I stayed over with a group of friends at one of the cabins, the biggest one Richard’s Retreat. It has a very nice hottub able to fit 8 people comfortably, a firepit and outdoor grill. For rooms, upstairs there is a bunkbed, and two queen beds. The downstairs has its own separate room with a queen bed. There’s a full bathroom upstairs and a full bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is very nice and modern. It was stocked with all the utensils, pans, pots, plates that we needed. There was even a coffee pot with packaged coffee for us to use. We cooked all of our meals while staying there and the kitchen was set up to serve our needs. The owners were helpful and accomodated my reservation. There weren’t many bugs outside, although we did have the firepit going. Only tip I have is to bring materials for the grill and firepit(charcoal, wood, lighter fluid and newspaper, lighter). The cell phone reception isn’t good out here, but they tell you that upfront, so don’t be shocked. It’s a great location. We went hiking at the nearby Crabtree Falls and went peach and blackberry picking at a nearby orchard Dickie Bros.

Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Tony’s Place(the one I stayed in) was clean, with the amenities you need for a mountain getaway. Located near Crabtree Falls and a portion of the Appalachian Trail, it offers good access to a variety of outdoor activities. The whole area is filled with ladybugs, but they’re harmless so no big deal.
