So, I have had two very different experiences coming to this place one day after another. The first day(a Monday) I came into an empty establishment to be greeted by the nicest young lady who was eager to help me and informed me on what comes on the super tacos. So I ordered two which was my mistake because I am used to them being rather small. I got two huge tacos which were quite tasty(carnitas was my meat selection). I work right around the corner so I came back a second day to a very different experience. I walk in and it is again empty and was not greeted by either of the women in the kitchen, until I asked one of them to help me out. I proceeded to order one regular taco because the super one was too much for an afternoon snack, so I paid. I then decided that I wanted some beans for dinner and chips to dip I was charge almost 6 dollars for all of that. When she going to put the chips in the bag I asked where were the second bag that I paid for was and she let me know that you only get a free bag of chips if you spend more then 5 dollars(when in this case I did just in separate transactions). Needless to say she was very reluctant to give me a second bag of chips that I paid for. So I recommend this place if you go in on Mondays!

My homesick Texan self FINALLY found my Mexican breakfast spot! Hue is Rancheros were really amazing — cooked fast and so tasty. Brian’s who served me was so very friendly. Can’t wait to try the breakfast burrito with no pales y papas!

I’ve stopped in for breakfast, lunch and dinner and haven’t been disappointed once. The food isn’t the best I’ve had but it’s definitely on the mark. Everything tastes fresh, the service is fast and friendly and if you’re going in for breakfast and want something a little different try their huevo con nopales. I’m a pretty big fan of cactus in my burrito and was happy to see that they offered it. The biggest downside to this place is the price. It’s very, very expensive for Mexican food. I come from Fresno and am used to get a huge, cheap, delicious burrito for about $ 6. I bought a burrito with horchata for around $ 10. I did throw in a tip so in all fairness, it was a bit less than that. But still, a little expensive. Overall, this is a great place to stop in and grab a plate of good Mexican food. I go often and plan to be back sometime this week for breakfast.

If you are looking for a good decent size breakfast burrito in the Union City area, come here!!! I finally got a chance to try and I’m hooked! Ordered a bacon, egg and potato burrito and put some hot sauce on there! Perfect! They charge extra for bacon though. But this will satisfy my once a month craving! Thanks!!!

I have passed this place for years and never thought to stop by. This time I was craving a breakfast burrito and all my usual joints were closed. I walked in and it seemed pretty good, but the cheapo signs all over the place stating only one chips and salsa per order and only one free refill was kind of a turn off. I ordered my breakfast burrito and it was not bad, but a little expensive for what I got. The lady packed a bag of chips for each burrito and when I got home I got a chuckle out of the 4 chips in each bag. This place was not that bad, there are just many many places better, in price, quality and customer service.

Great, great tacos. Hot, freshly cooked and flavorful. We had the chicken beef and pork and could not decide which was better. Highly recommended for the tacos.

Great quality food. Everything is made from scratch. I’ve been here about 4 times for dinner and I’m finally writing a review because it’s been consistently beyond my expectations. I haven’t found great quality mexican food like this outside of San Francisco. This is the neighborhood I grew up in making it even better! They also have freshly made pastries. I definitely recommend the chilli rellenos, the flautas plate and the burritos. Fresh ingredients, homeade tortillas, chips, refried beans, rice and even the side salad. They serve a good selection of mexican beers as well. The place is also immaculately clean. Windows too which I find really rare in any restaurant. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

The woman behind the counter couldn’t have been better to my friend and I and the food was very good. Based on the food alone, I would go again and recommend it to my friends and family. However, I was baffled by seeing my receipt wasn’t itemized nor were there menu prices on the board. I was so hungry I simply ordered without thinking of price, something I’ll never do again ! Has anyone who has patronized this place had a similar experience?

This is a little more than overpriced for what you get. I was hoping that my $ 10 lunch would at least taste good, but it smelled like dog food and didn’t taste much better. The best part of my lunch was my can of pineapple soda. Service was lousy on top of everything else. Will never go back.

I pass by this place from time to time. Thought I stop by to try em out. I order two Asada Torta to-go and waiting for the order to complete. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. So I saw I sign inside saying $ 1 dollar tacos. So, I went back up the cashier and ordered 3 asada tacos togo. She rang me up and said $ 8 dollars and some change… I didn’t want to say anything and sound cheap so I paid for it. In my head, I was like. If you advertise $ 1 dollar tacos. You should ask the customer, did want our $ 1 dollar taco or the regular tacos. But I guess it was my fault for not specifying my order in the first place. This would be my first and last time eating here. ohh. btw, I agree with the other Unilocaler, the food was not that great!

I’ve stopped here a couple of times for their breakfast burritos, they’re alright. The place is always dead, so I feel weird buying food ’cause the thought of «I wonder how long they’ve had that» creeps into my mind…

For high priced Taco Bell come here. People tell me there is really no bad Mexican in the region. Lies I tell you. Pure crap. The food is atrocious. Food taste as if it fell from the inside of a can. Nothing was fresh. Nothing was well seasoned. And man are they stingy with portion sizes for what they charge. I want to believe that they were having an off day. Otherwise, I fail to understand how this place has been in business this long without folding.

A little bit greasy, and meh. The salsas are good. The prices are a bit high but the service is really good.

From the outside, this place looks like a cheap mini-mart, and it’s name isn’t really the combo I’m looking for… but it’s actually a pretty solid little eatery. I ordered the al pastor burrito and was pleasantly surprised at how deliciously smokey, spicy, and tender the meat was. I’ve had a lot of pastor, and this was one of the best. The chips were fresh, hot and crispy and the accompanying salsa bar is full of great homemade salsas, especially the thick one with roasted tomatoes with green onions. I walked in on a Unilocal-whim with low expectations and walked out with a new go-to lunch spot!

Hell Yeah! Fresh made Chorizo burritos at 6am! WORD!!! This place is effing fantastic… I’ve passed it on my way to work every morning for 2 years and never went inside.SHAME. ON. ME. I was craving chorizo this morning so my coworker went to go pick me up some breakfast. I told him to try this place out since it was open and he brought back these HUGE nuggets of LOVE. Cheesy, meaty, nom nom goodness or hot chorizo and potato. Bomb green and red salsa too. I saw they also had a bakery with fresh baked goodies and juices… I just thank the good pregnancy lord that I found this place… I have a Dr. appointment this afternoon and they shall see my 4 month fetus jumping for joy.

I was told by a reliable source that this is really authentic Mexican food. Authentic or not, I really liked it. I usually hate beans at a Mexican restaurant but this one was delicious, I was again told by a reliable source that it is because the beans here contain lard which is the secret ingredient. The rice, chorizo, the bbq pork(spicy though) were all good. The lady at the counter was very sweet too.
