Food is always absolutely delicious! I tried the Turkey Hot Brown and it was amazing! The staff was prompt with taking orders and delivering food to tables but I overheard many unprofessional and quite ignorant conversations amongst the staff that were easily audible to the customers. I was more shocked that the manager enabled this behavior with an excuse to me that«they’re always carrying on about that stuff.» Love the food, the staff needs work.

Every time in town must stop in for sweet tea. It is good and not too sweet and the cookies are to die for

My husband and I just left this restaurant 8 minutes ago. He was told that they were closed at the counter when he went up to order. Well, operating hours on a Friday night is, close at 10:30 p. m…it was 9:59! I called into store and asked why wasn’t we able to order. I was told because they were«deep cleaning the kitchen» !!! Blank stare! Well first of all if that was really the case then why not lock the doors and post a sign. SIMPLE. Better yet I am a manager at a store and the best way to handle this would have been normal hours of operation, then the kitchen crew stay after hours to «deep clean» the kitchen.

You know i really want to like this place thats why i gave it a 4÷5… But everytime me and mom eat here… They always give me some cold ass shit… I hate that… The food is good… But its always fucking cold… My mom says she loves the soups and salads… The price is good. But the food never comes out steaming hot… And the fucking cheese on my baked potato is always like turned into a solid by the time i get it

Don’t bother with the online ordering app… it doesn’t work &/or the store didn’t bother to check the order

Basic, slightly overpriced, deli on 15th street in Tuscaloosa. I like to stop in for some chili in a bread bowl on a cool fall day when I’m in town and running late for lunch. Chili isn’t great, but not bad either. Bread is okay. They used to serve a small mint and some crackers with their chili in a bread bowl, but they have been skimping on that recently. I think the value of McAlister’s has decreased over the years, probablly to save a few pennies here and there.

Just another sandwich place. Sure, the food’s ok, but certainly nothing to go out of your way for. Honestly, if you can buy your own ingredients, you can make better food for yourself at home, no matter how much of a novice you are at cooking. Service and atmosphere are nothing special either.

My favorite sandwich place in Tuscaloosa. Great BLTs, clubs, reuben and roast beef sandwiches. The broccoli cheddar soup is addictive. They also have huge baked potatoes. If you haven’t been there you’ll be shocked at the size of the sweet tea. The staff is really helpful; never a bad experience.
