For many reasons, this rock shop should get a 5 star review. The mineral, rock and fossil inventory here is very good with a variety of fair price points (e.g., merchandise for all buyers!). Everything is neatly organized, and there’s a lot of none-​rock merchandise (e.g., rock-​themed playing cards, notebooks). Great lighting and all kinds of paraphernalia (e.g., tumblers, blacklights). Huge bonus: They feature lots of Lake Superior agates! The reason for 3 stars? The shopkeepers’ sour attitudes. I shouldn’t spend $ 100+ and be the one to say «Thanks» and «Have a nice day.» Nor should I feel stared at or ignored when I speak to the owners. (I’ve shopped here a few times.) I highly recommend to my fellow rock enthusiasts, but don’t expect lots of smiles.
