They were pretty swamped when I visited for dinner. I even had a weird experience where I went to the restroom(but didn’t want to leave any of my personal items at the table, so I took them with me). The restrooms were clean & well-maintained, nothing remarkable or memorable about them(which is great!). When I returned to my table, they had some miscommunication between the wait staff and the bussers, since the bussers had taken my chips, salsa, green sauce(classic yum!), & my glass of water. It was before my main dish(some cheese enchiladas, which were delicious & vegetarian-friendly) arrived. Upon my return, the staff was apologetic & brought back water, chips, salsa, & green sauce. But since my main dish arrived, I didn’t really need those(except for the water). I think I also had dessert, & it was good. I think one«complaint» I had was when I needed a refill of my water, my server had to take the glass away to refill it, rather than bringing a pitcher of water to refill my glass at the table. It didn’t take very long for her to refill it, which was good, but if I’m eating spicy Tex-Mex food & my water is taken away, I must put my eating on hold until I have water with me. I’d like to go back & try some other night when they aren’t as swamped, other than a Saturday night.

Not the same ol’ Casa Olé. They have changed their menu up and it’s 100x better than ever. Give the tortilla crusted chicken a try. It is really really good.

This place was just awful. The food was crap. queso was yellow liquid. service was abhorent. We are new to TX and expected a whole lot more. Sadly this place is very close to home and we were hoping it would become our go to place for tex-mex. It was basically tex-crap on a plate

A favorite restaurant of mine when we pass through or stay in Tyler. Great food and service. Queso and fajitas are a must! Add this to your list of eateries if you are in the area.

Disgusting. Really, that’s the only word needed. The«green» sauce was more like a grey sauce, I tried one bite, no flavor… I couldn’t bring myself to eat more, it did not seem safe for human consumption. The salsa was flavorless. Honestly, I didn’t feel anything I ordered here was safe for human consumption, I had the chili relleno, not good, not palatable, I had two bites and left, did not get a to go box, they can keep that disgusting mess. The place was pretty much empty, which immediately sends up a red flag. Don’t go here, for the sake of your own health, stay away.

A great family restaurant. I enjoy the spinach enchiladas. But mostly I love the home town atmosphere. I recently took my daughter to celebrate her acceptance letter to Texas A & M. She is the first in my family to go there so it was a major day in her life, and mine. While there I told our waiter what we were celebrating. Later the manager came over to congratulate her and tell her how proud he was of her hard work.(We had never met him) he then comped her meal. Needles to say my daughter felt very special at her celebration. Also, all the wait staff have«honor our troops» on the back of their shirts. The food is always delicious as I’ve tried many things on the menu. Thank you casa olé for making my daughter feel so important on her day!

I called in a order and arrived in 5 minutes the food was cold and the salsa was very watery. The enchiladas were falling apart i couldn’t really even eat them the sauce on them was also watery if that makes any sense. The only reason i gave 2 stars is because the person who took my order was nice and professional and the green sauce i orderd was good like always. I dont know if i cought the cooksbon a bad day but i probably wont be returning for awhile.

The only good things I can say is the wait staff is really good and the chips are warm. The food was bland and tasted frozen. I would not recommend it.

My in-laws love this place, but to their discredit, they are not foodies. I’ve tried to like it, but Casa Olé missed the mark on each visit. Yeah, sure, it’s fast, and there never seems to be a wait, but I’d rather wait a few minutes, knowing the food will be worth the wait. The prices– not sure why people say this place is cheap. I think they’re on the pricey side compared to their Tex-Mex competitors. I’ll try not to return, unless its on the in-laws dime.

Went once, will never go back. I ordered a chicken breast stuffed with spinach, and my server brought me a chile relleno. I asked him if it looked like a chicken breast to him and he said it did. Luckily I like chile rellenos. My husband, who is SO no picky about food said his entrée was horrible. I was excited about the green sauce, but I thought it looked like paint and had no flavor. Blech.

Pechuga de Pollo is my favorite entrée although it isn’t even on the menu. Long time customer here. Many people love the green sauce, it isn’t my favorite. They have the BEST soft drinks. Don’t know what is different but delicious.
