Pretty outrageous that the owner is so inflexible. Twain Harte Lake is now closed indefinitely because the dam wall cracked and THVR will not refund us or work with us at all. They are totally inflexible and I will not rent from them again. We paid close to 2k for a cabin with lake membership and we can’t even visit the lake.

We recently rented a canon in Miwuk through THVR and the whole experience beginning to end was great. Booking was a piece of cake. The cabin had the keys in a lockbox which eliminated the extra step of having to drive into Twain Harte to pick them up. The cabin was clean and very nice. We had a minor problem with the cable being out and Margie did everything she could to get it fixed. The customer service was fantastic.
We got home Sunday and received our deposit check on Thursday. Pretty quick turn around time. I would definitely rent from them again.

My family has been booking cabins through THVR for years. They have always been helpful and responsive to our questions. The entire process is very easy. Big plus for getting more cabins on wireless Internet.
