It’s a target! Not sure what more can be said. It usually clean and the employees are friendly. I had some great popcorn from the snack bar. Their grocery dept is small.

Pros: I had to stop going to the location on 71st(nightmare traffic, crowded parking lot, long lines at Starbucks, slow waits at checkout, wild children running about bumping into things and crowded). By comparison, this location is an out of the way Shangri-La. There are only ever 1 – 2 people in line ahead of me, clean floors, no ill mannered children running about, and plenty of parking. This location has all the things I like about Target(clothing, cute office stuff, home décor, toys for the kids, electronics, and other knock knacks) without any of the bother. Cons: no fresh produce so I end up buying my kids too many snack foods

I love the grocery section and how open the store feels but I’m afraid I couldn’t give it 5 stars because they are right when they say that the employees need to have better customer service skills. Other than that though my experience is pretty efficient.

I walked around this location for about 30 minutes searching for a bathroom scale. I was passed by multiple employees that looked right through me and didn’t see if I needed any help or even acknowledge my existence. None of them were rude to me, but none of them tried to even smile at me either. Once I finally found the bathroom scales(hidden behind a mound of unpacked stock) I grabbed the one I needed and went to check out. The cashier was pleasant, but instead of excusing herself and saying she’d be right back(she had told the customer in front of me she’d bring something to customer service for her) she just slowly walked away leaving me and another customer in the lane waiting to check out. Target needs to go through a better training policy with their employees to teach them the appropriate ways to handle customers… and probably treat their employees better themselves so they don’t hate coming to work so much.

Earlier this summer they somewhat expanded the grocery section. Modicum of produce, limited selection of Archer Farms(store brand) baked items. No deli, minimal meat. Nevertheless their Grocery gets the job done in a pinch. Best pharmacy in town though; good selection of OTC stuff & health/beauty. Prices are competitive with that big chain from Arkansas. Well –run store generally. Checkout lines are usually plentiful & quick. Being from the West Side, this is the big box store that changing the whole game for us! Vastly prefer over Wal Mart.

My wife is an avid Target shopper, but she won’t go back to this one. Twice she has gone and they have attempted to over-charge her for sale items. The latest was that they charge different prices for the same size, same brand of shirt, but the COLOR was different. Give me a break. In other words, if you are trying to take advantage of items they’re liquidating at the end of the season, be prepared to argue. And you will lose, because the customer is always wrong. We’ll stick to the other two Targets.
