One of my all time favorite bakeries I like going to as this place is also near my place. I like the cheese bread which I can eat a lot of. They also have a shrimp fried deal which is great and would recommend getting. I do like eating the pork buns too, but the meatball one is alright as it was dry. I like going here after I go to Seafood City.

Man, what can I not love about this place?! They have such great pastries freshly made everyday at such a great price! Some of my favorite pastries I usually or almost always purchase when coming into the store are their ube bread, mamosa or mamon, pineapple muffins, & ube muffins. They have many other tasty products but those are just a selected few of my faves. They also have the valerios across the street by sea food city.

Made the trip to union city and bought a bunch of treats for myself and family. Cheese rolls and empanadas were great but I must say the Turoun was my fave out of everything there.

I love their ube bread and their cheese rolls. You have to spend $ 10+ to use your card, which is a no biggie for me since I always tend to splurge on their breads(more than I always intended to). Customer service needs some updating, but other than that the two locations in Union City makes them hard to avoid.

Oh no, I have found my newest guilty pleasure! Dropped in yesterday evening and the line wrapped around this little bakery. I purchased apricot glazed seniorita bread ube cupcakes, and Spanish bread. Devoured by my children in less than 24 hours. All I got was one little ube cupcake to myself. Delicious! I know now why the line was so long. Their prices are unbeatable. There are so many more things for me to try. I seriously believe I will be back at least once a week. The empanadas looked mouthwatering. Oh boy so many more things to try here.

I always look forward to getting bread here after church because the pan de sal is always made fresh. It’s a bit crowded because of the small space & bread displays but it’s easy to maneuver around. I suggest the Ube deluxe for those who like trying new things. But the seniorita bread is always a favorite! It’s also affordable!

Great Filipino bakery. Breads are soft and good. Very affordable and good treats. Just wish they had better customer service.

Authentic Filipino bread and pastries, sold at an inexpensive price. That’s what I love most about this place. The shop is packed with fresh bread and is pretty small, so it can feel really cramped when it’s crowded. The parking lot is big, but fills up midday. But when you take a bite of the bread, it’s all worth it. My favorite bread is the ube pan de Sal and the turon.

Location: In the Seafood City Supermarket plaza, with plenty of parking! Directly to the right of the supermarket. Customer Service: The ladies that work here are very respectable and always greet you with a welcoming hello complimented with a «sir or mam» attitude when asking for anything! Décor: Very very small bakeshop, but shelves filled with yumminess!!! Presentation of Food: There are many filipino pastries, filipino desserts, everything you can think of plus more when you want to eat filipino baked goods! How did the food taste?: Never a disappointment, and everything touches so close to home. Everything is sooooo good. Overall Experience: When you walk in you just can’t help but inhale the yummy smelling goodness of the fresh pandesal which is always baking. Every time you come in and they announce«fresh pandesal just came out of the oven» it’s like you can’t help but buy some, you can never resist! You can find everything here from filipino desserts such as kutsinta, puto, turon, bibinka, pulvoron, etc!!! Theny ou have all the baked goods such as pandesal, hopia, ube pandesal, mamon, etc! You can’t help but buy so much food! And if you do go in and walk away with nothing, I think you may be living under a rock! Whether you’re filipino or not Valerio’s foods will capture your heart for sure! Would I Come Back?: Always, without a doubt.(Also there is a $ 10 minimum when using your card just a heads up!)

I love this place. Everything they have its delicious. The service is never anything special, it’s just a bakery after all. Everyone in the family has their favorites, I love the adobo. Ube, Pan De Sal, chicken empanadas and the cheese bread are all super. I always look forward to the opportunity because I live far away.

My ultimate go to place for Filipino bakeries and deserts! Fresh goods at a reasonable price. I absolutely love the Chicken Empanadas and samplers located in front of the cashier. Give this place a try, especially if you have as sweet tooth! :)

More like 3.5 stars, but will round up to 4, since I’ll be returning :) First time I was here, I vowed never to come back and wanted to give this place a 1 star rating, that was about 1 year go. Back then, I asked a couple questions in regards to what something was or what was in something. Upon asking, the ladies behind the counter starting talking to each other in Tagalog and laughing/giggling…well duh, not very nice. After, I gave the gal a dirty look, and started to walk out with what I had bought. They then did a 180 and started being all nice… ugh so very fake. Hate that. Glad I brushed it off and continued walking out. About one year later, I had to promised go buy some Filipino baked goods for some coworkers. I reluctantly back, but the experience went OK. I was back in the area today at the BBQ stand outside and decided to give it another try. I went out on the ledge and decided to ask a couple questions again to figure out what some of the items were. Miraculously, the gal answered my questions politely and was friendly about it. Ended up buying everything I asked about. Interestingly, it was the same gals behind the counter as my first visit, guess they picked up some customer service skills… yay.

Need to find a place to help you carb up with great tasting bread? Here you go! Valerio’s has been a go to spot for my potluck needs. Or if my mom needs some of her favorite pastries. A couple of my favorite items here are the Pineapple Cream Cheese Bread.(Don’t knock it until you try it!) and the Kalamay Ube cake(Purple yam rice cake). I see that they sell señorita bread here, but it’s more pricey over here. If you’re looking to try some Filipino breads and pastries, be sure to stop by here. It’s a small storefront with a huge selection of goodies!
