This place was a Foster Freeze until sometime in the 80’s, I still remember the old man working the grill back then. I’ve ate at this place many times over the years when I’m in the area and looking for a quick meal. The good: Hamburgers/cheese burgers and fries are great. I very much prefer them to a big burger chain’s burger and fries. The bad: The place could use a good through cleaning. Had I never tasted their burgers, I might skip eating here just because of the appearance of a lack of regular cleaning. They have bathrooms accessed by walking outside the dining area and to the side of the building, however they now have a sign posted stating«no public restrooms» in the dining area. If they would clean the place up, I would rate higher. All in all its like a guilty pleasure for me, and I will be back. What can I say, I do like their burgers.

First time here. If you appreciate an old school burger where the bread is falling apart while you’re trying to eat it. This place is for you. I had the giant burger combo. It was good. I will try the Korean food next time. They were very nice people.

This place is kind of a hole in the wall. The food is ok. It’s is farelly cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. Personally I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak although I would call it a real Philly. Not bad for the price.

Ranch Burger is a westside Turlock staple, a place where you just need to get your grub on. I need to mention that they’re deep fried mushrooms are a MUST. It’s pretty awesome that you can also get Korean food here because the owners are Korean so the Kimchi is on point.

No impressed, I had the teriyaki chicken bowl. The rice was semi hard and instead of a bowl it came in a plate. The lady who spoke broken English said it was big, but it really was not, and expensive for what you got. The meat was very tasty. The cup select was small 16oz and x-large 32 oz and refills for the x-large are a dollar, seems too high to me. The place was dimly lit to conceal the grease — everything was a little sticky. Nice enough people, but I won’t be back anytime soon.

This place is easy to miss. Doesn’t look like much, but the customer service is outstanding and the food is good. They take their time to make things right and serve things with a smile. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

If you aren’t afraid of potentially being mugged this place is great! My favorite thing here is the half strawberry/banana milk shake its the BEST thing on the menu. A lot of their fried food has no taste, the batter is plain. They do have bomb teryaki bowls though

I love this little fast food burger joint! Great burgers and fries, friendly, and family owned. Never have to wait too long. One of those great little local places you should try!

Decent little burger and fries. People are really nice. Just a little dive burger joint that has been here forever. Yea it will cost more than in-and-out but it is a mom and pop shop so it is well worth it.

This place doesn’t look like much, but they have the BEST teriyaki chicken bowls. The chicken is marinated, sauteed with fresh vegetables and served over white rice. Extreemely flavorful and delicious! And the sauce is sooo good! A definite favorite.

Place is okay. Food is ok but a little over priced for the quality. Staff are nice. Banana split is better than Baskin Robins. Good spot for a decent burger if your up in Turlock. Place is pretty dead with no tv or anything going on. Just the staff speaking in Chinese loudly. Pretty funny when you sit there and watch them take customers orders, you swear you were at a Chinese restaurant. Ok place overall in the old part of Turlock.

Ranch Burger is simple burger place that has more to offer then just the normal burger and fries. Although the burgers and fries are great if you are in the mood for something a little different they can do that here. Teriyaki Bowls, Egg Rolls or Philly Cheese Steaks just to name a few. Anytime a friend comes in from out of town I always like taking them here.

Located in the older part of town, you may not think that this is the best place to have a great burger, but it is! You can park and order from an outside window while you wait, or you can sit inside and enjoy your lunch/dinner that way. I’d put Ranch Burger’s cheesburgers on the same level as In N Out’s actually-because they are just as juicy and fresh. The fries are always served hot and crispy. Their menu is very diverse. fried shrimp, Philly Cheesteak, Corn dogs, and the TERIYAKICHICKENBOWLS are the BEST! you must try one, and ask for extra teriyaki sauce in a little cup(trust me it’s good). They also have yummy ice cream shakes and banana splits. The owners have always been very polite and friendly, which makes me look forward to coming here at least once a month.
