Subway

Just avoid this location period. I’ve been here numerous of times and every time the associates are rude and nasty. The associates at this subway are always rude, no matter what time of day it is. I went in today and I greeted the heavy-​set African American woman with the tattoo on her wrist and a slimmer young man with glasses with a hello. The young man said «hey,» back then there was silence as I’m waiting for the woman behind the counter with the unfriendly face to greet me and ask me my order. To my surprised she said in a irritated voice «You want a sandwich?» That through me off since I am in a sub/​deli shop. The young man is now laughing at her rude reply in which I did not find the humor in. The young woman then says «The line starts down there.» I am the only one in the store, again this shocks me because she could have simply just taken my order and moved to the end on the line towards the bread oven instead of rudely telling me that. She makes my sub without much eye contact and when she’s finished she basically throws my sandwich at me. There is a Kroger that makes subs, a Subway inside the nearest Walmart, a J. R Crickets, and numerous other restaurants that are nearby that I could spend at and give great business too so why should I (or anyone else that I know) spend money at this franchise location? I don’t understand why it would be okay for people to spend money at this location and be treated like their money is no good and to be welcomed with nothing but attitude and bitterness.

It’s 8:36pm…stopped to get a sandwich. Doors locked. Sign on the door states they close @9pm on Sunday. That’s today. Will not patronize this Subway again.

I go here quite often since it’s right next to the Kroger where I typically do my grocery shopping. There are two subways in Union City, this one and the one at Wal-​Mart. While neither is amazing (it’s still a Subway) go with this one. The staff is far better. Even at it’s peak hours you can still get in and out fairly quickly.
