Why should it take 4 hours to fill a prescription!?! Several times now I have went through the Drive Thru and been told my RX would be ready in 3 – 4 hours! They need to hire more Pharmacist, techs or both! Because that is ridiculous!

This pharmacy at the Walgreens in cottondale is majorly missed up. They are incompetent employees that can’t do there jobs correctly. Not only have other customers told me complaining about there medicine getting lost among other things there are several rude, hateful, and lazy people that won’t even look in there computers to see if your right, that works in the pharmacy. I have had three occasions happen to me within the past month. The first time I had trouble was when I went to get my plaquenil refilled. They told me that I had already come and picked it up last week and that I would have to pay $ 268’oo to receive it again. It was found out a couple hours later that they where in the wrong and what had happened is that the automatic refill was filled on it and not picked up. So they charged my insurance for it that day and did not take it back off when it was not picked up. The second time when it came time to refill my pain medicine. I got it filled on the 21st of last month. I still have the pill bottle to prove it. So that means I have every right to get it filled on the 19th earliest or on the 20th. They told me I could not get it until the 24th. They told me that they have on the computer I waited and didn’t pick it up until the 24th and that is why I couldn’t get it until then. First of all I would not leave something like pain medicine at the pharmacy for 3 days, second of all if I did that, that would mean I would have been without of my pain medicine for those 3 days. I take my medicine like the doctor tells me to, I always have. Anyways after looking back deeper into there files they said that they don’t know what happened to there records and that there computers have been missing up for a couple of days. So I calmed down, And then when I was going to leave my scrip so they would have it for the 20th, she said not to because they where already being accused of loosing someone’s scrip. After that she told me she would fix it and put a note into the computer so that I could come back on the 20th and get my medicine like I am supposed to. Skip to a few days later on the 20th of this month. I go there to get my medicine filled and a different woman there told me I couldn’t get it until the 24th. Once again here we go with the same s — . So the other woman that said that she was going to make a note in the computer never did. And the woman in front of me won’t even look at my pill bottle to prove what I am saying is true. What makes my husband mad is they even told him on the 19th that it could be picked up the 20th when he was there for a different auto refill. They are lying incompetent people that can’t do there jobs and makes the customers pay for there mistakes. We will never go back and we are going to prove everything we said on film. P. s. I love the people up front in the store and I have been friends with most of them for years now.
