Platinum global logistics crated and shipped 2 machines from our company in San Jose to Taiwan. I am very impressed with the service and quality of packing and crating. The machines are expensive. $ 600,000. Remarkable work.
Excellent customer service. Will use them again.

What an awful, awful experience dealing with this company.
We sold a large, heavy item — a desk — to an international buyer, and the purchaser arranged for this company to pickup and package it in preparation for shipping overseas.
I rang them to coordinate our schedules for pickup. We agreed a day, and I arranged time off work to do this. The day before pickup I asked for a specific pickup time and was given a vague 5 hour window — this was pretty unhelpful as we had other things to do. Not a good start.
It got worse. The morning of the pickup I get a phone call asking to reschedule for another day. What!!! After taking time off work to do this?! I don’t remember the excuse given — I just don’t care. He relented when I said NO I HAD TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK.
But it got even worse. I get a call back to say he can only send one person to pickup the desk and would I help his packer take it down 2 flights of stairs? WHAT!!! What the hell were they being paid for? If I hadn’t been around, would they have expected my wife to help carry the desk down two flights of stairs?
The packer who eventually arrived reeked of marijuana.
I would never recommend these people.

I had an expensive tiffany lamp shipped across the country to Pennsylvania. PGL picked up the lamp quickly from the auction house. They did an outstanding job packaging and crating the lamp for shipment, the lamp arrived in pennsylvania in as purchased condition.
I would highly recommend PGL for all but especially those fragile and expensive shipments.

I had to get our expensive $ 85,000 servers shipped from our office in San Jose to our subsidiary in Bangalore, India. Shopped around and got quotes from multiple companies. Picked these guys finally because they were prompt and asked the right questions. It’s my job to get it done right
They came prepared to wrap up the servers and took them to their warehouse. After they were packaged and crated, Augusto and Mary sent me pictures to give me comfort. They prepared the docs right for import in India and cleared customs. Customs clearance in India is hard and they did it good. Got a compliment from our guys in Bangalore that they got them safe and on time as well.
