Upon arrival there was awesome easy parking — as soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted. I order a churro and a chi latte. The chi latte was ok — nothing to brag about. Now the churro… It was fresh which was amazingly good! It was very authentic tasting and had A duce de leche dipping sauce which Was delicious. Also I like the fact that the churro was made to order. Fresh !!! Also had the fried plantains they were also made to order and tasted great too. I will most definitely be back for the churros

I am not the biggest fan of their coffee but the food and friendly atmosphere more than make up for it. The best Churros I have ever had and their grilled cheese special is AMAZING. Make sure you get the Dulce de leche to dip your Churros in.

Oh man, I love the breakfast burritos here. I visit our warehouse in Fairburn, GA once a quarter, so I make darn sure I take the drive down to Tyrone for breakfast every morning I’m there. The burritos are wrapped tight with a perfect blend of egg, cheese, and chorizo sausage — then they give you a little side of spicy sauce — awesome!!! The coffee here is really good, too. There is minimal staff working, so sometimes you have to have patience if it’s busy, but the help is very friendly and any wait worth it. On a side note for out-of-towers, the drive into this off the beaten path, sleepy little town is cool, too. For Walking Dead fans, you can totally picture zombies roaming around this town … But I digress.

Excellent service, and coffee. My boyfriend and I stopped in on our way home to New Orleans. The barista was extremely friendly and helpful. We decided on muffins for the road, and they were DELICIOUS. Great breakfast choices and a really cozy atmosphere. We would love to someday make it back for the churros and breakfast burritos!

Good coffee & great service! Plus, the food(that I’ve had) is very good — I love their varied menu. So glad to have a non-chain coffee place nearby to go and study. Lots of seating, very clean, and fast, free WIFI.

Finally tried this place today. We had a Mocha, breakfast burrito with chorizo and the omelet avacado sandwich. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

I like that we have a place like this. I first came here when I was tutoring a student whose parents knew the owners. They were really nice. The family is Guatemalan(or that’s what I remember) and I really like the decorations. I have stopped here after work but the hours are terrible. I wish they stayed open later. I’d study here if I could. The coffee and food is really good. I agree with the other Unilocaler that the ambience isn’t that great, but I think it’s okay for the building they have. It’s worth a visit.

Wow, what a great find! The coffee is wonderful and I’ve only had food once there and the breakfast burrito is awesome. I highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out. Very comfortable and cool inside and the staff is beyond nice. You won’t be disappointed for sure.

Coffee and service are great. And you must try the churros, they are excellent. One of the best things in tyrone. We don’t have much but we have a good coffee shop. I only wish the ambiance were better

Great coffee. Consistently good service. Liked the tacos al pastor, the chorizo burritos, and the churros were nice to share. They also have a drive-through window, wifi, and the whole place is very clean. It would be great if you could add a tip to your receipt — tips seem to be cash only.

Love Kakao! The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant for the early morning. Not to mention the price is fantastic. The coffee is fantastic. If you are a true coffee drinker, and you like a good black coffee, the Highlander Grogg is amazing. It is well balanced. Medium acidity, with a maple taste. I’ve never had maple roasted coffee, but I’m a fan. What I love most about the food is how unique the style is. When you visit a coffee House you assume the food is café style, bagels, sandwiches, and pastries, but while all this is available they also have Latin American style food. Cuban sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and there signature authentic churros! I love Kakoa and glad to have an incredible local coffee shop close to home. Final Verdict: Excellent staff, very friendly, great food, wonderful locally roasted coffee, from Columbus I believe, and wonderful atmosphere. Check this place out.

So… First time there and I get a verity of things including a sandwich, coffee, lemonade, churos, hot dog, etc. The food was ok. The hot dog came in this weird hoggie bun. The churos were good but I’m pretty sure they come frozen in a box. The coffee was good. The place itself was nice. Not very comfy as the chairs and tables did not render to hanging out for long. The staff was nice. The only big no no I observed was that the girl in the back was making all of our food with her bare hands and talking on her cell phone the whole time. The idea of that nasty cell phone and her hands on it and my sandwich just grossed me out. I do believe gloves are a health department regulation in Georgia too. Would I go back? Yeah maybe but I’m disappointed in not being able to hang out there for long(I’m sure sitting in those hard chairs for long would not be fun). I also would recommend the cool wear gloves next time. Somehow it makes me feel better.

By far the best coffee south of Atlanta, and probably the second best in all of Atlanta(second only to Dancing Goats). If you use Apple Maps though, you should note they show this place in the wrong location. It’s actually on Main Street in Tyrone next to the gas station.
