Llori and Jnelle nail it, in their reviews! …Sunrise fools you at first. trust in what reviews say below and mine… Avoid them at all cost (because it will cost you not only in money but agony!)…This place (where we had our Mom) is only after is your money, very few their care for your loved one… They screwed up the billing every time! And where just not good and anything but taking you love ones dollars!

My parents were residents here in 2012. We left for a number of reasons, but did return in 2013, feeling more comfortable, knowing how things were run. Unfortunately, they had hired a new director, which for the next year and a half, when in her office, the door was closed and blinds pulled 90% of the time. Never bothered to introduce herself or welcome any family members that came to visit the residence. The nursing staff consisted of one nurse, (other on maternity leave) who could not complete the monthly ISP reports. We did not get any health updates for more than 8 months. I also tried to clarify my fathers medication instructions written by his physician, several times, that they continued administering incorrectly. Those who need assistance with eating, very seldom get help with their meals. Most of the staff, med techs, housekeeping and laundry, were absolutely the best. Unfortunately, management was very poor.
The billing was atrocious from day one. My mom was in her own room in assisted living, and my father shared a room in reminisce, and at the time we left, they had several rooms empty, waiting for new residence. Because the billing was so horrible, we ended up with a $ 17,000+ refund… Just sayin

Assisted living at Sunrise of Tustin offers zero assistance to senior citizens. Each task has a price associated with it. Nothing is free. Be ware of this place. My mother was left for 10 days without a shower or change of clothes. After I complained they left her again for 7 days without a shower or change of clothes. They did, however, charge me for bathing and helping her dress! The Department of Social Services needs to be involved in their operation.
