My grandmother has done hair for as long as she and I can remember, and I’ve always gone to her for my hair cuts. The only time I’ve gotten a hair cut from someone else other than her, was today and it went horribly wrong. I paid thirty dollars for a woman at California cuts to have the worst attitude ever, chop up my hair and do some damage that is unfix-​able. She snipped hairs on five different spots on the top of my head so close to my scalp that I have little spots of very short hair. I’m no hair expert but I’m sure cutting my hair in short patches like that is NOT a trend nor does it help with my hair style in anyway. Even if it was she should have had the curtsy to ask me if I’d like to try it. I cannot even begin to explain how upset I am.

I use to get all my hair cuts done in Modesto, but my wife came across this place for my kids and she sold me on James and his group. Very nice clean salon with great haircuts for myself and kids. He also does great color work. All I can say is my 16 year old, 11 year old and 7 year old all like coming here and believe me they are picky as well as I am.
James and California Cuts now have our hair for life. And did I mention some of the best prices in town?

This is a great, clean salon with good prices. Ask for James! He does great highlights and also did a great job with my husbands hair. I’m going to go back and have him put in some extensions soon!!!
