There are a few bars that make you do a double take when you walk in. It’s a pool hall and a dust bowl era looking chicken coop that sprung a hall and decided to shove all the milk can asters out and replace them with beer and a flowing tap then covered it with whatever the farm workers bring in to barter for a cold draft. But the service and customers are always friendly and laughing. There is little hassle and the college kids that are there are either there to blow off steam with a pool game or to see some random local punk show in the corner where the used to be shuffleboard. There are much nicer, fancier bars around the corner, but if you just want a beer and to be left alone or are in the mood for some Americana modern folksiness. And let’s not be naïve, it’s a pool hall bar so it can get rough around the edges some nights, but the amazing Turlock taco trucks are just a couple blocks away to balance it out.

I can’t beat coming into town and visiting one of my old time favorite bars of Turlock. Vic who runs the bar with pride and no prejudice. He’s always on top of his game and will put you straight. I love there karaōke nights and every day and night is a pool night here. Tonight there having a tattoo contest and don’t know how long I’ll be here but I’m sure it will be interesting. So bring your tattoos in and show them off. There’s 3 bands playing tonight, so you know it’s going to be fun. If you expect more from a dive bar or a bar like this then, maybe you need to go some where else, because this place is what bars are meant to be «drinking, smoking, and having fun» and there’s always pool or liars dice. They have even a juke box to play all oldies and other music. Play it safe here, they now have a security here for all them jokers that use to come into the bar and start some drinking, babbling ways that most people cant control there alcohol. Everyone deserve a good old fashion bar to go to and feel welcome. There beers are $ 3.00 a beer. Sorry no mixed drinks, but they have pitchers at least. There’s a 25 cent video game on the bar and a lot of hanging dollar bills to sign up to, so be a part of the family here. They have a 32 «tv at the bar to watch what some reality tv or sports, and there’s the local to converse with. There’s memorabilia to buy, from posters and tee-shirts. Tonight there’s a lady named rose that makes hair bonnets.

I like this small dive-bar/biiliards-room. Cheap beers, karoake on the weekends. alot of pool tables and a locals crowd. feels like the old days. because smoking is allowed here. The owner here is a cool older gentleman. I personally love this place

Great dive! Beer only, but Vic is awesome and there are several pool tables, a dart board or two, and shuffle board. Can also play liar’s dice for $ 1 a game. Good times! Doesn’t get 5 stars because in true dive bar fashion, the bathrooms are disgusting!
