Wonder Valley Fence And Supply

We recently bought a homesteader cabin in Wonder Valley CA, on 5 acres. Once we put our pool in, we quickly realized we needed to put some solid fence up, for privacy and to help block the 90 MPH winds that are quite frequent in the high desert. Trying to find a trustworthy, reliable and experienced fence contractor in the area was a bit of a challenge, as many people out there seemed a bit «sketchy». People would agree to come over and give an estimate, and never show up. Etc…
By the time I called WV Fence, it was in the evening after closing and I thought I’d just leave a message. Instead, a lovely woman answered the phone and told me her husband, Albert would call me the following day, as he was still out on a job. Sure enough he called the next morning and we set up a day the following weekend for an estimate and Albert showed up exactly when he said he would!
We walked the property and after we explained we wanted corrugated metal, with nice looking wood trim and showed him some reference pictures, he was able to quote us in 20 minutes. He also told us a bit of his history and how long he had been fencing and his stories are extremely entertaining and quite hilarious! Even though the quote was more than we wanted to spend, I felt like I could trust him to do the job right. He also did a few extra things we needed at no charge, like knocking out some old fence with huge concrete footer and took everything away, along with some bonus grading around our pool!
Within a week of our quote, the construction began. It would have started sooner, but they where really busy. They showed up with a crew of 5 guys and a lot of trucks and equipment. I couldn’t believe how fast they had the post holes dug and concrete poured in 2 feet deep into the dirt. They had all the metal poles up in one day, 160 feet of fence and 8 feet high. One week later, our fence is almost complete. They are finishing the cedar encasements that cover the metal poles. I am really surprised they could do this so fast for a small family owned business! I told Albert initially that it wasn’t a huge rush, but he is extremely professional and got our job done in a timely matter :)
All of the guys on the crew where extremely polite and courteous. We are only out there on weekends and the 2 days they where out there when we where home was an absolute pleasure. Of course it’s always fun having Albert around, as he is a real hoot!
Not only am I thrilled with the work, I feel as if I have found friends that I can trust. I know if I need any kind of work done on this house at all, I can call them and they will give me a referral to someone they know and trust.
They also build all kinds of enclosures, from tennis courts to dog runs! They service not only the desert, but most of Southern California and even parts of Arizona, because people know they do excellent work! Don’t hesitate to call them, you will be so happy you did!
