I’m a 4th generation Lundy goer and my daughter is the 5th. Been coming here since I was born almost every year. Most the time 2 – 3 times a year. Not only great fishing, but outstanding scenery. Nothing else compares to this place. Sue and Leo are amazing !!! A piece of my heart never leaves. Can’t wait to bring my grandchildren some day !! To start the 6th generation Lundy goers

Did that lady really just complain about photographers, beavers, and environmentalists ruining Lundy Canyon? Smh! Lol! Been coming here for 9 years now, and this place is tops! Great campgrounds, clean cabins, great work staff, and of course the beautiful outdoors! Make the hike to the old mines and the hidden lakes! It’s tough but well worth the payoff at the top!

Since 1987, I’ve been traveling from So Cal to the Lundy Lake Resort, each week after Labor Day, to camp, fish, drink, play poker, and tell tales with a group of 20+ men known as the Lundy Lake Lunkers. The Lundy Lake Resort property is well kept, efficiently operated, and maintains a rustic and neighborly vibe. Over the years, the Lundy Lake Resort owner has been consistently supportive of the Lunkers. Susie is always welcoming, goodhearted, and tolerant. Our yearly pilgrimage wouldn’t be the same without her.

I have been a part of the Lake Lundy Lunkers since 1981, Missed a few years here and there but NEVEREVER had a CROSSWORD or ANYTROUBLE from any member of the management on the grounds, in the store or otherwise… Susie is Doll, and a charmer, I could not imagine her being cross with even the most unruly of guest. The prior negative comment??? I’m very confused, you must have ran into a hungry bear…

Review for owner of Lundy Lake Resort: My husband and I got a site in the Forest Service campground in Lundy Canyon. We had checked out the resort earlier and met the owner briefly. Later, we parked across from the resort to watch the sun set over Lundy Lake. Then we headed back to the campground and parked at the restrooms of the campground. I was in the restroom and my husband was in our car. He noticed a car driving down the main road, which saw our car, and then reversed all the way to the turn off, then drove up to our car and told him to roll the window down. He opened the door and she said«do u know why I’m here?» my husband didn’t, she started going off about how we took showers in her resort! She wouldn’t listen to my husband try to explain we had gone down to the lake to look at the sunset. She told him he was lying and that he should at least admit that we had used the showers! Then she left. We decided not to stay at the campground since we were in plain view of the road even though we had already paid for the site. We were afraid she might come back and slash our tires or something since she had already tracked us down earlier!!! Yikes! What a sad ending to our day, the canyon is so beautiful too! I’m glad we didn’t stay at her resort and we don’t recommend others to! Lundy canyon campground: 4 out of 5 stars. I put pics in of this. Sites are along river/stream, not all sites are river front but you can hear River from all sites. Some bugs. Nice restrooms. Non-potable water, bring your own water or a filter. The hike from the Lundy Lake trailhead is supposed to be awesome, with cascading waterfalls!

This used to be a great place to come fish. But it’s being ruined by four things — 1: The owner of the resort. 2: Idiot rude photographers. 3: Beavers. 4: Environmentalists. The owner of the resort is a horrible person. She’s rude. She doesn’t keep up with maintaining the place. There are trees threatening to fall on a cabin and even though she could have them removed for free she won’t do it. The last time we stayed there everything was filled with mice and mice feces. She closes before the season is over. No one in town likes her. I wish she’d sell the place to someone who actually cares. The photographers are all SELFISHJERKS! This is a place to GOFISHING! It’s NOT a place to PARK/STAND in the middle of the road! It’s NOT a place to leave your car running polluting the air. They THROWTHINGSINTHEWATERWHILEPEOPLEARETRYINGTOFISH to «get the perfect shot.» They bother those of us who are fishing with stupid questions. They think only of themselves. Every last single one needs to go away and NEVER come back since they cannot behave themselves! People who BLOCKTHEROAD with their dumb tripods or their cars have NO business coming up here. Go away! The beavers are out of control. The native fish are being killed off by them. The population needs to be culled and ¾ths of their dams removed. But the idiots who call themselves«environmentalists» — the keyword being«mental» here — won’t allow forestry to do it. A few years ago 200MPH winds knocked down tons of trees and instead of them being cleared out along with the mess the beavers make they’re being left there because the insane people think they’ll «rot.» No. All that’s going to happen is there’ll be a huge forest fire thanks to all the fuel lying around. Then this place will be ruined for everyone forever.(Though let’s be honest, the Forestry service COULD tell them to shut up and do the clearing anyway.) Then again, at least that would get rid of the owner, the photographers, and most of the beavers.

Unbelievably beautiful area. Last year, I came here at the end of Oct. I couldn’t go to Lundy Pass because of snow. However, fall color was really beautiful. Especially aspens. This year I came back here in the middle of July. A lot of flowers!!! pretty. Falls with plenty of water. Beautiful. Finally I was able to pass the Luncy Pass!!! Lundy Pass is challenging. This is not for timid but experienced. Scrambling part. Rewarding is incredible big falls and reach to Lake Helen.
