Morning’s Nursery

Wow!
I called several times before I went there, as last time it was closed during business hours.
They don’t update their answering machine, and last Friday they weren’t picking up.
As they were suppose to be open, I chanced going there to get a couple more trees.
When I showed up, there was one customer finishing up.
The young man in charge made no attempt to help me as I wandered around.
When I went to the register, where he was sitting down and holding his phone, I noticed a new sign; «Cash or check only». Previously I had used a credit card.
I asked why he didn’t answer the phone, as he could have told me to bring cash or a checkbook. He told me he was too stressed out. I mentioned that I had called several times and he responded by telling me to get off the property, that he wouldn’t sell me anything. He got fairly mad, kept telling me it was private property and get out.
When I asked what I had done wrong, he said he didn’t have time for my BS, as he had a lot on his mind. After calming him down, I asked where the nearest bank was, as I do not live in 29 Palms. I said I would go get cash if he would get the two trees ready.
He did help me with a bag of fertilizer, to stabilize the trees in the trailer.
If the species of tree was available elsewhere, I would not have gone back.
Now I won’t go back at all.
