One of the best barbecue places around. I have eaten here a few times already. My go to dish is the sliced brisket, and it is so tender! All the fixin’s are fresh and the sides are just like momma made them! Don’t get me started on the hot rolls, they are phenomenal. Will definitely be back, and would recommend anyone to come visit here.

No military discount, funny the manager had a face expression of being dumbfounded as if the question should have never been asked. BBQ tastes like it came from a buffet. No magic props to it. Don’t bother to order TOGO. The servings are meant for a new born.

Our Favorite BBQ place when in town! Never disappointed. The green beans are my favorite! The brisket is bomb! most of the chicken was excellent but the breast was on the dry side… nothing the sauce couldn’t fix! The bread is crazy fantastic. Its a quick and easy stop for lunch or dinner… no long waits on food!

First timers… service was very attentive. Had lunch special with brisket and all side you can eat with drink. Brisket with sauce was good. Enjoyed Mac and cheese, baked bean and cole slaw as sides. Warm rolls were delicious! Husband had pulled pork… he wished he had brisket. Pulled pork was tender. Meal was more than needed for lunch. Overall, good food and great service.

BBQ was gross. Sickly-sweet, no kick, no flavor. Meat was dead. Like, really *dead*. Could have been fake meat and it wouldn’t have made any difference. Fried Okra — salty as all hell. Obviously not a home-made batter or fried in-house. But rather re-heated frozen poop. Salty poop. Would have been better in a bar, ’cause I could have ate them while drinking a beer. Coconut cream pie — nice. I enjoyed it and appreciated it. But overall, I don’t expect to come back if given a choice of restaurants and takeout.

This place is terrible! Driving through Tyler with the family and stopped in for dinner. The prices are expensive. I had the Beef Brisket which was dry. The BBQ sauce is Carolina-BBQ and was bad. My husbands ribs were not any better. The sides were green beans that taste like they came out of a can and baked beans with almost no flavor. It cost extra if you wanted a baked potato(with how much everything cost already seemed ridiculous).

The service is fantastic :) They yell and holler. Always have fun. You walk down the line and choose what you want. Really easy. The food is good, but pricey. Get the chicken or turkey. Juicy and tender goes well with the sweet sauce. Allllllll the way woah! –rip

I got the beef brisket. It was carved as I walked by the station. It was tender and juicy. The rest of the food is buffet. They serve no alcohol. The prices are reasonable. It is a good place for lunch.

3 options for beer — very very bland and ordinary buffet. Not worth the 9 bucks.

Good but… A little pricey and the ribs really weren’t the falling off the bone kind. However the bread was terrific and the ribs were still pretty good. The beef was moderately tender but dry. I’d come again but probably order chicken.

I’ll admit it: I’m a BBQ snob. So, if you’ve eaten too much of the greats in your life, you’re going to hate this place. My dislike of Spring Creek was twofold. One, I don’t like to stand in a cafeteria-style line unless I’m going to experience pure barbecue bliss when I sit down to eat. That didn’t happen. Tough ribs FTL. Furthermore, I am a klutz and trays and I don’t get along unless we’re gonna stick them under the back wheels of a front wheel drive car for maximum dorifto lulz in the parking lot. Also, food sitting out under lights isn’t so good unless there’s lots of turnover to keep it fresh, and Spring Creek doesn’t always have that. Two, why would you ever, ever, ever, EVER have to eat mediocre chain barbecue with the likes of Stanley’s and Country Tavern RIGHTHERE? Oy! No. Just no.

Not much of a red meat eater but visiting some friends in town and they swore by it. All in all it was some dang good brisket. Good value and a right in the middle of town close to the mall.

Been here a few times while visiting my grandparents and I love getting all you can eat sides and the rolls are amazing! The meat is great and since it’s all served cafeteria style you eat as soon as you pay for your food. Great place to take impatient children, that’s for sure. Love it here!

Second visit, got the chicken instead of the brisket… much better. Juicy, great flavor. The rolls are great, and really enjoy the green beans and coleslaw. I take a pass on the mac and cheese and baked beans. Definitely will be back next time we’re in the neighborhood.

If this restaurant was called the«Spring Creek Sides and Roll Company», this would easily be a 5 star review. And that’s because the green beans and the mac and cheese I sampled were both outstanding. The yeast rolls were delicious too. The barbecue, on the other hand, was just OK. The lean cut brisket(which I’m assuming is the«house cut») was cooked perfectly, but had almost no discernable flavor and not much of a «bark»(or carmelized rub) either. The link sausage was a dead-on replica of a store-bought Eckridge sausage with a finely ground filing, a casing without much bite, and was mild enough in taste to be eaten for breakfast. The barbecue sauce was tangy and sweet, but I thought I sensed some ginger in there too. A little bit on watery side. Overall, it was decent but not great. And that pretty much sums up my feelings about this place: Acceptable. If you’re coming here for just the sides alone, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. If you came for the barbecue, though, you’ll leave with a feeling that it could’ve been much better.

Spring Creek Barbecue!!! This place was very clean, Easy to locate, lots of parking… The ribs are very good and they have a variety of them. As far as the service, the line went fast and the people are friendly. It was the first time for all seven of us and we choose this restaurant based on the reviews written. We all had the ribs and none of us were disappointed! Fresh rolls hot out of the oven offered by the baker every few minutes!(The baker was very easy on the eyes, too!!! Guy’s, you’ll see! LOL) we’ll definitely go back… Go check it out the ribs are very good.

OKBBQ but nothing super. Good homemade rolls which are distributed throughout the meal by a lady walking around with a basket of rolls The brisket was so-so; I thought it too chewy. The ribs were very tender and smokey. The sides are pasable. An OK place but doesn’t compare with Rudys in Tyler.

Cafeteria style BBQ. The smoke gets you in and then you choose your meat, they serve it on the plate and you serve yourself the sides, including your BBQ sauce so you can get it on the side or on your meat. Fresh rolls hot out of the oven offered by the baker every few minutes! This is a great place to eat for any age!
