Venue: AMF Bowling Center(aka Citizens’ Lane) Décor: Bowling Alley Like Service: Ok, slow, not as prompt Environment: Family oriented, leagues Food: Hot dogs, fries, wings(which are good), pizza, soda, etc… Prices: Very good Huge Pros: The prices, the live DJ in the evening, the bar area, flat screen tv’s for sports, pool, etc Debbie Downers: Service is a tad bit slow, the lanes are outdated via the computers & monitors(like 30 years behind) Conclusion: If it wasn’t for the slow service, this review would easily be a strong 4 stars. Outside of the slow service, everything else was peace. A very good atmosphere for bowling leagues, children, families and friends to come together and knock down some pins. There are 32 lanes and on most days are packed. The food is very good; the wings rival many wing spots in the area. Also the drinks are cheap cost wise. It is a good place if you happen to be in the area to kick it an evening here, an evening there. It can use some remodeling, updates but for it’s purpose, it will do. Overall: C

I just wanted to visit this location based on a friend’s recommendation and I must say I had a good time. At first we wanted to go for lunch just to eat, but once we got inside we decided to bowl as well. The Glady’s Knight restaurant itself is also located inside of this AMF Citizen’s Bowling Alley and its’s right behind the Pep Boys Auto Shop in Union City off Jonesboro Rd. Our waiter was Nick, he was very proficient, quick and professional. The waiters and waitresses actually come to your bowling lane and take your order and bring the food back to your lane, so you can still bowl and enjoy your meal at the same time. I ordered the house grilled salad and my friends had the wings and waffles, it was fresh and good. We had a blast, its a great spot for pretty much any type of occasion or just to have a fun date night for a couple. This place is like enjoying two events in one location, and the prices are reasonable.
