The whole foods of the area. Great organic fruits and veggies. Also great meat and fish. Thank you!!! You made our week so enjoyable.

It’s Tuolumne County’s «Whole Foods Market». Great variety of many products. Quality foods. Fresh produce. I really like this store.

This market has a wide selection of gourmet & imported products seen nowhere else. Want British wine gums? They have them. Want every flavor Chuao Chocolate makes? I have to restrain myself every summer during the 1 – 2 weeks I shop here.

The workers are very friendly and they have a good selection of food. The biggest issue are the prices. It’s very expensive. It makes sense to charge more because Twain Harte is a vacation spot, but for us locals, Twain Harte market is only a convenient place to pick up a couple of items that were forgot in Sonora.

This market is great! Nice salad & hot food bars. Bakery has decent items & there is a decent selection of everyday necessities. Two thumbs up!

I don’t usually shop here, but their sushi ISAMAZING. Better than the local restaurants. I occasionally have it for lunch when I am up in Twain Harte.

Love shopping here! Lots of fun and different items to choose from that I would not normally see at home. The people who work here are great, very friendly and always have a smile. They have the best meat, but it is on the expensive side, which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. We have a cabin here and come up a couple of times a month. I rarely bring groceries with me as I love to shop in the Market.

Great little store for specialty items, but I wouldn’t shop here for regular groceries unless I wanted to break the bank. Prices here are very steep and you’ll save money by using the gas to drive to Sonora to shop instead. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well-stocked. It irks me a bit that they advertise«fresh from the oven» and«homemade» items in the bakery and deli, which is misleading. Everything in the bakery and deli is pre-made. For example, though the bread is baked on-site, the bread dough is pre-packaged and, while the cakes might be decorated on-site, the actual cakes are pre-packaged and frozen. The deli tamales and similar deli items are all pre-packaged and frozen. This buying of pre-packaged items affects the quality a great deal, especially when you expect fresh for the prices charged by the store.

Cute and convenient but steep prices. My husband is the real meat eater and just couldn’t rationalize any purchases that day. The fresh veggie selection was limited. I would go back to fill in specialty goods but it doesn’t make sense to shop here regularly.

Whoa! This establishment is hell of expensive. Way off the chart. We are local people but have opted to drive to Sonora for our groceries. When this came under new ownership I don’t know what they were thinking, but for example it was $ 3.69 for a half gallon of milk. I would like to support this local business but their prices are way out of line. This not San Francisco. Buyers beware.

A very full-featured store with a nice deli and plenty of inventory. The folks are always pleasant and helpful. There’s even a section for the folks who miss England’s green and pleasant land.

I was actually pretty impressed with this place. I think some things were over priced, but there’s not much you can’t get here. My family owns a cabin in town, and I usually but good and bring it up and have to hassle with ice and coolers to keep stuff cool for the drive. I’m so glad I stopped in, I know now that I can literally get anything I need up here. Great selection of fresh meats, salad bar and they were even making sushi!

This was a really nice market. Lots of specialty items. We are gluten free, buy organic, local and primarily eat paleo, so were happy to find many things that worked for us here. Wish the produce section was a tiny bit better, but, it’s not bad and can be supplemented with farmer’s markets during the growing season. Very impressed by the cheeses(we dont’ eat them but we used to and they have an extensive selection), and the large wine section. Some organic meats. They carry Clover dairy and Strauss ice cream and a ton of gluten free stuff.

Prices are higher than down the mountain but a VERY good deli that makes awesome sandwiches. Upscale variety of foods as well if you’re into that. What I love the most… the beautiful tall pines that surround the store. When it’s snowing, it’s such a fun place to get warm, grab a cup of coffee and get your grub to take up to the cabin. We really enjoy going there.

Stopped in for some produce to round out a barbecue dinner. Yes, prices are a bit steep, but this can be your one stop grocery store. Butcher shop & deli provided some delicious beef, and side salads. Fresh green beans in the produce department were great. Bought some Highlander Grogg coffee beans on recommendation from my daughter… when I drink that while back home in the city, reminds me of our weekend away, that’s worth five stars right there!

This is a really nice market with fresh produce, tons of natural products, and specialty items. When we were there they had BBQs set up out front and were selling items to go, which is a great dinner alternative to a restaurant take out. They also carried lots of organic, dairy free, and gluten free items, much like a Whole Foods would have. Overall a clean, nice place to shop but a little on the pricier side.

This market is a delightful surprise for this small town. They offer a decent selection of specialty foods: gluten-free, dairy-free, prepared sushi, etc. For specialty items their prices are reasonable. It is always nice to go into an establishment where the employees seem happy to be there. Almost every experience I have had includes at least one or two employees going out of their way to make sure I got the help I needed.

The only market I frequent when I am in Twain Harte. They have a great selection to choose from and the people are very friendly there. The prices are average, but not bad at all. There isn’t much else in comparison nearby, so I would highly recommend Twain Harte Market.

The absolute best supermarket. I live in San jose and wish we had it here… all we have is crappy Lucky’s close by. By far, by FAR, the absolute best olive bar I’ve ever had the pleasure of partaking. Love the fresh food… found stuff I was only able to find at specialty stores here at home… When you’re on vacation, we like to splurge a little… better with imported cheeses and meats instead of a can of spam.
