«I’m Just not in the mood to make anything» with an attitude, what bartender says that? The day of my birthday. My friends and I sat at the bar. Just 3 of us. My friend had told the bartender it was my birthday and asked if she can make me something special a margarita or something. She said«I’m sorry but I’m not in the mood, I’m just not in the mood right now sorry» bringing all our vibes down. WHATBARTENDERSAYSTHAT?!! After that me and my friends all looked at eachother thinking we don’t even want to be here anymore. It’s my birthday and I want positive vibes, which I was expecting, but as a bartender I understand she maybe had a bad day, but don’t spread that bad energy on customers especially if it’s your bday. She didn’t give any time of customer service at all. We came here for a good time. We just got up and left and went to TGIF across the street, which made my night. After reading other customer reviews on this location, I realized many customers get the same bad treatment as well. Very poor management here. 6÷7÷169:20 pm whoever was the bartender at this time and date should be fired. Thanks for the worst experience on my birthday.

My family had dinner here tonight. The place was about half full and we were seated immediately. Our server Abdul attended to us right away and took our order for drinks. He was very friendly and attentive. We got the following. Half rack ribs-Typical. Served with fries which was okay. I had a 10 ounce sirloin, medium rare.-Nicely cooked. Served with mash potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli had no flavor. Kids chicken crispy tenders.- My son didn’t finish it. He said he like McD nuggets better. The service was great(five stars) but the food was just three stars. We knew what to expect with the food here. We went because we had a gift card.

Used to go here with my friends all the time. I’m not a really big drinker. But my friends are and they like sitting at the bar. We used to go their so often that we kinda became regulars. We stopped going there because last year me and my friend split the check so my friend pays tip and I don’t. So one time, one of the Waitresses after I filled out the receipt and put $ 0 as a tip. Went to another customer sitting at the bar and started talking hella loudly«if your a regular here, shouldn’t you tip?» First of all(I was saying this in my head) if it was one check dumb bitch you would get one tip! Why should you get 2 tips just cause we split the check. And one more thing. When you make eye contact with the waitress and even flag your hand to pay for the check. They ignore you. Wtf? Someone in management better handle their employees!

Their sloppy with their silverware and their water is from the tap. Absolutely disgusting. They need to have more attentive servers as well. It would have been one star if I didn’t like their quesadilla explosion salad so much. So dissapointed

I ordered online 11 entrees in the morning around 9:30 am for a meeting to pick up that same morning at 11:00 am. When I arrived at Chili’s at 11:10 am I was extremely happy to see that all the food was ready and bagged for pick up! All I had to do was pay. The cashier in the front went over all the food that was packed before I paid. I will continue to order from this Chili’s when we have meetings! Awesome and on time.

So, I’m not usually the negative type. But I lost my patience with this Chilis. On two separate occasions, they failed us, miserably. And we haven’t returned, and don’t plan on returning anytime soon. The unfortunate thing about all of this is that I think their food is really good. Yet, sadly, their employees and customer service… if we weren’t being ignored, we were being treated rudely. The first incident: We walk into the restaurant one early evening. It was kinda busy, being that it was dinnertime. But after checking in with the hostess, we got our table for two in 15 minutes. After being escorted to our table, we sat, and the waiting game commenced. We sat there for 45 minutes without even being glanced at. A server never even came up to take our drink order. When a server would walk by our area, I would try to grab their attention, but they would be walking in a fast pace, seemingly, looking other directions in attempts to ignore us. After waiting patiently for 45 minutes, I looked at my girl and said«babe, let’s get the heck outta here». And we split. I’m not the type to cause a seen. I could have easily yelled and demanded service, and I could have been that obnoxious patron we’ve all seen in restaurants. But no, forget that. We’ll take our business elsewhere. The second incident: Thinking(or maybe hoping) that the previous incident was just a one time thing, we decided to try chilis again, a few weeks later. The attempt proved to be a bad decision. We walked in around 6 o’clock, and waited a minute or two at the check-in desk for a hostess to appear. Once she arrived, I said«hi, table for two». She seemed a little lost(maybe she was new). She replied«uuuh…». Picking up that she was feeling overwhelmed, I politely asked«can we sit at the bar?». She glanced at the bar area, then looked at me and said«I don’t know. Can you?» … I really don’t need that disrespect and stupidity from some chilis employee. I grabbed my girl by the hand, and we got outta there. This review was going to be a two star review. It’s hard, you know? The food is really good; I really like the food. Just, the customer service is so terrible. Typing this now, made me relive the anger that I felt in those instances, and overpoweringly tarnishes any possibility of giving this restaurant a positive review.

This review does not reflect the service. I went there and had an appetizer and an entrée, I had not eaten anything all day and my only meal of the day was what I ate at chills. In the evening, a few hours after I ate, I started to feel nauseous. I went to bed and in the middle of the night woke up feeling really bad stomach pains. I spent the next few hours making trips to the bathroom vomiting and having severe diarrhea. I am still suffering from diarrhea this morning, the morning of my graduation. Sadly I will never come back to chills ever again.

Usually I like this chilis, for one it’s closer to my house than the Fremont location. They do usually forgot at least one thing or two but to be to totally forgotten is pretty sad. It was few weeks ago I was disappointed and probably will not go back. I came in around 8:30 sat at the bar section with my sister. Waiter came took our order for drinks which was just water, then came back 10 mins later to take our order 2 for $ 20. My sister and I chatted noticed more people coming in and it was about 9:10 and noticed some people getting their food already. I wanted to wait to see if we were next… 9:30 and no food. My frustration because it was getting late and I was expecting to have LEFT at 9:30. I saw any waiter and told him to cancel my order because I was leaving. I’m not a big fan on making situations a big deal usually let it go but this I believe was unfair.

Never fails always something wrong when I come here it can be every other year. Lol I ordered a 6oz steak with shrimp, the shrimp looked sick and they were cold. Told my waitress to take it off the bill and she replies, no problem, what kind of service is this? As if she didn’t care, well neither did I about her tip…

I ordered a blended mango margarita. I found a dead fly in it. Which means that they are NOT up to code. Totally Grossed out with my drink the waitress remade my drink as if I want anything from that bar! I have absolutely No appetite for the food. Im actually paranoid I will find something worse on my plate. im here with my family who is very hungry. Otherwise i would cancel my whole order. I will be making a few phone calls tomorrow tho.

Went in there yesterday with a few friends. I was expecting a normal chilis treatment nothing exciting, average food and okay service. But as we were walking in host saw us and ran towards the door and held a door for us with a big smile made me feel like i was in one of the dining rooms at vanetian or wynn. Our waiter was amazing she was extremely friendly and had some good recommendations. Overall i had great experience and would definitely go there again.

wow Yesterday was very disappointing with you guys !!! i would not buy to go from here anymore! you seems like you couldn’t care less about the people who order to go!!! the food was a LOT less then when you order the same thing inside the restaurant !!! WTF!!! PLUS it was cold and don’t even test good!!! Very Very Disappointing. i would definitely don’t recommended to buy to go/take-out from here because the quality and quantity has nothing to do with what they actually server inside the restaurant!!! i just lost $ 40 for nothing :(

I just called to see if the restaurant was open. . Lady picks up says hello, the usual greeting I then ask what time they close and she says we’re actually closed right now thank you merry Christmas«click»… How rude could you get??? Customer service at its lowest at the worst time of the year. All I wanted to know was the time for operations thank you very much. I know it was a female who answered but give the customer a little time to ask what time or when do you open back up the day after Christmas at least. I am only writing this to response of the nasty phone call which has me pretty irritated right now. If child’s reads this I only ask that your workers have proper edict on the phone prior to service.

#87 So, I decided to take a friend out to lunch and he suggested«Chili’s» in Union Landing. While Chili’s is not my first choice for dining, it was Hugh’s… so let’s do it. I arrived right on time, and there was Hugh, waiting for me outside the restaurant. Hugh had recently bought me a ton of NBA stuff – mostly Dwayne Wade(my secret celebrity crush) and wanted to give these things to me. I thought a lunch was in order. We walked in and stood at the hostess stand a second, the hostess greeted us and sat us in the back near the kitchen. I noticed that there was a computer at the table and asked our sever what was it all about? She told us it was in case we were in a big hurry at the end of the meal, we could just swipe our card and leave. Well, I thought, if I were in that big of a hurry I would not be eating here, but anyway… Here is a list of what we ordered: Mozzarella sticks Ribs with fries Turkey club with a salad The food was good. I am not a usual Chili’s diner, so I guess it was better than what I was expecting. The service was good, too. She was attentive and not overbearing. She also dealt well with my companion, who is somewhat demanding in his own right. She helped me realize there was bacon on the turkey sandwich, of which she had the kitchen prepare without. She brought Hugh his messy ribs and plenty of napkins. My only issue was at the end of the meal… where is my check? When I saw our sever again I asked her about it. She told me, «Oh, you can just pull it up on this machine.» Might have been nice to know that in the beginning. When restaurants jump on the«hurry and rush you out» band wagon, they need to make sure the guests understand how these things work to our benefit, else they are not beneficial and a wasted expense for the restaurant. Against my better judgement, I agreed to have dinner at Chili’s. As I mentioned before I didn’t expect much, but she’s been craving that Table-side Guacamole she’s been seeing in their commercials. From my experience Chili’s problem is they can’t live up to their marketing department which does a great job with presentation… Maybe too good as I’ve never seen anything come out of the Chili’s kitchen which even remotely looked liked the photos on the menu, and today was no exception. I ordered the Fajitas and they came out nothing like the photo on the menu. The chicken came out pale as if it was just oven baked, fajitas are supposed to be GRILLED! The veggies came out limp and lifeless, they should come out fresh & crisp, and the meat came out overcooked and under portioned. They looked to be about 1⁄3 of what the portion should be and it was like I was eating beef jerky. Lastly the shrimp was definitely not as advertised. The photo shows some nice full size shrimp whereas I was served little baby shrimp. I let the manager know and they took it back and basically just put the entire thing in an oven for 10 mins which did nothing but dry it out more. When I asked the manager why this looks nothin like the menu photo, he said Chili’s took out ALL their fire grills and replaced them with ovens. It seems as they could not train their cooks to properly grill food so they took the guess work out of it and put easy bake ovens in. He told me the ovens create the grill marks… What a SCAM! Talk about bait and switch! I wish I could give them an ZEROSTAR! I will say one thing… The Table-side Guacamole was pretty good, but not enough to make up for the nightmare fajitas. To top it all off the manager did nothing to accommodate us for the terrible experience… Didn’t offer to comp the fajitas nor to at least even offer a free dessert!

Food and service has gotten a little better but its a hit or miss. I like that they started the rewards programs. I recently came back a couple times and always get the 2 for $ 20 deal. Food is good and hot and service like I said is a hit or miss. Depending on who it is. They also have a table tablet to play with but it will charge 99 cents onto your bill. First time I didnt know what it was but it will charge you. Kept my son busy though during dinner since once hes done with his food he wants to get out of his high chair. Baffalo wild wings though doesnt charge for their table tablet. Overall food is still the same somewhat but I do miss the salad wraps!

For the past few years, my kids and I have been coming here at least once per month, buy only because I keep getting free gift cards from work. Food is okay. I appreciate the lower calorie options on the menu, and 2-for-$ 20 dinner is a good value deal. Food quality is generally good, except for the tostada chips. The platter of chips often are served half under-fried and over-fried, but always drenched in oil. Margaritas are fantastic. Service is decidedly mixed. I have had waiters who are friendly and super-efficient, and waiters who can’t manage two tables of customers at once. Even though Chili’s has moved to automated kiosk for ordering and paying, kiosks don’t bring you food.

Came for lunch since I’ve heard that they’ve remodeled. The place looks really nice inside and they have these cool tablet looking thingy’s where the kids can play unlimited amount of games for .99. You can also order refills and pay on it which was cool. My california sandwich left alot to be desired, I think it would have tasted better had I made it myself at home. Service wasn’t the greatest, our waitress should up maybe once and copped an attitude when I told her I was in fact given the wrong sandwich. I came in not expecting much due to all the crappy reviews, so it wasn’t a big surprise when this visit was only a 2 star visit. Will I be back? with so many dining options around Union Landing, probably nah!
