Awesome great superb, food was very good. My niece and I stopped by for a meal after a day of shopping and enjoyed it immensely. The ribs and brisket on my combo plate were cooked just right. No complaints and even had enough for leftovers.

the BBQ is good, Ribs are Excellent, the sides SUCK!!! they use Orieda French Fries… that are extremely under cooked!!! what happened to FRESH??? the staff are young and with all young people, they only hear what they want… so you have to check your order after you receive it.
There is absolutely NO enthusiasm or hospitality!!! needs new management and a makeover!

The place for ribs! I had the combo plate with ribs and brisket. The ribs were wonderful the brisket mediocre. We had to send our beans back because they were cold… I don’t eat cold beans. All three barbecue sauces were great. My girlfriend had the pulled pork plate and she said that the pulled pork was just alright.
The ribs were the only thing to write home to Mom about. Hence, the three stars.

Great food and great service made this a great stop while passing through. I had the ribs with fries and okra and I had no idea that 9 ribs could be so big. It was dry rub and fall off the bone delicious even without additional bbq sauce. Fries and okra were good and friendly service made this experience great. Prices were fair and I will be back if I am ever close by.

Visited on 3÷12÷16 at 6pm. My husband and I were seated within 5 minutes, but that’s where the good service ended. We noticed it was pretty full but thought nothing of it until we had sit for 45 minutes without getting any food or any kind of explanation of why. Turns out the kitchen was backed up because of a party of 45. Which is okay, but again, no one told us what was going on. After trying to find out what was going on, no one seemed to want to tell anyone. And they still could not tell us how much longer it would be. Without any explanation, us and a few other parties just got up and left. And sadly, this was not the first time I have received bad service here. Will not be back.

This is not good BBQ. We ordered combo platter with ribs and pulled pork. Ribs were just ok probably three stars just average. The pulled pork was so incredibly dry and hard like it was pulled a week ago and sat under a heat lamp. Terrible worst pork I’ve had. Mac and cheese was bad or bland tasted like Kraft Mac n cheese. Potato salad was decent. We also split a smoked chicken salad. Salad was ok the chicken was good. I would not recommend this place, like I said not even close to good bbq

1 star b/c the ribs were AMAZING!!! Makes me question how they did that with the baked beans & potato salad & coleslaw all dumped out of a container… Not impressive at ALL! BLAH!
I’m at the Best Western… Right next door. I called to see if they delivered — after a long pause — the answer was YES they will. I walked over to get a menu & was approached by the manager or owner & he told they MIGHT be able to do it if they aren’t busy. Went into great detail about the inconvenience of his staff. (There was one couple in there at the time.)I was okay with that.
My first thought was… If I’m in the same parking lot as a HOTEL with tons of traffic — NO ONE would have to call to see if I delivered — & certainly wouldn’t get blown off if «the restaurant is busy» — I would work with the hotel & set up in the lobby to give samples out & menus!
But — instead– they are happy with finding reasons NOT to deliver.
What ever. They will be closed when I visit again. For sure.

After 2 days of fast food, was looking forward to some Mississippi Q and sides. Must have come on an off night after reading all these glowing reviews because this place was mediocre at best. Sweet bbq sauce is very good and the beans are good. Mac and cheese is ok. Had pork and ribs and both were room temperature, maybe. Ribs obviously had been sitting for a while because they were dry. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We ordered the brisket dinner and a 7 piece of ribs, it came out in good time and was very tasty. Only things I disliked was that they are a bit pricey for what I could get elsewhere and that no waitstaff talked to us for the first ten minutes we were there. We just kinda chose our own table and awkwardly waited.

Good barbecue. Solid offering. Sides were decent as well. I’ve had the pulled pork and ribs and both have been decent. Meat was quality. Sauces had a nice mix of vinegar and sweet.
I have a hard time getting too descriptive about barbecue because you can take so many variations that it’s hard to pick a clear winner. You can have a salty rub or a spicy or a sweet and none be particularly inferior to the others. So I tend to clump my evaluations into Worth Your Time and Not Worth Your Time. XRoads is definitely Worth Your Time.

Ribs and Pork are amazing! If it’s your first time they will even give you a sample of the ribs to try! Yummy!
Bathroom was clean! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly! Kid friendly.

I always compare ribs to my favorite @ Pappy’s in St. Louis & these ribs rank right up there! These are deliciously dry rubbed and the meat fell off the bones onto my plate as I picked them up! No need for even a drop of sauce. Fried okra was done perfectly! Baked beans had good flavor, but could have been warmer. I would definitely eat here again next time I’m in or driving through Tupelo!

Pulled over to this place on the way through Tupelo and were very pleasant surprised. We ordered the smoked chicken and ribs, which were both fantastic. The ribs were some of the best we’ve ever had. Fried green tomatoes and okra were also quite good.
Our waitress and the manager were friendly and helpful and we were very pleased with the service. Awesome experience and great food!

The ribs were excellent. Truly awesome and some of the best I’ve had. Beans were very good. The slaw was meh. Overall, a five star meal and I’d recommend Crossroads strongly.
There was no beer on the menu, which would have gone perfectly with these tasty dry rub ribs. And then as I was leaving, I spotted a tent card on another table with some Bud Light sort of stuff. My table didn’t have one, so I had stuck with water.

We ate there yesterday for an early dinner and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We’re on a road trip and missed lunch, so we were starving by the time we got there. The service was really good. Our waitress was prompt and really nice. We started with the fried green tomatoes and they were delicious — crunchy on the outside and tangy. We all got the ribs except for my son who got a cheeseburger. The ribs were really good. They’re made with a dry rub that had a great flavor. They were very tender. My husband wasn’t a fan of the sauce because it was very thin, but I really liked it. I thought it complimented the ribs really well. The okra, baked beans and cole slaw all get a thumbs up too. I would go back if we’re ever back in the area.

The food was good and a solid value. I’m pretty tough on bbq places in general, so a 4-star review is a VERY solid review for me.
We had a very nice waiter but some of the other tables were grumbling about wait times.
Still 3 adult lunches and 1 kids plate for less than $ 30 is a steal. I’d recommend it and we’ll be back.
