They don’t serve alcohol or food. Other than that it’s a clean place, good ac, decent music selection.

This place has the most updated song list out of all the karaōke places I’ve been to. Was pleasantly surprise to see Rihanna’s «Work» on the list only a few weeks after it was released on the radio. The song is harder to sing than it sounds. They also have a touch screen where you can type and search for specific artists and their songs. A little pricier than other places though.

A little on the pricey side but they have really upgraded the equipment! So many current songs to choose from now. Lana Del Rey songs… omg. That’s where I’m at all night. Lol I wish they served food and alcohol. That would make this establishment unstoppable. I guess we can always get our drink/grub on at Honda Ya right down the street beforehand. Can’t wait to come back! It’s a great way to let out stress and frustration. Screaming and being silly with friends!

I’ve been here twice and I already think this karaōke is way better than Plush at Diamond Jamboree. This place is not as crowded(which is surprising) and rooms are more spacious compared to Plush. Yes, it is a bit farther, but there is no wait to get a room. This is right next to Tanakaya and very close to Hondaya, which are great places to eat then go to karaōke! Prices are decent and rooms are clean! There are a variety of songs and I love how much Disney songs they have! You can sing with the artists’ voice or without, which is pretty cool if you forget how the song goes. The only downside is that there are two machines inside the room. One is for English and the other for Chinese/Korean/Japanese. The Chinese/Korean/Japanese machine has a weirdly high pitch and is a bit hard to sing with, so I would stick with the other machine. Overall, a great place to sing your heart out with your friends or family without the high cost or wait!

The place is actually pretty cool. It’s a pretty small space, but it has a lot of cool features like touch screen playlists and good sound systems. I thought it was a little difficult to find exactly what I wanted but I was able to make do. What I didn’t like– According to their flyer they have«Happy Hour» from 4 – 7 pm Monday-Friday. So I did some quick math. Assuming you have to finish your mandatory hour around 7 I should get there by 6 to take advantage of the awesome price. I got in there at 6:02. It was my first time there, by the time the attendant finished walking me through the system it was 6:09. They charged me full price. When I asked about the Happy Hour price they told me that since I was not there BY6 I got charged full price. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. It was 2 minutes past 6 when I walked through the door. It kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Might not end up coming back.

Somehow, some way, I’ve been here twice within the same week — I don’t have karaōke addiction but my friend does… *cough* but I don’t mind going since it’s been great seeing songs that I normally don’t see at other places like Plush. Yes, the place and the rooms are a little smaller than compared to its Irvine competition, but honestly, the sound system, music selection system, and overall effects here is really good. They offer both touch-screen and the old fashioned booklet way, but I haven’t had any difficulty navigating or finding songs on the touch screen(which I notice that happens at Plush from time to time). If you can make it to their Happy Hour, it looks like it’s really worth it! But even without HH, prices aren’t too bad. $ 28/hr for a small room(1 – 4 ppl). We stayed a little less than 2 hours and it came out to be about $ 15 per person for a party of 3. However, if you want to sing the whole night, I think the price might be the same at Plush. Only downfall that I see so far here is that they don’t serve alcohol, but if you’re just itching to sing your heart out — intoxicated or not — check this place out! They even have tambourines, little drums, and even special VIP rooms for bigger hosted parties available!

I have been here four times and the service is pretty good so far. One thing I liked the most about them is that they have a lot of new songs and they kept updating it like every week or so. You should ask them to let you adjust the stereo system of your room like mic volume and echo volume for the best experience. Plus, you should come here on weekend for 50% off happy hour(from 2pm — 7pm) and sing till you drop(I always took small room and it costs $ 14/hr for happy hour which I found acceptable). One thing I hope they would improve is the video and music quality of their songs, some songs are obviously broken.

Who doesn’t love local karaōke with a good group of friends?! We came here Friday for a birthday maybe about 10 – 12 of us and it was a blast! There is a HUGE selection of songs to pick from and the price was decent for two hours. I just wish they served alcohol there or beers at least. They give two microphones with cloth covers since people get these things pretty close to their mouths, gross. Busy parking lot but parking is easy I would come back in the future for sure.

The place is nice, and really clean. They even give you a disposable microphone protector. Selection of music in English is ok.(good enough). Now… it’s more a sing along than a karaōke. They have the actual music video with the lyrics on the bottom. It’s nice, but you will sing along with the original artist.

When one enters, one’s party gets an entire room. The rooms here are very soundproof while the door is closed. The remote control for the primary device is in Korean, so it’s pretty hard to figure out how to operate the device if one doesn’t know it. The song offerings are mostly Korean songs but they also have songs in Mandarin, Japanese, English, and some other languages. There are two devices with different selections on each device that can be chosen by an input switch. There are also some songs available for kids like songs from recent Disney movies(inclusive of Frozen). During 4 – 7 they offer happy hour pricing, although this resulted in my party wanting to stay for too long without looking at the clock, so I kept reminding them after every song. Since I was invited here, my host didn’t tell me if their rates were market value or not. It is priced by the room and one pays after finished with their room. Other accessories available in the room are tambourines, LED flashy lights, a multicolored disco ball with laser zapper, and a table in the middle of the room. You know what I like about this place? You don’t get criticized by anyone if you sing badly.

Recently came here to host our annual Christmas exchange with my co-workers. We got the party room(about 14 people in our group). $ 60/hr for the party room. It was fun, lots of 90s pop, hip hop, and rap songs. Also they also have a lot of current songs. No alcohol though. We had brought some beers and the guy came in and told us we had 5 minutes to finish or he had to confiscate them.

Cannot believe that I didn’t know about this place sooner! Great location with lots of good eats nearby! My friends and I actually walked here after having kbbq. Yum! Anyway, Shout has great recent English song selections, as well as updated Chinese songs, too. Happy hour is soo worth it, as our bill came to $ 17 for 4 ppl for 2 hours! Yay! Staff is friendly and super helpful, too! I am definitely coming back!

Hmmmm… Did the place change owners? Prices skyrocketed since the last time ive been here. Also incorporated are these«new» machines… that didnt have any songs we wanted. There is a system to change from the new machine to the old machine though. The old machine, however, didnt seem to be updated either. I mean come on, no songs by The Fray??? PLS. Shout needs to hire some english-speaking staff. I think the guy we had was a trainee but his instructions(in english) was beyond incomprehensible. no offense. Luckily I know how to speak korean. Otherwise, great venue, nice booths, and DOSETAMBUORINESTHO. Come to work out your lungs and rekindle the fire in your soul

The new touch screen equipment is great and easy to use, I am planning on doing my birthday party in here! I would definitely recommend this place, really great establishment!

Not expensive. The rooms are spacious and come with lights and tambourines. Great environment. Open late and no need for reservations. Great song selections and they are constantly adding new pop songs. I’ve always had fun at Shout.

NOTE: Some people here are saying that for happy hour its 7 $ for unlimited singing. However, I guess they raised the price and now its 9 $ unlimited singing from 4PM-7PM weekdays and weekends. STILL A BARGAIN, that’s like 3 $ per hour. I think this is my new favorite Karaōke place to sing! PROS: –VERYUPTODATESELECTIONOFMUSIC — As of their October 2013 newly added list, they already had songs such as Lady Gaga’s Applause, Katy Perry’s Roar, & Eminem’s Berserk. There is also an extensive list on KOREAN&JAPANESE music, which kind of puts Max’s Karaōke to shame especially since they are suppose to have more recent Japanese songs. –CLEAN venues, and the rooms are cute with little disco tiles on the walls, the bigger rooms provide drums and a mic stand for the singers. –PRICEISAFFORDABLE during happy hour, I do remember that if its not happy hour, its about 25 $ per hour for a room for 4. Forgot the others. –THEYPROVIDEWIGS lol… if you guys want to be a little quirky with your performances. –LOCATION…I don’t know it this would really count, but it is near the famous CREAMPAN bakery :) CONS: –VERYWEAK Chinese music selection… I guess you should just go KTV it up in the SGV if you really want to sing Chinese music. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place, and then you can also probably head to Snow Station right next door :)

When Plush is too crowded, Shout is the way to go. There is a decent amount of song selection and the prices are decent. While there aren’t too many new songs, they still have some, and it isn’t too bad. The songs they have are still relatively new and, hell, you can always sing oldies for good ol’ sake. The interior is really nice and clean. They have tambourines if you really wanna get funky. They provide you with two mics. I feel like coming with a group of four is really great, which is what I did when I recently came with friends. If they had even more song selection, I’d definitely give this place five stars. Will be back!

I hold Shout Karaōke near and dear to my heart, and for good reason: I pretty much spent(and am continuing to spend) the good majority of my teenage years here. TOO many memories made at this karaōke place on weekend nights, with middle school and high school friends with whom I go way back. But let’s get to the review… I usually come here at night, with about 3 – 5 people. I don’t think I’ve ever come with more than 5 people, so I tend to get the small rooms, which are $ 25 an hour. If you’re feeling short on cash, definitely come during Happy Hour(s), which starts at 4PM and ends at 7PM. At just $ 7 per person, this happy hour deal is a serious bargain! Gotta love the cute little cloth wrappers they give you to sheath the mic, for all you germaphobes who loathe the thought of ingesting your friends’ spittle every time the mic gets passed around. As for song selection, Korean music is definitely the winner here, with most current kpop and Korean ballads updated! For folks looking for trendy American mainstream/billboard music, you probably will be disappointed. But definitely a wide variety of English songs are available for you non-Asians out there who love to karaōke– if you don’t mind jamming out to some slightly dated songs. A well-deserved five stars for this fine establishment!

I only go here for the Happy Hour on weekends :) I forget when it actually starts but I believe from 4PM and for sure ending at 7PM, it’s only $ 7 per person. Super cheap! And they have decent songs. They also give these little«shower caps» for the mics so you know if people are all SPITTING into the mic, they’d spit in that: P And bonus for Utada Hikaru’s First Love song ^_^

I don’t go karaōke-ing often, but this spot has a pretty good feel! It is tucked in the back of the same plaza as Cream Pan, so there’s plenty of parking if you come past 9ish. What’s good about Shout is that it is really clean inside(from what I could tell) and they have a super extensive listing of songs in English, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Philippinese… yes, it says PHILIPPINESE!!! Another cool addition is that they have a whole bunch of wigs you can use during your American Idol practice! I can’t carry a tune one bit, but neither can a bunch of «singers» on the radio today. Giving me a wig to use makes me just as awesome a performer as some of them!!! I took a star off my rating for Shout because they DONOTALLOWALCOHOL. And if you’re going to sneak some in, you’d better be slick, because there are large windows and glass doors the workers can look into!
