I just had to write this review because it’s clear that others have only written when they have bad experiences. I was referred to a number of appliance repair shops that will service my refrigerator that’s under warranty. Atech was the only one that returned my call, and promptly. They sent someone out the following day and respected the fact that I had a conference call that we had to work around. Nick arrived on time, diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it on the spot. He was kind, informative and he knew his stuff. I won’t hesitate to call them in the future.

I called Atech on a Sunday afternoon about my Frigidaire dryer. They called me back promptly the next morning, but I missed the call. I proceeded to call them every day for three consecutive days, never reached a person, and never got a call back.

I used this company last year in April. Technician informed me I needed 2 parts, provided estimate and I authorized work to be performed. 3 weeks later they are saying one part on backorder. Called Frigidaire and they overnighted part to me directly. When I called to set up appointment with Sandy I was then told the other part now not in stock. Was forced to pay $ 89.95 by check and told twice I would be refunded, but a year later I have not received a check. Had another local repair company complete the service needed. Frigidaire has more reputable repair companies in the bay area, do yourself a BIG favor and use another. No one ever answers phone and horrible customer service. To top it all off, I had a broken arm and had been released from hospital a week earlier and was living alone. Not even an ounce of compassion.

ATech appliance service is a TERRIBLECOMPANY! Honestly the worst costumer service I have ever received. I am a small business owner and live by the motto that for ever satisfied customer they will tell one friend and for every dissatisfied customer, they will tell ten friends. I am now on a crusade to warn as many people about this horrific company as I can. I called them for a broken dishwasher(that was under warranty) on Jan4, 2012. A very nice and professional technician came out a week or so later and said that he would have to order 1 part and that it should be in stock in about 7 – 10 business days and that he would call me when it arrived. February came and no call. So I started calling them. I called both office numbers twice a week and never was able to talk to real person. February 23rd came I finally spoke with the«office manager» and she apologized and said she would look into it and call me «right back.» March came and no call. Shocking. In March I continued to call both numbers twice a week and was only able to leave voicemails. Finally I spoke with a live person, again the«Office Manager,» on March 22. She stated she was sorry and that she literally promised to call me back by close of business the next day. It is now March 27th, 3 business days later, and I again called twice and left two voicemails after not hearing from her. She called, apologized again, and said that she had re-ordered the 1 part i needed and that it would be in by next week. We will see. This company does not answer their phones, does not call you back, does not communicate with you about your order status, and has the worst costumer service I have ever encountered. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau(BBB) in hopes that that something will be done. Beware!!! Choose another company!!!
