I have had this company out to the house many times over the years; it was a great little business. Jesse, an employee, is very capable, an efficient worker, and has a heart of gold. Recently, John retired and Sean took over. When I called the last time, I wanted more lights installed in a room that is being built. They messed up the scheduling, but recovered handily from that. Sean is young and doesn’t have the chops his pop has. Sean is technically proficient, but doesn’t know how to listen to the customer until he understands what is going on. Sean couldn’t figure out how to tap into the existing electric nor would the job pass code when it was finished. I called Jesse and he and John came out and took a look. They talked with me and listened to me. Then Pop gave Junior instructions. They took out all of the work they did on their prior visit and redid the job. In the end, although they could not plug the holes they left in the beams it looks splendid and works well. I don’t like the drama of renegotiating a bad job in the middle, when I want work done. There was drama, they could have been total jerks, but they were not and that was good — total jerks on top of drama is time in Hades — this was just Purgatory and I am now happy in my new enlightenment!

So, I contacted Wonder Electric via a web service request form and received a callback two days later. Since the issue was in the guesthouse it didn’t really matter. When they came out(four days after my original inquiry) I showed the repairman the outlets that stopped working and explained that I had been landscaping and was worried that I cut a line. I also showed him the breaker box and told him that I tried resetting it two to three times. He reset it again and went inside. Sure enough they started working. He said that I didn’t push it far enough when I reset the breaker. This entire experiment lasted six minutes and for this he charged me $ 85. Of course, it could not be free but $ 85 to reset a breaker. Shame one you Wonder Electric. Obviously, I will never use them again and will certainly never refer them to friends or neighbors. Very short sighted. Short term gain, long term loss.

I contacted this company with a question and to receive a quote on some services. They were extremely rude and very reluctant to give me straight numbers on prices. Coincidentally, that week I was driving down Hwy 62 and a man driving a «Wonder Electric» truck nearly ran me off the road trying to cut me off. He laid on the horn and got right next to me, flipped me off while screaming«F*** YOU!» and took off at a completely unsafe speed. I will never do business with Wonder Electric.
