4 stars because I’m being very very generous! Always sit at the bar, so you have something else to look at besides your date(haha just kidding). I love the bbq beef sushi roll & just pick at the sushi boats. Unfortunately I do have to agree with the other comments about the boats not being full, but I will give the restaurant the benefit that I always come in right before they close, so I’m sure after a certain time they stop making sushi so it does not go to waste! Service is not the greatest, but they do keep my water and tea filled & also I sit at the bar just so I can get my own food & not have to wait on them… That is the point of the bar! Price of food is kinda of pricey but whatever I’ve paid more for worse food at other places! In conclusion, sushi boat is not bad for a quick sushi fix! If you aren’t picky & don’t need a waiter at your hand and foot this is your place!

I’ve ate here once before with my husband and daughter. Today we decided to eat here again. Absolutely never again only due to the horrible service we received and we didn’t even get to order. This was last year review I just forgot to post it

I came here with my boyfriend because we were waiting for stuff to get done at Best Buy. The food was pretty meh. I think the owners are Korean– at least the servers were. So I ordered the lunch bento with short rib and spicy pork; the short rib was a little fatty but the spicy pork was pretty good(though it can’t compare to authentic Korean spicy pork). The lunch bento comes with miso soup, tempura, rice, and salad as well. My boyfriend ordered the rainbow roll and it was pretty meh. Wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t great either. The food on the sushi boat looked like it had been out a while so we didn’t pick anything from there.

Sat at the sushi bar where the boats go by with sushi on them that you pick as they float by. Most of the sushi was so rubbery like it had been sitting around all day. It was a quick and easy meal but half the food on the sushi boats was pretty scary.

Disgusting sticky table at the sushi bar and even after asking the waitress she wiped it down with a dry napkin. Then I go to pay and her credit card machine is down and I’m late for a movie after waiting 10 minutes for her. I asked for a small discount for the inconvenience and she laughed at me and she said hell no.

I do not like leaving one star reviews but hygiene standards have to count. Small bug running on your plate will do that anytime. Also most of the seafood was not fresh and the prep lazy. If they did not want to exert effort then the owners should have opened a foot spa not a sushi place.

My family and I went there after a movie last Saturday. We sat at the sushi bar watching the empty Boats go by. Then my tea cup was empty and the servers huddled behind me laughing and talking like there was no tomorrow. I was in Japan a year, the food, the service, the culture a once in a life time experience… Sushi boat was like a night in jail minus the bread and water. With a possible shocking results for the miss guided in the men’s rest room.

Wow I’m surprised to read so many average reviews on this place! I have been to many sushi bars and this happens to be my favorite so far. I always come here and have never had a bad experience! I like to eat healthy so ordered the appetizers chicken skewers, cucumber sunomono with the miso soup and salad!!! Soooooo good! I then take the sushi off the sushi boats and seaweed salad and I have exactly what I want since I eat very little rice! I could have just eaten a plate of the cucumber appetizer as its so delicious! The servers always bring water or hot tea. I really love this place. I’m always greeted straight away and always served, never need to ask for anything. Cindy was our server today and she was fantastic! I have no complaints at all. I guess everyone has different expectations and experiences but I always write honestly and fairly and I love sushi boat and will continue to come here! :)

I don’t think I could give it much better review. This is our second time here and we only came here because we didn’t want to drive any where else. It’s around the corner from the hotel. The service was fine and we had no issues with the server. We sat at the sushi bar where the rolls, nigiri, desserts and fried items go around for you to choose. The price starts off at $ 2.50 for two little cookies or seaweed salad. It goes up to $ 5.75 for 3 – 4 pieces o rolls. Now the interesting thing is every roll is filled with imitation crab and then topped with salmon, tuna and I believe eel or snapper. A little disappointed that the options were limited and high. I ordered the chicken teriyaki off the menu and would give it a 7, the rice a 10. I think we should have stuck to the chicken then the sushi bar. My husband spent $ 30 on the item he choose which wasn’t much. I certainly believe you can find better sushi else where but if you don’t wanna drive and can settle on something that isn’t great them stop here. I like the restaurant it’s self. It was big(empty) and clean. Chop sticks are of very poor quality! Try not to get a splinter.

Vegan review: Definitely not a fan. Went on a Saturday, so we anticipated it to be busy. The service was alright… though the staff spent a lot of timing talk to one another every time we looked for them. The ramen my sister ordered was mediocre, compared to the ramen we’re used to that overloaded with veggies(or meat and egg in her case). They forgot a part of our order and when it came to dessert, they were out of mochi, which crushed my little bro since he’d been craving it. My veggie roll was fine. No complaints but we’ll be looking for other options in the future. Not a fan.

Service is fine but food is horrible. I order the Tempura and the Dragon. Taco Bell is better.

Had my first sushi here about 16 years ago. Yes, time sure does fly and it’s hard to believe that so much time has flown by. Haven’t been here since. Well until yesterday. Not much was opened on Christmas Day, and since we were watching the Hateful Eight in the Century Theaters, we decided to get some food first. This place was open and there wasn’t a line, so we checked in. First every SINGLE table has a sing that says Sapporo beer is 50% off. Great, only it’s not true. That’s an old sign I was told. Hmm. Service is quick enough, but the food here is so so. After eating sushi hundreds of times since my first experience I think I have a sense of what good tasting sushi tastes like. It didn’t taste all that special or fresh. Not bad mind you, but nothing brilliant. Not super pricey so it has that going for it, but you’re paying for average quality food. My udon soap was fine though. No problems there. Overall, I give it an average rating.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. The boats were pretty full but I found the appealing plates to be on the pricey side. Maybe it’s because I hadn’t been to a sushi boat place in a few years. My husband really liked his ramen, it looked delicious. Next time I’ll go for that instead of boats.

I love Sushi Boat and I will continue coming here. If you do not understand the concept of a conveyor belt, simply sit at the table and order off the menue for«fresh and delicious sushi». Do not give a bad review for your lack of knowledge of how the system works. Been coming here for years, great service and it is a plus now that they have their promo for 15% off all sushi and sashimi and 50% off Sapporo beer.

I will never come here again. The food is decent, but they are very stingy and literally STEALYOURMONEY. When you order rolls off the Maki list, it says that you will get 4 – 6 pieces. The last two times I ordered the avocu roll, it only came with 3! That is a rip off of you ask me. Second, and most importantly, THEYCHARGEDMYCARDFOR A TIPTHAT I NEVERAPPROVED! I zero’d out the tip area and put a horizontal line through it on the reciept because I wanted to pay the tip in cash. The total for the food was 19.47 yet my bank statement says that I was charged 22.47! That is absolutely illegal and wrong. Did they not think I would check??? The same thing happened to my friend who paid on a separate check. Thanks to your greedy waitresses stealing 3 dollars from me, you will never get all the money I would have spent on future visits.

I was so afraid of continuing to eat here I decided to stop. The food looked so old the sushi was already dry. I’m praying right now I don’t get food poisoning. They never added new sushi. The sushi they had was old. They do not refill drinks. You constantly have to find your server for anything.

It’s alright not the greatest but it’ll fix the post movie and don’t want to wait too long hunger. Came in and waited for a few minutes before we sat down at the bar. Wished I didn’t… but needed something quick, so that we can pick up the kids. 90% of the boats were empty. A couple of the same plates came rolling by. Against better judgment, we ate off the conveyer belt selections. Stuck mostly to the cooked rolls but it was nothing special. Also had the salmon nigri, tasted OK. Midway through our meal, the refrigerated case were being hosed down and washed. Was hoping for more but didnt happen. Hubby ordered the teriyaki steak with tempura. It was OK, the tempura was piping hot. 3 stars for that. service was OK. Only come back if I’m in dire need for food and krispy crème won’t cut it.

Tried out Sushi Boat on a last minute decision because we wanted to see a movie at Century 25 next door. Sat at the counter so we could get in and out fast. Got a few things: salmon nigiri — fine Rainbow roll-only 2 pieces, meh B. got a seaweed salad w/octopus — he ate it I got a Poke roll w/lots of seaweed on top — tasted ok uni nigiri– worst tasting thing ever, strange sauce B. got a ramen dish — took forever, he seemed to like it Nothing special food here and no plans to return.

Much to my relief, the food here wasn’t nearly as bad as the reviews would otherwise indicate. The family and I came in for an impromptu dinner after coming across a horrendous wait at Little Sheep nearby and the meal was perfectly fine. The teriyaki chicken donburi was piping hot and reasonably portioned, my beef sukiyaki was even hotter and my brother’s nabeyaki udon was loaded with toppings inside a cast iron pot. The caterpillar roll was also solid with fresh avocado and good construction. The downside is that the dishes across the board cost considerably more than they’re worth in terms of quality. Tea is complimentary and refilled regularly, service is efficient.
