I paid the $ 15 for the half price coupon only to go to the store and find it boarded up, not a sole in site! I’m out $ 15 and will never recommend this place to anyone!

I ordered from Rodeo Chicken Coop today for the first time ever. Delivery was quick but once it arrived I noticed the Coney Hot dog I ordered did not have any mustard on it as it described online. I thought«that’s ok! I have some here. I’ll just put it on now.» The chili was spicy and seemed old like they left it sitting out. The top of it was dry and crusty. I’ve always order Coney dogs & they came with cheese so I’m not sure why this place doesn’t make them that way. I only ended up eating half. Next I had the onion petals appetizer which I liked as well as the dip that it came with, I just had to add salt for some flavor. Lastly, I ordered a pizza. It was a small(14″) pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese & I requested it to be square cut. The pizza was not square cut and I took one bite of it & hated it. I literally did not want anymore of it. The cheese on this pizza is hard, not FRESH mozzerella. It tastes disgusting, I don’t know how else to explain that I do not like the pizza. Let me tell you, I’ve had a lot of different pizza in my life & I have never not eaten it. So this is really saying something. I wasn’t going to call to complain but then I thought about it, I spent $ 30 on a meal that I ate probably $ 6 worth so I wanted to say something & see if they could help make it right… So I called & I described to the first person(a female) that I did not like the pizza that was delivered & asked if there was anything that could be done about that. She asked me to hold, put the phone on hold then a man got on the phone. This man said later on that his name was Jeff, the manager, that worked there everyday from open to close. But let me tell you how this conversation went. I told him I didn’t like the pizza & asked if anything could be done, very nicely just as I spoke to the first person. At first he «put me on hold» which consisted of, I suppose, moving the phone away from his ear because I heard him yelling in the background to someone«we’ve got an online order who said they didn’t like the pizza should I tell them to basically go f**k themselves?» He came back and said, «ummm I don’t understand what there’s not to like about the pizza??? It’s pretty basic just mozzarella cheese & tomato sauce, you’re not giving me much to work with here. everything was made correctly and I don’t see what there is not to like about the pizza. I can’t just send something else out to you.» I said«I first said, actually everything wasn’t made correctly & noted the missing mustard & incorrect cut & then said that’s not what [more/something else to be delivered] I wanted; I mean you could come get the pizza & see I only ate one bite out of it if you want proof but I was wondering if I could get a credit or refund for the pizza» he said«no that’s a prepaid order, you paid with a debit card, I only do those deposits once a week & for me to take cash out, send someone else out to bring u that & take the pizza back then reimburse them for going out there would cost me 3xs the amount» I said«wow that seems like really poor customer service. I worked in a restaurant for 8 years and that would never be the response to an issue. I will probably just never order from there again & leave a bad review.» He said«that’s fine. have a good night.» — He did mention he could take some money off if I called back someday to order something to try to make up for it, but that’s after he was already rude, said the F themselves comment and all that so I didn’t really want to order from there anymore at that point. EXTREMELYRUDE. Never in my life have I heard someone talk like that to a customer. Jeff, I don’t know how long you’ve been the manager but I guess you don’t realize unhappy customers are bad for business. You lose one customer, they write a HONEST review about your place, you lose potential customers, and a repeat customer(which I would have been). But you refuse to refund $ 9 because your pizza sucks so you get to lose more money. It would’ve made you more money to refund me & whatever else in the long run, I guess you don’t understand big pictures. If Unilocal allowed no star review I would give none.

If I was just rating this place on its food, it would have gotten a solid 5! Amazing wings and cheese fries. Unfortunately, after the new owners took over, our order has been wrong every time.(Ordered mild wings two different times and got blazing hot wings). Then, the last time I placed an order, the new owner was rude, didn’t want to honor my credit that was owed me and then tried to accuse me of using an online coupon that was already marked used.(I marked it used as he rang up my order in front of him, but I guess when he went to process it on his end it kicked back. He quickly ran after me and came off with such a rude tone like I was ripping him off). Side note: I started going to Rodeos when they first opened. My family and I dined multiple times, sometimes once a week here. The food and the old owners treated us like family!

Rude employees. Told us we would have delivery by 6:20 we didn’t recieve it until 7:30. Had to call multiple times before we got our good. Kept putting us on hold and giving us a bad attitude when we called. We will never order from here again.

Rodeos has really great food, lots of interesting and tasty combinations, and the man who I assume is the owner is always very friendly and nice. With that said, I have to say that the delivery and service is something to be desired. When I call to order, most times the person I am a speaking to does not know the menu. Although my apartment building can be difficult for some delivery guys to find, the complex is right around the corner from their location, so I would think that their delivery guys would at least know the immediate area. They don’t, so often our food is cold by time it gets to us, so we no longer order delivery simply for that reason. Again, amazing food, a lot of options and relatively inexpensive(seasoned fries are incredible!) but don’t expect much of the delivery service.
