Drinks were good. Fries were good. Service was pleasant. But please know, the burger is a pressed by-product. Craving a good burger and we didn’t find what we wanted. We sent it back and got wings. Manager was excellent with making it right. Just wasn’t our kind of burger.

When I visit the area for a game, this is a local favorite. I visited once before and was keenly impressed with their food and service. I ordered a hamburger to be cooked Medium, wait for it. What I got was bloody and while I appreciate freshness — I wanted doneness and a juicy burger. Whoever was at the helm of the grill, step away. Managers take a moment and taste or check the food before it goes out. This type of food can make someone quite ill. I’ll give it another once a round when in town. This place is always packed, so quite popular.

This burger place is totally overrated. Their burgers match that of Red Robin’s, greasy and over priced. The fries aren’t that good and the service lacks as well. If I were you I would go to Hooligan’s or Five Guys.

Solid food, great drink specials. I had the All-American burger, a PBR(Hello $ 2.00 special) and fried pickles(free app w/coupon). It filled me up and got me ready for an Alabama football game. It has a corporate feel, but besides that, a good place to grab food before or after a game. I am sure we will visit again on another trip to Tuscaloosa!

Anything fried at Mugshots is great. The pickles and the steak fries were amazing. The Mudslide was delicious as well. The peanut butter burger was really average. There wasn’t really anything in it besides an average tasting patty and a thin layer and smudge of peanut butter on top. Maybe it’s the fat kid inside of me, but when I usually put peanut butter on things, peanut butter is the only thing I see. I had to ask for extra peanut butter because there was hardly any on mine.

So, if you like your burger anything less than well done, don’t you even waste your time with this place. I asked my server for medium rare, she told me «the best I can do is probably medium.», so I asked for it to be as rare as possible. My burger came well done, it was gross. Size does not matter, quality before quantity any day of the week with me.

Great atmosphere, great service, good food and local beers. If you’re in Tuscaloosa on a busy weekend, you can count on a line for a table but it’s worth it!

We are from Ohio and maybe we just aren’t used to the heavy grease but the burgers didn’t have any flavour. the grease just stole it. We was told this was the best place for burgers. was kinda let down. The beer battered fries though was incredible. Service good as well.

Burgers are huge and they’ve a unique variety available on the menu. I would’ve given 4 stars but the burger was well done(I prefer mine medium) and the bun was very thick and bready. They serve their burgers with beer batter fries which were tasty and crisp. Our server, Christopher, was very polite and attentive.

LOVETHISPLACE! My husband and I went here for the first time and had a great time. We love burgers and this place makes amazing burgers. We shared the Will’s All American Burger that has an egg and some bacon on it. Awesome burger. The buns are sourdough and are a little bit of heaven. The combination of the fried egg, juicy burger, and soft tasty bun made this hamburger SO good. I didn’t want it to end. The beer battered fries are awesome as well. We got a side order of grilled veggies(zucchini, yellow squash, and red onions) and they were delicious. We had a coupon for free fried pickles and those were great. I’ve had fried pickles at other places and they’re super salty but not these. It came with homemade ranch and this spicy creamy fry sauce type stuff. They were both tasty. Definitely will be coming back again and again.

We have a family of 5 and loved the burgers. Fried pickles are a little salty, but still yummy! We will be back.

Great burgers and good service. I like the Hattiesburg, MS location the best, but the area of town this location is in is great. Nice to walk around after eating. If you have not had a burger from Mug Shots, trust me that they are hard to beat. Buns are very fresh, the burger is spiced and has a smokey taste that is one of a kind. We split a burger and fries and it was perfect.

Nice place. I was touring Alabama and had a bit of time before hand to go grab lunch with my mom. We decided to walk because it was nice out. When we got there we realized how much time we had taken up. We ended up having to get take out but staff was very polite(as can be expected in the south right?) they got our food out right away when we said we where in a rush. I got the BLTC(just a BLT with cheese) and it was amazing. I wish I could’ve enjoyed it more than I did running back to the stadium. But this is not any normal BLT. This had 8, yes 8, pieces of bacon. I’m used to maybe 3 or 4. More bacon= better sandwich. I wanted to try the Mugshot burger but had not the time or approval from my mother to attempt the challenge. The mugshot is basically 3 larger burgers stacked on top of each other and if you can finish it within 12 minutes it’s free and you get a shirt! Maybe someday after a swim meet/practice I will attempt this feat but not today. Over all great place with a nice southern charm.

Look, I like the place– I would give it more stars if the burgers were cooked to order(was not asked temp and was well done). A warmed up bun would also improve it. I went for the P. BJ + bacon(pic posted) since everyone talks about it. It tastes like a burger with PBJ on top… grilled veggies were great, and the fries have a lot of seasoned salt. You have to try it yourself.

Great place. We all had burgers. My wife had a great mushroom burger, the son had a peanut butter burger. I had a plain one. Nice staff, large portions, nice ambiance. Close to the university of Alabama. I’d highly recommend it.

What?!? Peanut bacon burger, was different but ended up being quite tasty! However I do recommend getting creamy peanut butter, I tried mine with crunchy peanut butter, and while it didn’t interfere with the taste it was a displeasing texture biting into a nice juicy burger and then tasting the peanut chunks. My swerve was super nice and refilled my drinks without me even asking.

One of the best places in town to get a killer burger. Mugshots never is a let down. Every burger on the menu is awesome(the toppings are always good, too) and the casual, college atmosphere is tough to beat when looking for a bite. If you are looking for a burger — and have an appetite — this is your spot.

The bun was sweet, like Hawaiian roll sweet. The burger was not awesome. Bacon was thin. Fries were weird. The service was very slow. I really wanted to like this place, but it’s just not happening. Deuces, mugshots.

Look. If you like burgers, just eat here. No. Don’t need anymore words. If a friend says«where should we go?» just go here and be done with it.
