Cycle Masters

Purchased three puncture resistant tubes for our stroller, $ 10.99 each. Just installed them they defiantly are heavier duty than standard tubes. Looked like a clean respectable place, was helped very quickly, in and out in less than 5 minutes.

I used Cycle Masters to repair a damaged tire. They had a reasonable turn-​around time and the price was good. The employees were also friendly and quick with helping me. The prices on their bikes are pretty steep though. I’m not a true bike enthusiast so maybe the prices are fair, but speaking as someone who uses a bike as a tool to get around and does so pretty cheaply, the prices seem high.

Very helpful staff! Employees don’t push bike sales on you, but are very informative and good at fitting you with a bike that fits you and your needs.

I went in today to get my bike tire fixed. It had a flat and I need it to get to school tomorrow! I came into Cycle Masters and they greeted me immediately with friendly smiles. They asked what the problem was and when I said my tire is flat he said he could change it out for me. He the guys in there were friendly and all made conversation with me. The guy who was fixing my bikes asked what type of tube I wanted and when I asked the difference he explained the difference to me quote well and told me the price difference which helped make my decision. While starting to fix the bike he explained there was something else wrong with the bike and there was a belt that was loose and needed to be replaced. He again told me the price and asked if that was alright with me. It took less than 10 minutes and he did a great job. He even asked if I needed help getting my bike into my car. I very much recommend this place. I will go here for all my bike needs from now on.

I walked in just to get an idea of a product. I was VERY IMPRESSED by how much attention my questions were receiving and by how THOROUGH they were answered. As a newbie to bikes, you can imagine how happy I was with that experience.
1 star less because it was a tad pricey, but then again, I haven’t come across a bike store (Walmart, Target don’t count!) that was not pricey. The extra price you pay is for their excellent customer service :-)

I’ve been into cycle masters a few times before looking once for a mountain bike and came back again to look for components for the bike I bought in Merced and get my pedals replaced. I can’t vouch for the road cycling gear but they have a great selection of components and gear for mountain bikes. Their prices are a bit higher than you will find online but they do have an awesome selection. They had all 4 mountain bike tires that I had been looking at online and plenty of other very popular parts, protective gear, clothing etc. The guys that work here are also very friendly and nice to chat with. The guy that helped me even recommended a local riders website to check out and even go on some trail riding with them. I would highly recommend this shop for any repairs or purchases I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for the prices.

Let me tell you a story about luis m’s first bike. It was a cheap piece of crap, and it wasn’t bought at Cycle Masters. I was six years old and my best friend 3 lyfe, Dennis had gotten a sweet bike to ride around on. So of couse I had to have one.
Well, if you lived in Turlock and you wanted a bike you came to Cycle Masters. They were the start and finish when it came to bikes and anything bike related in Turlock (and probably still are)…unless you were my dad.
Oh we went to Cycle Masters. We browsed around, saw all the different bicycles they had there, had an extremely helpful person explain everything we needed to know and made the best recommendations possible. Then my dad saw the price tags. Not that they charge more than the bikes they have are worth. They have good stuff here and you have to pay for good stuff.
So with that we were off to K Mart and I got a cheap Mongoose knock off called The Road King. It was orange and black and you had to slam the pedals backwards to stop because it had no hand brake action. At least it didn’t have a banana seat.
I bought all my tire patches at Cycle Masters though.
