Good food but make sure you have 2 – 3 hours time cause the service is so slooooooow… On Saturday night

Super slow service, only one server working. Food was sub par. Prices weren’t worth what is served. Don’t plan on returning.

The lemongrass soup here is absolutely amazing! The best I’ve ever had! The roast duck curry was fantastic as well. Slightly spicy, but not too much. It was too much for me to finish in one sitting, so I had some for lunch the next day. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. We came here on a Friday evening and we were one of three parties there(one was seated outside on the patio). Very quiet place. The server was extremely pleasant. Based on previous reviews I was expecting a long wait for my family’s food(2 appetizers and 3 entrees), but our food came rather quickly actually. Great surprise! I would definitely recommend this Thai place to anyone in the area.
The food was actually pretty good but service was terrible. There were only two waitresses. It was difficult to flag someone down. Food took too long to come. When the check came we asked the waitress to split the bill. She said okay, but after 20 minutes came back and said it was too difficult since she had to figure out who ordered what. We told her that she should just split the bill evenly. She then went away with our cards only to return more than 30 minutes later. We literally could see her racking her brain over the math at the cash register. In the end, it turned out that she accidentally charged one card twice. We were too annoyed to even ask her to fix it because who knows how long that could have taken. We concluded that the poor girl was just stressed. They need to hire more people. Improve your service! Food is good so it’s a shame…

If I could give a zero star, I would. Terribly long wait. They only have one waitress serving all the tables. We waited for like 20min and didn’t even get any water. We left without being served at all and felt sorry for the waitress.

The food was very fresh. Teriyaki beef — 5 stars Egg rolls — 3.5 stars had an odd taste, but the sweet and sour sauce with it was amazing. Side salad — good although I prefer romaine over iceburg, very fresh though. Comes with peanut sauce dressing. If you like mayo based dressing it would be a 5 star for you, but for me I like mine more peanut-y with a different base. Sweet and sour chicken 5 stars! Yumm! Chow mein, 4 stars again had a bite to it that tasted a little off, but good! After living in Hawaii it’s a tad bit hard to match or have better Thai food then there, but for the desert this is definitely a place to go to! Service slows up when they get busy, most likely due to the hand written checks that they have to add themselves, but the servers are very pleasant and polite. We will be back here!

Tom Kar and the Massaman. Very delicious! Makes me want to try others on the menu. Maybe next Joshua Tree trip!

Food is delicious, service is super friendly! If you actually want your food spicy you may have to emphasis it, they go on the lighter side for spice. Otherwise great visit

The best Thai food I’ve had in a while. Yellow chicken curry was delicious, pad Thai was awesome, the Larb was fantastic and the mango sticky rice was superb. A must try after a long day of hiking!

Waited about an hour and a half to get my food. It looked like there was only one cook in the kitchen on a Saturday night. Other guests and myself were extremely frustrated. When we finally got our food it was mediocre. Not worth the wait.

Service was extremely slow… on a Saturday night. Looks like there were three people working: one person was working the kitchen, one bussing, one doing other. It took us 1.5 hours to get food. They should have warned us before we sat down. Food was decent, but not worth the wait, especially after hiking.

We came here after the big hike in Joshua tree national park. The food itself was good, I enjoyed green curry. However, the service was extremely slow. We arrived at 6 p.m. Food came 7:30 p.m. I finished in 10 min, because I was so hungry. The time we finished paying? It was 8:30 p.m. Everything took 2 hours and 30 minutes!

Fantastic little find on our way from Palm Desert to Las Vegas. Our family’s favorites: the Tom Kha soup, chicken potstickers(all hand-made), and the Panang Curry. Seems like a family operation… our waitress was such a sweet lady and seemed genuinely happy to see all of us! We wished they delivered to Cleveland, Ohio. Coconut ice-cream was some of the best coconut-flavored deliciousness I’ve ever had.

Undrrstaffed –however, I’m sure I would’ve loved the food had we stayed. Waited 10mins for someone to seat us. Only 1 waitress in sight. and then a line started to build behind us

Must try the Pad Thai! Also, the curry and chow mein were very tasteful! Even though there are very little food options in the area, this is definitely a great spot… not in comparison to the nearby spots but because their food was full of flavor and authentic, IMO! They do offer takeout, just in case you’re not interested in dining here you can call in your order. They box up your meal, lined with foil so that it arrives nice and warm when you get home.

Great eatery in this area! Needed a good meal before we drove through the mojave desert & it came through! Family owned business that is well decorated, atmosphere was peaceful & enjoyable. The staff were warmhearted & welcoming. Street parking seemed to be the only option but I might be wrong. The restrooms are accessible with a key in a hallway in the building where the restaurant is located. The food was mouthwatering & visually appealing. I’m a huge fan of yellow curry & I wasn’t let down. The pad Thai was amazing according to my SO. The fresh spring rolls fell a little flat for me but the homemade peanut sauce was spot on! The chicken fried potstickers were well prepared with a crispy exterior & a flavorful filling. Stop by after a treck in Joshua tree or any great trail/national park in the area to recharge!

We have been waiting one and a half hours and have not received any food. A white couple walked in and was seated only 30SECONDS before us/they are done eating now, have paid and are even boxing their food. We are sitting here sipping ice water.

We had the Roast Duck Curry, Cashew Chicken, and Kung Pao Shrimp, and all were very good. The Riast Duck Curry was especially good and something I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Service was good, atmosphere was nice, the place was very clean, price was good. The Duck Curry would get a five alone, but the other dishes were pretty standard. Good place for sure.

I was based in 29 Palms for a week for work and after doing a bit of research online and on Unilocal,I added this place to my bookmarks. It looked pretty decent from the photos and reviews, so I decided to give it a shot… I called my order in(som tum(papaya salad) and pad thai w/chicken) for pick up and they quoted me 15 – 20 minutes; very nice lady who answered the phone. I got there a little while after that and my food was already packed up nicely and ready to go. The interior of the restaurant was nice, they were playing some relaxing Thai music and there were a few aquariums around in the dining area. There were a few people eating and one waitress, but she seemed competent and took their orders and rang me up quickly and I was out in no time at all. Back at the hotel I tried out my food. The papaya salad was very good… a little sweet(I guess they don’t use much of that shrimp paste) but it tasted fresh. The only thing is, there wasn’t much papaya… there was lettuce at the bottom to create the illusion of a lot. But nevertheless, still yummy. As for the pad thai, it was delicious! The flavor tasted home-cooked and there were ample pieces of chicken in it. Not much bean sprouts or other veggies in it, but still really good. I had enough to last me almost another meal and a half! I liked that the food tasted fresh and non-greasy. This is probably my favorite place to eat in that town and will be back if I’m ever around those parts again!
