Creations is similar to all the other custom pizza places that have popped up recently: Pieology, Urban Pi, Blaze Pizza. A few things stand out however; first, they have beer and wine and sweet happy hour deals. Last time I was there, they were doing buy one get one free for beer and wine. They used to have beer on tap, but I’m told they are getting rid of that. Second, the service here is awesome. The guys and girls that work here are all super nice and helpful. Lastly, they give a discount to uniformed workers! Cops, fire department, nurses, etc. This place is near my house and is my favorite for pizza within Tustin.

Co-workers wanted pizza for lunch, so we decided to check out Creations Pizza. We received a couple 2-for-1 coupons, so we ended up getting 3 pizzas, 4 sodas, and an antipasto salad for about $ 30. WIN. I ordered the antipasto salad and was pleasantly surprised. I’m usually apprehensive about the quality of salads at pizza places, but Creations did not disappoint. The lettuce was crisp, the veggies were fresh, and the portion was more than generous for $ 8.95. If I can offer one minor critique — mix the salad before serving, so the veggies and meat are dispersed evenly and not clumped at the top. I didn’t try any of the pizzas, but they looked delicious. I’m a fan of thin crust pizza, so I’ll definitely give one a try next time. Staff was friendly and the service was quick. Couldn’t ask for more. Good value + Tasty food + Friendly Staff + Nice Interior = 4 stars.

Yum!!! We have been wanting to try this and pieology out. Lucky to say we came here and we will come back. I work at grace harbor school next door so I see this place and always wanted to come. You get to pick your own pizza and whatever toppings you want, unlimited, and bam! Individual pizza. They have fresh veggies, tons of toppings, and several sauces. We also got salads and drinks. The pizza was huge, salads were crisp, and everything was great… even the workers were happy and cheerful. I would suggest one thing… RANCHDRESSING for the salad. I asked for ranch, since on the creations board it had said the blt pizza with a salad and ranch dressing, but they said they don’t have ranch… was this a lie? is it only used for this particular pizza? Not sure, but some people don’t like Italian or Caesar dressing.

Reading the not so stellar reviews on Creations I thought it would really suck. Some points are very true, very young kids working very slowly assembling the pizzas, but they are really nice and by the time we paid and sat down, they brought our food, so actually it was pretty fast in the end. Nice selection of toppings and sauces, I loaded up on veggies and pesto as a base, excellent. Also created my own salad(not on menu, I asked) very fresh, nicely made, again with pesto, I was in love! The guys got a few pizzas and also enjoyed them, $ 8 each and everyone gets what they want, what more could you want? Located in a nicer strip mall, pretty building, easy parking, on par with all the other create your own pizza businesses that are popping up all over SoCal, we had a great lunch, I’ll be back should I be in the area again.

I am very pleased with Creations Pizzeria. I work in Tustin and we found it on Unilocal and wanted to give it a shot. Very similar setup to Pieology, but I think Creations tastes better, and the toppings don’t fall off my pizza. We tried the California Creamin’ and made our own. Very good portion to either share or eat yourself. And for $ 8.95 you can’t go wrong! We are pleased and will be back!

David and I really wanted to stop by Tustin Brewing Co. but when we arrived, it was packed full of people and my hungry stomach couldn’t stand the 30 – 45 minute wait for a table. So, on a whim, we decided to check out Creations Pizzeria, which took over the SaladWorks space that I never tried. Having never been to Pieology or those other make-your-own-pizza a-la-Chipotle places, this was a new experience for me. On the chalkboard menu, the word«calzone» caught my eye and I went straight for that. They asked me what toppings I wanted and then popped the little calzone into their pizza oven which reminded me a lot of Quizno’s — in one side and out the other. David ordered an Italian sub and went through the motions of building his sandwich. As the calzone and sub were getting toasty, we ordered beers(sadly only 4 beers on tap and I went with the Blue Moon) and we got our number, paid, and found a seat. A nice young man delivered our meals and I immediately tore into my calzone. The dough was still a bit raw in the center — I imagine that the open-face regular pizzas that I saw everyone else had were crispy and wonderful but it was my bad for ordering something that probably required more time in the oven than one of the pizzas would. David enjoyed his sandwich and overall it was a decent meal. Would I come back? Maybe, but I think I’ll try a few other pizza joints but this was a good alternative for a quick meal since Tustin Brew was so packed.

This spot is legit! I came here on a lunch date w/my girlfriend. We both aren’t from the OC and were looking for a decent pizza spot so we ended up here randomly and left with no regrets. We had a(create your own) pizza and a sandwich(the Italian grinder) to be specific. My girlfriend created her own pizza, which was pretty much everything they had to offer! Overall, long story short; the food was delicious, the customer service was friendly and accommodating, and they played great music. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the OC and looking for a great pizza spot.

While waiting to get my car maintenance done, my boyfriend and I were starving, so we decided to get something to eat. He wanted something like Pizza Studio in Cerritos, so I Unilocaled Pieology since we’re in the OC. To my surprise, we found this little gem in Tustin(which also happened to be the closest create-your-own pizza spot to my dealership). I did my hw and checked out the menu before hand, which ended up not mattering since we completed changed our minds by the time we got here. We opted to create a pizza and get the Hot Italian Grinder sandwich. First off, any place that offers Alfredo sauce as a base wins my vote hands down. The BBQ sauce they offer is usually used more as a drizzle rather than a base, and after eating the pizza I can see why. It’s not a thick hearty BBQ sauce; it’s more of a slightly sweet slightly tangy light sauce which was still really good as a base. I think I’ll use Alfredo sauce as the base for the whole pizza and then add on the BBQ drizzle next time. The Hot Italian Grinder had a fresh Italian Hoagie Bun(delivered from the OC Bakery) which was delicious by itself. All the flavors came in the sandwich came together rather nicely. 2 slices of pizza and half a sandwich is definitely more than enough to keep this hungry hungry Quimpo more than full and satisfied. Good thing my boyfriend was even more hungry than me and killed the rest of the pizza and the other half of that sandwich. :) But as everyone knows, there’s always room for dessert! I asked the store owner, Scott, which dessert he recommends and he told me to get the s’mores bar even though they sell more of their blueberry cheesecake. He took the plate of the s’mores bar to the back and brought it out with some whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. HOLYCRAPBALLSITWASAMAZING!!! Scott went to tell us that it’s a family friend who makes them from home. More brownie points! I like how he promotes local businesses too. Creations is definitely a store to watch. Great service, great food, great experience. Guess I gotta find more reasons to visit the OC to come back here!

«Suck it, Pieology.» reads one review… mmm, I think not. I had such high expectations for Creations, but they fell so short, it’s laughable. Almost. Where do I begin? I dunno, the terrible 90’s music I can’t deduct stars for, since I’m just not a huge fan of all that stuff, and that’s personal taste. But the service, the blandness of the food, the fact that our jello-esque cheesecake was forgotten. ding, ding, and ding. Like Pieology, you’ll go in, order your pizza from a list of suggested pizzas, or you’ll create your own and they’ll make it. $ 9 for a pizza, and $ 2 more for a gluten free crust. Be prepared for an ok-bordering-on-dull tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese … crumbles? that taste plasticky. No bueno. The artichokes were briny, but I tend to like that anyway. But it all starts to fall apart there, in their unique conveyor belt oven. Your pizza may come out nice and crispy, but unless you can suck it all down very quickly, it’ll turn to sog super fast. My friend and I were less than impressed. They forgot our cheesecake(seriously, we’re two fluffies, how do you forget our dessert??) and my friend goes in to ask for it(we sat outside) and it comes out, looking very pretty. But as we take bites of it, this look comes across both our faces… jello pudding cheesecake :/ The drink fountain was broken, so we had water, but the guy at the counter just acted like it was no big deal — kinda they way the pizza makers acted too. Sorry, Creations, but I can’t see myself returning, not when the competition is so close by now.

After a recommendation from a friend I took my family to Creations for lunch. We got the grinder and were blown just as our friend said we would be. The meat is high quality and the flavor explosion from the warm mozzarella, creamy mayo, tangy Italian dressing, tart tomato, silky roasted red pepper and the crunch of an unbelievable toasted roll… it doesn’t get much better. That bread needs to be put on the menu with a French bread pizza option. It alone was to die for! I hope things go well for this business. It’s a cute shopping center but that spot has rotated a lot of business! Best of luck. We will be back!

This is the epitome of bad pizza. It’s the subway of pizza places. It has he ambience of a dental office waiting room. The whole idea of this place is anti pizza. To like this place is to say you like An automat sandwich over a corned beef sandwich at Canters. This pizza place is a corporate idea There’s no warmth. It’s computer pizza. I’m from Chicago and love pizza. I’d rather eat a pap johns.

We have been to Creations twice now and loved it both times! Both my boys beg to go back there for their alfredo sauce w pepperoni pizza(our own creation). There are never any slices left over because they eat every single slice! I’ve tried the hot italian sandwich, the california creaming, and my own creation. Each time, the pizzas came out perfect and tasted divine!!! This is going to be our new pizza spot and I will no longer need to wait the crazy hr+ wait at pieology! Def MUSTTRY!

I tried to like this place; I really did. I always take into consideration the area and demographics as well as the time opened for a place. This place was a disappointment. For starters, on a weekend at lunch, they had one person doing ALL the pizzas. I’ve been to Blaze and Pieology and never do they only have one person doing all the dough/assembly/ordering taking. Needless to say, the signage that said you would wait 5 minutes was a joke. We didn’t even bother with a custom pie; we just went with the house combinations. The pizzas arrived and they must have taken Unilocal reviews to heart because this was the crispiest pizza I’ve ever had. It was like a tortilla that had been toasted and then lightly sprinkled with sauce and cheese. I think it was like a crunchy tomato-cheese flatbread or cracker. The only resemblance to a pizza was the shape. I think pizza is best the closer it is made to the traditional way like they do in Italy(so not a conveyor belt). A few of the pizzas I walked by were burnt or a shade off from burnt all around the edges. This was also the first pizza place I’ve been to where the cheese and pepper jars are made of plastic. I’m definitely not a fan and the cheese jar I handled was sticky. The pepper and cheese wouldn’t come out of the top. When I opened the cheese jar, the lid was totally coated in cheese. Weird. Last but not least, for the quality, they definitely can’t charge this much. Almost every pie is $ 8.95 with the exception of a super simple just cheese one which is $ 7.95. This is more than Pieology and Blaze and their pizzas are significantly better and more pizza-like(and come out way faster). I’m giving them a two star review because I feel bad for them(being new and not a chain) and wish them the best.

Suck it Pieology! I gave this place a second chance and it was great. Crispy crust, everything tasted great. Their pizza conveyer is the only kind that is made that uses a pizza stone. They had a sign showcasing it’s technology. I am guessing because of the reviews complaining that it is not a wood fired oven. I think when I had it last time it did not heat up enough as they just opened. Tonight the crust was awesome and the toppings and everything worked really well together. Lots of young white kids working. I’m a dude and not into dudes or anything like that. but, there was this one teenage white boy that had pretty long hair that was like Farrah Fawcett. He had the most beautiful highlights. I was mesmerized and almost could not finish my order. I had to remember that it was a dude and snap out of it and eventually did. They were all nice. I liked how the manager was there checking each pizza for quality control. He would add cheese or toppings after the kids put it together. Maybe they are distracted by that other kids beautiful hair? We will make this a regular place now.

My boyfriend and I have been to MOD, Blaze, and Pieology several times. We were curious to try this place out. The Smokehouse specialty pizza was flavorful but the crust itself was very soggy. My boyfriend made his own pizza and his crust was soggy too and not crunchy at all. The line takes a long time to go through. It is a bit inefficient the way they make your pizza compared to other places, which ends up taking a while before you get your pizza. Also, I think they should write what’s on your pizza while they’re making it instead of when you’re at the cashier when you may have forgot some of the ingredients. All in all, tastes good but they need to make adjustments to be quicker and crispy crust.

Another build your own pizza place. Seems to be the trending eateries popping up everywhere now. But does this place compare to the others already out there? I’d say almost… For $ 8.95 you could build your own pizza or choose the preset signature selections on their menu. Not a bad deal for a personal size pizza that is way better than your typical chain joints. Dough freshly rolled to order. Toppings of your choice, but seems to be a little skimpy on how much they give you. Then they put your pizza on a conveyor belt that rolls it into the oven to bake. I got the California Creaming since it was Friday and I had to pass on the meats. The pizza tasted okay, nothing too special or anything that made my taste buds dance… The main downside is that the pizza is not baked in a stone oven which would have yielded a smoky and crispier crust. Also, the staff isn’t trained enough since they don’t know the menu very well while prepping the pizzas(took a little long getting the pizzas made) and when serving them at the tables(server didn’t know the names of the pizzas). Speaking of tables… they seemed to be understaffed as well since we had a difficult time finding a table to dine on as there were a handful of tables that needed to be bused. I agree with what my man said that this place is a decent alternative for when we feel like a create your own pizza dinner in the area until the new Pieology opens up at the Market Place.

Is this the pizza corner of Tustin? Across the parking lot is Tustin Brewing Co., and across the street is Z Pizza. Not that this sets the bar extremely high, but there are options. Walking in, you get into a line and build your pizza from the ingredient options. Sauces, meats and veggies are all laid out. It looks like they are still working out some of the kinks int eh process. The gal making my pie was scaping the bottom of the pan of sauce, and then when she was all done, she asked for another pan. Refill when you run out so it does not look like you don’t have enough. I had olives and red onions, and then the gal suggest garlic, which went well with the other toppings. I also had beer, a Blue Moon Hef., which came out of a tap located somewhere in the back and didn’t have a head on it. They also had no lemons, which they should have had for he iced tea as well. I think I was the first person to suggest this. The pie itself was good, but small and it could have used more toppings. These are basic veggies, toss on good handful, or at least ask if the customer wants more if you are concerned about overpowering the palate. Same with cheese. More please. It was good enough to warrant a second chance, but at $ 10+ with a drink, it might be more than my usual lunch bunch would want to spend. Let’s hope they work out some of the kinks and get a good base of customers. I would really hate to see another restaurant fail in this building.

It’s awfully tough to cook a loaded pizza on one of those conveyor belt ovens that’s usually used for toasting sub sandwiches. You need a brick oven with extreme high temperature and someone to rotate it occasionally so that all sides are evenly cooked. My pizza was horrible — undercooked and soggy crust with cold toppings. It was already bad enough that they gave my pizza to the wrong customer. Then to give me a nasty ass pizza on top of that? C’MONNOW. Downright unacceptable. Not only was the pizza mediocre, but it was $ 2 more than the competition. The made-to-order pizza copycat fad is in full force, but if they want to compete with the others, they need to get their act together. Iesha, it’s just Another Bad Creation(s).

I’ve been to Blaze then Pieology then MOD and now Creations Pizzeria. Well, I’ll drive past all those to get to Creations and here’s why: I like the crust. It was crispy and tasty. They load up on the toppings so it may seem a bit flimsy but it wasn’t bad. I feel rewarded when I get to the edge of every slice! The topping were great. I had the«pizza of the month» called Smokehouse. I’m from Georgia so I know good pulled pork and this was very, very good. Whoever choose the ingredients knows quality. Oh, did I say Pizza of the Month? Yes I did. I’m going back for the pastrami pizza and can’t wait to see what they come up with next. This, in my opinion, is really what separates Creations from the rest. Believe it or not, you can get tired of the same thing even at a «build your own» pizza place… but not here with the Pizza of the Month that brings out ingredients you wouldn’t expect. Can’t wait to go back.
