Starbucks

I always come to this Starbucks, but only the drive thru option. I did go inside once and they have cool charging stations at every table!
The drive thru people are always kind and ready to help.
The drinks are typically a bit stronger on the coffee here which I don’t mind at all, I actually really prefer it!

What a drag !!! I have a craving for S’more Frappecino so I stop at this Starbucks to satisfy the urge.
I wait in line for a while and when it’s my turn to order. I order my S’more drink .I’m told by the Girl at the Counter their out of the Frappecino Drinks .
Wtf !! Your business is drinks and you run out of ingredients!!!
Epic Fail !!!

Saturday I tried the drive thru before work, got there 5:01 AM and the woman at the window waved me on saying «closed»! Again this morning, a Thursday, 5:30 AM darn place is closed.

The drive thru here is always fine. Today I walked in to order and there was no line and literally 6 people working the front area… I had been standing at the cash register for 5 minutes and still no one acknowledged me. I literally had to ask someone if they could take my order (because standing in front of the cashier isn’t clear enough?)… I usually LOVE starbucks service… What happened??? :(

Sometimes I come here to study on my laptop. I’ve never had any problems with drinks or their service.
The only problems I have are not probably their fault. I don’t know what it is with this starbucks, but it is always really loud here. Whether it’s the machines or the customers, it’s always noisy.

I don’t know what it is with this place, but they are always out of mango syrup. Also, most of the time they never blend their frappes out all the way, so you are just chewing ice! Otherwise, Mainly good customer service interactions and a decent sized sitting/​studying space.

I visited this Starbucks store at 32 340 Alvarado Blvd, Union City, CA on 2÷24÷2016 at 4:30pm and it was a scary hostile, and threatening environment.
A customer there was cursing belligerently at me and made threatening gesture because I sat on a leather chair where he wanted to put his legs on from where he sat across while watching a movie on his phone. I was shell shocked for a few minutes before I went up to the counter and mentioned to the staff. Nothing was done. The staff was too scared to do anything.
This is not the first incident. I frequent this store many times, and there are always some rift rafters at this place. They rearrange the furniture, put up their legs on other leather chairs with their dirty shoes, beg for money, curse, hostile behavior and intimidate people. This place is simply out of control. Lots of anti-​social behavior.
Of course, there are always a large group of old men smoking right at the door — putting customers off.
Starbucks need to bring in security or restructure the facility since it’s only a matter of time before things escalate there.
I took this matter up by calling Starbucks customer service immediately by emailing them (
) as well as calling (877−309−3180) them the next day (2÷25÷2016) around 10 am PST. But after a couple minutes of explaining the above to them, the person hung up on me. This is a complete gross negligence on their part. I think I will proceed to take this issue to the next level because there’s no reason why paying customers have to experience what I did at a place where you just want to buy a cup of coffee.

This is my go to Starbucks because it is close to my house. Most of the employees are very nice. The drive thru is very hit or miss. Sometimes it has taken me over 20 minutes to get my drink from the drive thru line! Additionally, I tried mobile ordering and they lost my order and I had to reorder and wait when I got into the store which is ridiculous. That being said, if you can find a place to sit, it’s a decent location for studying.

I was very lucky today, I walked in and there was NO LINE! I think it helped that this one had a drive thru, all the other people wasting their gas when I skipped right to the front :)
I tried something new today, I usually get a regular latte, today I tried a flat white, wow finally a coffee drink that TASTES LIKE COFFEE! Their Lattes to me are hit or miss, and this really hit the spot. Thanks Starbucks.

I’ve been in this drive through for so long that I’m confident this is where I live now.

Always a great bunch of guys to deal with, awesome customer service…

Who reviews a Starbucks, right? That’s what I would think.
But this freaking Starbucks always gets my order wrong! They overcharge me, they give me hot when it should be iced, they HARDLY EVER remember an add shot, they run out of all of their hot food, and they just give Starbucks a worse rap than they even deserve.
Get it together!

Came through drive through to get Venti — green tea ice latte and paid $ 4.45 for each.
Once we got the coffee it was 70% filled. After paying full price we get half the coffee? I don’t know if we looked weird or it’s just their policy to give less coffee with no ice.

I’ve come here frequently, considering I live across the street and each time I leave unhappy.
Before you even get to the store, the drive thru-​line is blocking your entrance to the shopping center. And yes, I get people are human and not everyone is perfect, but the line moves slow so people not even trying to go to Starbucks suffer by having a hard time driving into the center. They’re polite in the drive-​thru (I’ve gone through 2 – 3 times) but the real trouble is when you go inside.
I’ve sat inside this location several times and ordered something different each time. This location does not stalk their RTD case through out the day — I am forced to ask if they have what I want since they leave the RTD bare. The pasties are kept inside the case (all they have available) and they do not have more handy (and more fresh) in individual bags like other Starbucks do.
Upon ordering, the Baristas do not give eye contact (is something on my face?) and have never asked for my name, which is a Starbucks standard. I have had to ask two separate times for them to remake my drink (one a Green Tea Latte and a Chestnut Prailine Latte) due to the excessive amount of foam they layer on your drink (foam should be about half a inch, not the entire cup). They upgrade your drink to the larger size when they remake it, but do not apologize.
Waiting for your drink is a joke too because they are more focused on getting drinks/​pastries and sandwhiches through the drive-​thru line faster because of the time limit they’re allowed.
Although I love the seating in this Starbucks, I won’t be coming back any time soon.

I have a new born and me getting out is such a hassle sometimes. I love this drive thru Starbucks. They never do to much they keep the conversation short and polite while helping you, the line goes super fast the drinks are made PERFECT. by far my fav Starbucks

This is my go to Starbucks every other week since I take a different route to work every other week to take my son to daycare. I love that this location has a drive thru so if its cold or raining I don’t have to get out of my car. The line for the drive thru is long in the morning with everyone getting coffee before heading to work but the baristas move fast. My drink is always made right and the baristas at the drive thru window are always nice and smiling!

This place is a hit or miss.
There are days were the drive thru workers are friendly and the drinks are delicious.
Other days the drive thru workers are grumpy and the drinks suck.
You never know what you’re gonna get (bubba gump voice).

From my very first visit here, I knew that this particular location was very different from the plethora of other Starbucks locations I’ve visited around the US over the years. This particular location’s service is superb! It is on a whole other level on its own. Seriously.
The location is inside a shopping plaza right on the cross streets of Alvarado Boulevard and Galaxy Drive. There is a convenient traffic light at that corner too so traffic going either direction on Alvarado Blvd. can easily get to this location.
Sitting area isn’t as large, so the tables are set closer together. What better way to push the personal bubble and give customers even more opportunities to talk to someone new or meet someone new. I’ve met a couple of nice women here. *They initiate the conversation with me. And I’m average looking. Barely.
Kudos to the management and the entire team here at this Starbucks location for making my usual «Starbucks Run» a unique one. I come here most of the time, but don’t check in all the time. (For obvious reasons.)

Definitely my favorite location. Not only is it close to my house, but it is roomy with plenty of inside and outside seating, ALL the baristas are awesome — I know them and they know me and my drink order, after all I’ve been coming here daily ever since they opened 7 years ago.
And now they have Powermat at most tables. You can charge your mobile device using a Powermat ring.

I’ve been to this location a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. I really like how they have a drive-​thru for people like me who are always on the go. The service is fast both inside and out. Also they make their drinks very well. I usually order a mocha frappuccino and it always comes out just the way I like it. I can definitely taste the coffee, and its not too sweet. And its very smooth! There aren’t really any ice chunks like at other places. Any Starbucks that can make a frapp without me struggling to sip on my drink due to some unblended ice gets a star from me!
I kinda like how the entrance and seating area is in the back so its a bit more secluded and private. You won’t be distracted or looked at by other people walking along Alvarado st. I just wish this place was open later and was in a place closer to the center of the shopping mall. Since its in the far corner near the train tracks it seems like sketchy stuff can happen near there. Overall, good fast drinks and service!
