Don’t drink the water, I asked for clean cup of water 3x. The food is too greasy, you will leave the place with diabetes

The restaurant is like no place else! Huge portions, fast service, fresh taste. Not gourmet, but you are in Twin Lakes, not Lake Geneva. The décor is plain and worn, but the walls are jammed with an eclectic mix of religious, patriotic, and fishing messages. God bless Manny! Less than ten minutes from the Bannon Lodge.

Manny cooks the most delicious breakfast or lunch you will ever eat right in the restaurant! You will take food home and the prices are very reasonable! Don’t miss this tremendous experience!

Crowded local breakfast joint in Twin Lakes., the size of a postage stamp inside. Friendly slice of America. Huge portions, good coffee.

I ate lunch here yesterday. This was my second visit. I had a cheeseburger and fries. On my first visit I had a bacon cheeseburger. I didn’t get the bacon this time because there was just too much if it. It was piled high with bacon. Yesterday I sat at the counter so I could watch my food being made. Manny is a machine, several orders at once, arms and spatulas flying. Great entertainment. My half pound burger was done just right. Dripping juice and fat down my arm, the way a diner burger should. It was really very good. The fries were also very tasty. A cook can easily ruin a burger, but not here. Manny knows what he’s doing. The atmosphere is fun, cramped and filled with regulars. I will definitely be back. Breakfast looked huge and good. Can’t wait to bring my wife.

Manny’s is your typical Wisconsin«no frills» restaurant where you can expect the following: GREAT food, HUGE portions and reasonable prices. It’s a popular place, so be prepared to wait. There is often a line out the door depending on the season or day/time. You’re also crammed in pretty tight here. But once you’re seated, your food is to you FAST. Waitstaff is always friendly. Manny is a like a machine at the grill. We have only had breakfast here and every time it is great. I’m a fan of their french toast with the cinnamon-type icing… it’s soooo addicting!

Giant food portions are well worth your money. Scrumptious and quickly served. The couple of times we have been there the service has been prompt and the waitress was very nice. I like that you can see the food being prepared in front of you at the griddle/stove. It is always super busy in the morning hours and tables are close together, so be prepared for that. My family doesn’t mind.

Your average neighborhood diner. Decent food, decent service, nice lake view outside. You’ll eat here because there isn’t too much around.

This place is fantastic, food out this world and prices are great We have been going here for the last 3 of 4 years, always a got to place when were out for a ride/drive in the country. Its a real treat to watch Manny at the griddle. I’m hoping a piece of food will of fly off and I’m able to catch it I’m my mouth(as sometimes stuff does go airborne) The only warning make sure you get plenty of exercise the day after as he portion’s are huge ;-)

Been going to the Snack Shack on summer weekends since before Manny took it over, and I’m so glad he did! We love to sit at the counter and watch him work! He, and his two metal spatulas, are very impressive on busy weekend mornings. Everything is delicious and the portions will leave you full for the rest of the day! Manny’s is as big a part of Twin Lakes as the water, boating, summer homes, the Aquanuts, and all the other great things that make the Twin Lakes area so very special! Hope Manny’s is around for many more years. Just visited on Labor Day for the last time this summer, will miss his breakfasts over the long winter… see ya in 2016!

Best pancakes around: Crispy surface, tender inside, batter isn’t overly sweet and cakes are the size of a dinner plate. Blueberry ones come loaded with good quality berries. Everything at this crowded lakefront diner comes in giant portions, and Manny is a ninja on the grill. You may wait a few minutes for a table on a summer weekend, but your order will come out almost instantly. Hash browns are crispy but also on the greasy side. Homemade biscuits and gravy available until they run out on weekends.

Quintessential Wisconsin lake town greasy spoon of a diner. Oodles of cool/odd/holy artifacts lining the walls, friendly no-nonsense staff, and no-nonsense not healthy but quite tasty(and yes, ginormously portioned) grub. Today was our first visit here; We ordered and I kid you not our food arrived in about two minutes time — & the place was hoppin’! Good coffee served in nice big mugs, too! We will be back!

My go-to breakfast place when I’m in the area! DISCLAIMER: The food is delicious and plentiful so you are going to wait. You are especially going to wait on the weekends. If you don’t like waiting, eat somewhere else or go really early. It’s a small restaurant and they only have so many tables. The food is delicious and inexpensive. I typically get the french toast with the cinnamon drizzle because it’s the only place I’ve seen with it, so I take advantage of it when I’m here. The omelettes are truly massive no matter how many eggs you order which is wonderful because why not?! Leftovers for later! For the price, the quality of the food you get is worth it. Manny really is a kitchen ninja. I recommend you try this place at least once!

We eat here a few times a year. Manny serves large portions so be ready to loosen your belt. The food is on the greasy side. Probably good after a night of drinking. We go there knowing the server takes care of the entire restaurant. You just sit where you can find a seat as this place is packed. So to sum this up, large portions, greasy food, packed diner, and quick service. Oh… and the blueberry pancakes are delish!

It is what it is and don’t expect anything more. The breakfast is good and it is massive. Anyone who leaves hungry has bigger issues. My son got a short stack of pancakes and all three of us probably could have shared them. I had the corned beef hash and have to admit it was a little raw, but I’d didn’t ask for crispy so now I know. The eggs are doubled — so if you ask for one egg — you get two. Two eggs = four and etc. It is a very popular place and always crowded. We will definitely be going back for a good, quick, homemade greasy spoon breakfast!

Oh boy! Make sure you wear your elastic waisted pants when you go to Manny’s. No matter what you order, it will be enough food for you and a friend. My buddy and I split a Denver omelet, biscuits and gravy, and a side of corned beef hash. There was enough left over for 2 to-go boxes. The biscuits were great. Not too light and fluffy, but not too dense. The gravy had plenty of sausage in it and tasted amazing. They weren’t afraid to load up the biscuits. The omelet is most certainly more than the advertised 2 eggs. I would venture to guess it has a half dozen eggs. The cook sure does know how to man a griddle. I am fairly certain he could produce a quality breakfast for a small army with his eyes closed in minutes. Sit at the counter for the entertainment of watching him cook. The place was packed while we were there, but there was not delay in getting our food. I would definitely recommend this place.
