I came in tonight from out of town a bit unsure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and was instantly seated and helped. Had the fonduta it was great, large portion. Had the scallops and risotto for dinner both were cooked perfectly which rarely happens. My friend had the fettuccini and asked for sausage. They were more than happy to accommodate the request. Dinner came with soup or salad we both had the clam chowder it was perfect very creamy. The service was spot on. Our server was assigned to a large group and she still found time to check on us. All of the servers worked together and there was never a time we wondered if someone was going to help us. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Something I haven’t seen at a restaurant in a long time.

A third time, no luck. Instant seating means everyone else knows better. You have to ask for butter, it’s delivered on the second request, but by then the bread is so hard it hurts. Just praying the rest of the meal goes better. It didn’t. The salad is endive, I asked for other lettuce and fortunately got it, but by then, my attitude is poor at best. The salad dressing is tasteless, literally. My previous reviews raved about it, so they have watered it down since. David’s steak is tough, salmon was undercooked, the first end piece was slimy. Can you imagine what the center was like? Appetite gone. The owner’s response, «That’s how cook it» was not helpful. Are you kidding me?
