My family (parents, sister, wife, etc) has been going to Eric Johnson for almost 15 years now. We don’t trust anyone else… especially with those hard to diagnose issues/​problems that occur from time to time with any vehicle. Eric is essentially a one man shop… he checks you in, does all the work himself, and checks you out. You know the old saying… you get what you pay for and you will always get quality work at Johnson Automotive. He will explain what is wrong and walk you through everything.
I moved away for a few years and it took me a while to find a mechanic even half as good. I absolutely hate going to the dealer and having a «service specialist» check me in who has no clue about cars other than upselling unneeded fluid flushes and 30/​60/​90/​120k mile «tune ups» and never getting to speak with the actual mechanic.
Do not let dealers scare you… Eric Johnson (and other independent shops for that matter) can fix and repair ANY MAKE AND MODEL car… and with a lot less hassle and money than the dealer.
