Could not try because on a tight timing, and could not find close parking that was open. So do not expect to just run in and grab a coffee to go.

When I am trying to wake myself up i head over to this place before work. The coffee here is SOOO strong! If you come during the morning rush be prepared to wait in line! They do try to move as fast as they can but it’s so good that everyone wants a cup of this goodness! The cashier and barista are so nice and can personalize your drink however you fancy!

Fantastic lunch items! Get one of the salads and if you get there early enough before the lunch rush(11:30−1) get a cup of the soul. The staff is extremely friendly, however, that does lead to longer lines and a longer visit, make sure you give yourself enough time. Grab an iced green tea– they brew it fresh!

As good as it gets. Perfect espresso and spectacular deserts with friendly, professional service. If you want to know what a real espresso drink should taste like, this is the best I’ve found in Oklahoma. Seating outside allowed me to enjoy my cigar. Had a spicy chocolate chip cookie. A must have. My wife loved the quiche. Was a nice place to rest before a concert at the BOC.

I don’t get all the 4 and 5 star reviews. My latte was pretty, but I have had better coffee from McDonalds and Starbucks. The cinnamon roll that everyone else raves about was cold and stale. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. The faculty was nice with comfortable places to chill or work.

Great latte. Very good sandwich. This places picks up a decent amount of pre-work hours breakfast business so it gets surprisingly busy for a town like Tulsa. Lots of suits here. I had a really good latte. Rich, creamy, bold flavor. Very good. The«Sandwich Number 2» was quite large and more than enough for breakfast with an egg patty, melted cheese and a tomato slice on a grilled sandwich bread. Very delicious! Nice vibe in this spot and great for a little time of Unilocaling before heading into the office.

Went and got the small French Press. It is a good size for $ 8 and more than enough for two people to share. Knowing what I know now, we would have opted for the personal size instead and still had enough for two. The French press was insulated and offered hot coffee to warm up and fill up our cups every time while it continued to steep. It is good for the price very convenient and has good operating hours.

The main reason I stayed at the Mayo, was to have good coffee in proximity. Crazy? Yes. But that’s how much I love/need a quality cup of coffee to make the days bright. I’m pretty snobbish/spoiled when it comes to crafted coffee(sorrynotsorry). The almond milk latte was very well crafted, balanced, and delicious. For Tulsa, a great choice. Salads and pastries were absolutely delicious and filling. Great selection of food, great coffee, made the stay at the Mayo worth it.

You know when a place only has one size cappuccino«the perfect size» that there’s a really good chance they know how to pull a good shot and make a good cappuccino. Well, I wasn’t disappointed, this is a great place! Nice décor as well.

GOODCOFFEE! I’m an avid coffee drinker. I like simple strong coffee and that’s exactly what Topeca gave me. I had a soy latte. Perfectly frothed soy milk and good, strong espresso. You need this :)

I was impressed by the quality of their espresso. I got their large iced americano(it came with 6 shots! I was so happy) and it was delicious. It tasted very fresh and had a lot of crema on top, unlike most other coffee shops. The latin american coffees are more acidic than others(they said theirs was from el salvador), so it balances out well with milk. I hope they extend their coffee farming business to africa also, because those are my favorite beans(less acidic). Service was excellent too. Highly recommend! I will be back while I’m in Tulsa.

I fell in love with this place immediately upon entry. I already knew I loved actual Topeca coffee, but I hadn’t been into one of their shops. I came in the first time in the afternoon, it was quiet, a few people studying, chit chatting and I spotted a cozy couch. I ordered a mocha and took it to my eyed couch. Little did I know this would be one of the best mochas I had ever consumed, HANDSDOWN. I am from Seattle and can be somewhat of a coffee snob(beer too, duh) and I also travel a lot and am sure to try local coffee whenever possible when on the road. I will note that they also have a lot of yummy pastries and even get quiches in if you come in the morning which I try and do whenever possible. They make breakfast sandwiches too, etc. Even if you are in need of a new french press or other coffee making device, they’ve got those available here as well as Chemex. ;) If Topeca is new to you, then it wouldn’t be a waste of time or energy to look them up and see what they are all about. They are small, no middle man, and have everything shipped directly to Tulsa from their El Salvadorian farms. Seed to Cup, something I never thought I’d truly appreciate, they’ve got a great thing going, creating works of art on the daily!

Great coffee and such friendly service. Only bummer is their«gluten free» labeled bread sits right next to regular bread. What’s the point?

Love the coffee here and have been to their other locations but this one does their own lunch menu. Oh my gosh, we had a fresh chocolate chip peanut butter cookie straight out of the oven and it was good. I also really enjoy their salads. I go here too much for an out of towner!

Hotels are supposed to offer sub-par fare, by definition, because travelers are a tough crowd to please. Topéca may not have a direct business relationship with the Mayo hotel, but they’re certainly joined by a doorway, and that was enough for me to anticipate Good, but not Great. I lower my expectations whenever I order anything from a hotel, actually. Every aspect of my experience here, from the latte to the herbal tea to the yogurt and fruit cup to the naughty by nature cinnamon roll was fantastic, especially with the soundtrack that morning: a virtual flash flood struck Tulsa, it was a wild ride to watch, comfortably tap tap tapping my laptop(free wi-fi). I heard the beans were sourced from one estate and the café was family-owned; I got that impression from the service, as well, so friendly. My cup was honestly rewarding, complex and delicate. Again, the cinnamon roll was sort of inter-planetary, there was way too much icing on that mother(I ate it all up) and the best part was the roll itself, which was very dense, something more likely to come from a European bakery than Duncan Donuts. The Mayo is connected to a gem. Let’s hope it keeps shimmering.

Fantastical coffee and great people. The baristas and staff are genuine and easy to talk with. I had a pour over which met all my expectations and the breakfast sandwich was tasty. The company has a great backstory as well. Responsibly sourced coffee, good people, good food.

Wow, I really luck out in Oklahoma when it comes to great restaurants at the bottom of hotels. Topéca is no exception and I could not be more in love with this incredible coffee shop. This place is great in so many scenarios. Need a cool, creative place to get some work done? Check. Want to catch up with a friend over wonderful food and coffee? Check. Need to shove food in your face as fast as possible after a long travel day? Check. I love the long work table inside… I’ll either sit there or snag a seat by the window. If you’re trying to decide on lunch, don’t get anything other than the chicken melt. Everything I’ve tried for breakfast is wonderful, too, and grab a pastry if you’re in the mood for something sweet. The coffee is in a league of its own and you can’t lose regardless of what blend you have. Hooray for local coffee and food in Tulsa!

This is the third time in this establishment and it looks better after the recent remodel. This Topeka location is located in the Mayo Hotel and is such a treat to walk into(off the side of the main entrance), just beautiful. They have a good selection of homemade bakery items(supplied by their sister company Heritage Bakery) though I haven’t tried any yet. The coffee menu is easy to read and their equipment is top notch. I ordered the Perfect Latte which is my favorite. I like it because it has more espresso to less milk ratio than a latte(like a Flat White is you do Starbucks). My husband likes the macchiato but frankly, it is such a small drink I like mine to last longer than 2 swigs. The staff is okay, kind of stand off-ish, but whatever. My complaint would be that on my last visit, my husband and I were over charged a drink by adding an extra 2 shots in a cup. We realized it when we went to pick up our drinks there were 3 cups waiting for us. When we told the barista they took our card back and refunded the 2 shot drink but then took the drink and dumped it in front of us. Sure, we didn’t order it. But it would have been nice to offer it as a consolation for having us wait and extra 5 minutes to do all the refunding ect. Just good customer service.

so. this place is one of my absolute favorites. I go to the Topeca in the Hyatt hotel downtown on the daily due to it’s proximity to my office & its awesome coffee. but they don’t have lunch offerings. this location does. and they’re nothing short of amazing. I usually get the half curry chicken salad(always on point) with chicken noodle soup — apparently I’m into chicken. they also have Brie grilled cheese sandwiches which are to die for. couple that with mouthwatering desserts like peanut butter chocolate chip cookies & perfect soy lattes and this place can’t be beat. it also has an extremely comfortable vibe which makes it my kinda place — you can go here to meet with friends, read, etc. AND the staff is always grand. there ya have it, Topeca is DANG good.

There’s something about this coffee shop that immediately makes me feel good when I walk in. The urban feel is inspiring, the slightly dimmed and natural light is relaxing and the staff is consistently welcoming. The coffee? Tulsa is so lucky to have locally roasted coffee with a high standard for the whole seed to cup process. It’s family operated and I am so happy out-of-towners staying at The Mayo have this connected to the lobby. What better way to show off Tulsa! Needless to say, the coffee is always fresh and the company is passionate for quality. I have found one of my favorite rainy day indulgences here… the cinnamon roll! Baked fresh with cream cheese frosting… I mean, really. How can I not get one even if it’s not raining?
