Red Roof Inn

The room was very comfortable and clean.
Good firm beds. Michelle the lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant.
I did not bring my dog but I learned that pets stay free at Red Roof.

First off, it’s a non-​smoking property, so the reviewer who complained about a smoke smell was either making it up or could have requested a different room.
The service, cleanliness and location are outstanding.
Have you ever stayed at a hotel and thought to yourself «I wish I could live in a hotel like this for the rest of my life»?
While checking in, I thought to myself «If I was a hotel magnate, I would want Alica running the front desk of all of them.». She was super-​helpful, super-​friendly, super-​efficient, and so many more superlatives. Who else calls your room 15 minutes after checking in to make sure everything is fine?
Many accommodations in this price range leave cleanliness to the lower ranks of importance. This place takes cleanliness and service seriously. I would not be embarrassed, nor need to explain myself to recommend the Red Roof Inn in Tupelo.
The rooms are basic yet ample, a bonus is the refrigerator and microwave. The blackout drapes over the blackout plantation shutters were a blessing for my sleep-​deprived self.
When in Tupelo, stay here. If you’re lucky enough to have Alica check you in, you’ll know what Southern Hospitality is all about.

The hotel seemed very clean and the staff very courteous. The only reason it did not get a higher rating from me is 1. Although they claim to have «new rooms» the cigarette odor from last rooms still lingers and 2. I had house keeping knocking on my door at 9AM, 2 hours before check out, I couldn’t go back to sleep and I was upset about that. All in all, if you don’t mind the smell of smoke I would say go for it. The room was nice, hardwood floors, VERY comfortable bed (you can see why I was angry and reluctant to wake up and leave it before anticipated) not a completely bad experience but the little things do count (for good & bad)

This hotel is really nice, great amenities and fun staff. I would recommend this Red Roof Inn to anyone. Really enjoy my stay!
