Ordered take-out(lg cheese pizza, loaded calzone & mild chicken wings) last night. Cheese on pizza was very thick & had a strong taste for mozzarella, the crust was completely cooked & there were bare areas with just crust. The calzone was slightly over cooked & the taste was so so. The chicken wings were good & I will order those again. Otherwise, I wouldn’t eat here again.

Only thing good here is the calzones which are hit and miss. The regular pizza is way too expensive and has way too much cheese with way too little flavor. Not to mention the service is super slow.

I liked Bruno’s! Their pizzas, lasagna, and fettuccine are awesome! Yea the portions are massive! I was eating on a 12inch pizza for myself for about 3 days… haha. They PILE those toppings on there.

I was in town on business and got hungry a little earlier in the day that usual. The pizza joint that was closest to by hotel wasn’t open yet so I went to the next local pizza place. I think I should call the place that wasn’t open yet and thank them because this pizza is absolutely wonderful. The crust is thin and tasty. The sauce wonderful. The toppings… TONSOFTHEM and cooked perfectly. And to top it all off, their wings were pretty good as well. Fast and friendly service topped it all off perfectly. I will, be sure to stop in here every time I’m in Tyler.

I can’t speak to their attempt at Italian dishes, but that pizza, tho — very good.

My favorite lasagna, ever. Little semi-dive. Best Italian food in town. Huge portions and everything is homemade.

If I could give no stars, I would. I’ll never go here again, terrible all the way around. The salad came out with all the cheese clumped in a big ball, it had obviously been pre made and the cheese got soft and then hardened again once refrigerated. I got the meat ravioli, notice I said meat, they don’t even bother to define what kind of meat on the menu… it was gray, that’s all I know. My food came crammed in a much too small dish with the sauce plopped on the top… the bottom raviolis had no sauce and I couldn’t get sauce on them without dumping my food all over the table. Speaking of sauce, it tasted like plain canned tomato sauce… no flavor and the raviolis were obviously from frozen. Oh, the bread, almost forgot about that… which should tell you something… it was chewy and cold and was not eaten. Now to the service… the waitress brought our food and then said her shift was over and we had to stop eating to pay for our meal… she assured us that the employees coming on shift would take care of us… we were not approached or helped again… it was as if we were invisible. The place was empty except for us, now I know why.

I lived in Chicago for over 10 years, I only ate dominoes, little Ceasers, or pizza hut if I was desperate and even then not often. So most of the pizza places here to me are just selling cardboard with some nasty sauce in it. Brunos is different. The sauce is made fresh, and you can taste the difference. They only sell a super thin crust and a thin thick crust, lol. But I don’t complain because it is a really good pizza. The only pizza place that I will eat here in town. The pasta leave a lot to be desired, but coming from Chicago, im a bit biased. If I didn’t know any better, then im sure I would like it. I usually order ahead and get it to go, they don’t deliver to my area even though I live with in walking distance of the place. But since it is a 6 min drive for me I can live with picking it up, when I have eaten in the place was empty, but the service was still slow and kind of unhappy to serve new comers. The regulars got a smile, conversion and faster service. Why I usually order ahead and pick up. But the pizza is worth the crappy service, which says alot for the pizza.

I went there with a party of five at 8:45 on a Saturday night and they turned us away. They«reserve the right to refuse service»… Would NOT recommend this place

no speakie english, then you don’t deserve my business. they couldn’t even SAY the WORD BRUNOs, nor could they understand what the word menu means. Businesses like this need to be boycotted OUT of business people. Out of a desire to be fair and thorough, I went to their other, south location… ugh

The pizza is SO great but the service is mediocre. I still highly recommend it for the fantastic food! Try the wonderful Italian sausage.

I have traveled to Tyler for work for about 9 years now and, eating out every meal, have eaten at most of the restaurants there. Bruno’s is definitely the favorite for pizza. I have actually left highway 20 and driven into Tyler to feed my family Bruno’s pizza. I have never ordered anything else there, sorry. Guys in the office I visit actually use Bruno’s as bribes/currency.

Yum!!! My brother brought us here b/c it was one of his favorites when he lived here(about 10 years ago!). So we had high hopes … and Bruno’s more than met them! We were a little bit surprised and worried by how empty it was for a Friday night… and we are a lot more surprised at how empty it was once we had tried the food! I highly suggest their delicious calzones — you can even get them with a wheat crust! Be careful though they are way too much for one person — unless you’re cool with having calzone leftovers. It’s just big enough for two people. The calzone dough was so good! And they put the ingredients on top as decoration(and to remind the chef which is which, no doubt). It also comes with a very generous side of amazingly delicious marinera sauce — yum! The employees were super nice in addition to the food being so great — what more can I ask for?

OK food with good prices. I had the lasagna which was tasty but very overcooked. The salad wasn’t worth it though — a large bowl of iceberg lettuce with a few sliced olives and a pepperocini on top… too much lettuce.

I’d give my right arm for a Meatball Sub from this place. It’s one of the few Taste of Tyler Restaurants that I crave and miss the atmosphere of. It’s a true gem of a restaurante!

This is a local pizza joint. Their menu is very cheap so we were just ordering everything. We started out with cheese bread. It felt like 2 loaves of bread. Like 8+ pieces for 5 bucks. It was a steal! We got an 18 inch for 3 people to split. That was just way too much food. Warning: the sausage is not like the italian sausage balls you’re used to but cut sausage slices. I also ordered wings which were 4 bucks for like 8. They were decent too.
