I have been in the tupelo ms Davids bridal 4 times. Each time I have called ahead. The first 3 times they said I didn’t need an appt, to just come in, so I did. The first time was for bridal gowns. No one offered to assist me. I did everything myself. I bought my gown elsewhere. I went back looking for bm dresses. Again, no one offered any help. I looked through the racks and just left. The 3rd time was for mother of the bride. They said they couldn’t check to see if the dress I liked could be ordered. We left and found the same dress at a boutique and got it there. Went back yesterday with my sister to look at bm dresses one last time. I made an 11am appt to make sure we had help. I got there early, we were the first in the door, and the consultants helped every customer behind me in line. I stood at the front for 15 min with my sister, and then we decided to go look. I asked a cashier for help, she said to ask a lady«over there»… No help. And she wasn’t checking anyone out. We picked out 5 dresses. I went to the dressing area and we stood there looking around. 2 consultants saw us but never offered to help. I put my sister in a fitting room. I asked a consultant for clips– she pointed to a drawer in a shelf so I got my own clips. We liked 2 of the dresses but since no one would help me with the fabric, we left the dresses on the counter and walked out. I have 6 bridesmaids. I don’t know if the goal is to lose money or treat customers poorly, but the tupelo ms store managed to do both.
