Vintage Lounge and Piano Bar

The atmosphere was very classy. My drink was excellent and the music from both the piano in the evening added to the ambiance. I felt like a classy lady in a bar in the 40s. My drink was cold and later when a guitarist and drummer came in to do their show, my waitress made sure to keep my water filled as I enjoyed the lovely entertainment. I will definitely go back.

The place is very nice looking but that’s all that’s nice about it. The customer service is horrible. The bartender was very rude and didn’t bother helping us out. When we said we weren’t ready she walked away with attitude and she spoke in a rude manner. We got up and left because of this… We ended up going to udder right next door and they welcomed us and gave excelent customer service… Y’all need to train your bartenders to give excellent customer service.

I was charged a tip as the rest of my party covered the tip. I specifically put no tip for that reason. I will be seeking out further compensation for your negligence and the wrongful charges that most people do not notice!

Long line terrible service v neck dress code? Very rude to my friend they need to remember customers are how u stay in businesse.

Poor mention of dress code. My friends and I traveled for 45 min to visit this club and when the bouncer denied us because of our clothing. We asked if he would make an exception since half of our party were active members of the military and flat out in a rude tone denied us from going in. Absolutely do not recommend this place based on their attitude towards our brothers and sisters serving for this country.

Terrible. This establishment not only has poor door staff, they allow small time mafia folk to run the nightlife. Sadly, turlock does not have the largest variety of night life, I will Never return to this establishment as bowing to small town want-​to-​be gangs running after hours is no where I would choose to spend my money or frequent.

Very nice place, great atmosphere. Not full of 20-​something kids. The owner Joe stopped by and said hi. Laid back, not too loud or crowded. Really like this place.

First time at the Piano and we had a great time. We loved the atmosphere and service. Aside from that, I truly respect and appreciate their morals and values. I went in there wasted (pre gaming at home) I wasn’t acting a fool but I was done. The staff was great and was really concerned that I got home safely. That says a lot. It was my first time out in years and simply had one to many. Thank you Piano for making sure your customers were safe.

I am boycotting this place… I am asking what type of person owns a bar and doesn’t want buying patrons at their bar, those who are dressed nice even if they are not in a collared shirt. We who visited the bar would have ran up at least a $ 70 bar tab and you had NO Patrons in the bar. How do you expect to run a bar business? You tell, the nicely dressed individuals (no collared shirt wearers) to go sit outside as if they were dogs, what kind of business does that… I will not be back to this bar. And BTW I had to give it one star to rate it… AGAIN DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!

This is a place for an older (late 30’s and above) crowd. Supposedly there is a dress code here but from what I saw this only applies to certain people. I saw guys in t-​shirts, cargo shorts, and flip flops. Drink tasted funky. Music was too loud. I couldn’t hear the people I was sitting at the table with. Overall okay place, but probably won’t be back.

First off I almost never give 5 stars for anything. So this is pretty high in my book with a four star rating. I really enjoyed myself here. There is a dress code. Sign is posted out front. I was dressed casual and thankfully fit the criteria for tonight. Sat down and ordered a martini for me and margarita for my wife. The martini was great. The margarita wasn’t as strong as they serve at the Udder Place but the atmosphere kicks ass here over the Udder Place. There are the typical strings with tables and a bar and tv’s but the piano player was definitely the highlight! We came just in time as he started at 6:00 pm on this Wednesday I was here.
Incidentally it was fun to see a person wearing a Tshirt from The Udder Place at the bar. The guy that made my drink looked very much like the guy from the Udder Place that didn’t know what high Gravity beer was. It turns out that when this guy at the bar gets up to leave, is the guy from the Udder Place and I’m pretty sure that the guy behind this bar is his brother as they embraced before he left. Small town great folks. That’s the kind of thing I like about Turlock
The piano guy engaged me in conversation after I applauded for one of his songs. I’ll be leaving him a $ 5 tip tonight. This was a fun experience. I’ll be back for sure

The place looks cool, and was busy for a Thursday… But the service sucked, we are acknowledged once as we walked in but never again. I had to go to the bar to order and when I didn’t leave a tip for the waitress, she came back and try to justify her actions. Never again will I waste my money here. NEVER AGAIN!
I should apply to work here because I did more the girls there and with a better attitude.

I would really like to say this place is cool to hang out at but I simply can not. My wife and I wet in on Saturday night and was informed that they do not serve my kind. By my kind I am referring to men who wear hats. They have a no hat of any kind policy. Albeit, I was not wearing a ball cap but a nice golfers cap. If you care to look stylish with head ware GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I will be choosing to not go back do to the attitude of the gentleman who told me about the policy. Guess I will have to find a different place in downtown Turlock who would like my m0ney.

This is a nice lounge to come too and just have a beer or two ive been here a few times its pretty nice and they have a great and friendly staff as well and also a outdoor seating because it could get pretty loud inside or even a little hot so its always nice to be able to get some fresh air.

Nice place, great staff, Decent selection of wine. Was nice for a quiet drink with a friend. Didn’t stick around for any music but I’m sure that would have probably added to the experience.

This place is really cool looking and has a decent amount of seating available but the service was just not that great and the music was just way too loud. This is definitely not a good place to come out with your friends and catch up. I paid this place a visit and walked in before the live music started. I loved how cozy it was. We made our way to the bar but we weren’t able to find bar menu so we just took a seat at one of the couches we found available. Our waitress came by and just handed a small menu for drinks. We ordered a round of wine as we caught up with each others lives. Then all of a sudden the live band started and I wasn’t able to raise my voice enough for them to hear me right next to me. It’s great that they have a live band that actually plays some really cool jams but to be honest, it was horrible to be able to talk to anyone in there with how loud it was. We were able to make our way out to the cold outdoor patio and hear each other then. To my surprise the waitress came out running after us thinking we were gonna take off without paying. We had our wine glasses still filled up and we were just taking a seat outside. It was a bit rude but I understand I guess. I do wish the outdoor patio had maybe a few heat lamps for us so we wouldn’t be freezing our tooshies off. Either way we bared the cold, had another round of wine and caught up with some great friends. I would maybe go back on a day that the live band is not there but then again, service was whatevers so my second visit here might be so worth it. Been there, checked it out, time to move on to a friendlier, quieter place.

Been here twice. Love live music and the lounge style, but this place is horrible. First time, all the servers were just standing around. One of the bartenders was pretty snotty to the wife. One amazing bartender made us want to give it a second try. The second time we came, the owner would not let us in because we didn’t meet the dress code. So we sat and grabbed a drink outside. On a final note, the only reason we even stopped in was to wait for a table at the dust bowl. From now on I’ll just walk around instead of stopping here again.

This location is the new one (they moved 2 doors down). The atmosphere is warm and classy. The bar was beautifully crafted with wood finishes to really set the lounge atmosphere. When you walk in, it still smells like a freshly painted room. I really appreciate the simplicity of the décor, and what really stood out to me was the one wall that was entirely brick. Not smooth but rough and I think it really adds to the lounge.
I like coming here with friends especially during their live bands. I have yet to experience the piano players. The bathrooms are very clean, which I found to be a major plus. Drinks are reasonably priced, and they have a wide selection of alcohol to choose from (well drinks to top-​shelf). I didn’t give them 5 stars because their waitresses are kind of slow.

Went here Sat. Night Oct. 19^th. My girlfriend and I were turned away by the bouncer too busy to get off his phone. Said it would be a 10 min wait to get in because they were at capacity.
«Downtown is changing man, welcome to Turlock» was his comment. Pretentious!
The only other person within two blocks on the street was a guy sleeping in a doorway.
