Worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. The enchilada was so tiny and flavor was bland. Waiter was unattentive and rude he finally did get around to our table again. It was like pulling teeth to even get him to print out our check and bring it back. Then he hovered over us as we reviewed our check and tapped him foot as he waited for payment. I will never go back and highly recommend that no one does either.

This place is fast, cheap, and great food! I love their fajitas. Everything I’ve had here is good, especially the chips and salsa. Also, they have great lunch specials.

The shrimp cocktail has the perfect amount of spices and taste fabulous. It pairs wonderfully with a big momma and the entrees they offer there at the restaurant. I love the staff there and how they make you feel you’re not entering a friends home you are being welcomed with open arms. It’s unlike going to a restaurant you feel like you you’re at a friends home. Love all the staff and thank you for a wonderful experience

Wow, this is by far the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The fajitas came out with burnt hamburger meat at the bottom!!! Gross! Really who puts hamburger meat in fajitas. Our teenagers plate looked like slop! I would people thinking of eating here DON’T! RUNAWAY while you still can! Yuck!!!

Every time I have been here we get great, quick service. There is really nothing to complain about. It is good, solid Mexican food at good prices. I like the tamales, enchiladas, and tacos. We usually go to El Tequila, as it is closer to our house, but the food is very similar. My husband really likes the shrimp cocktail. Everyone loves the margaritas. The queso dip is delish!

My husband and I had not been here in several years because we felt like Tulsa has quite a few Mexican restaurants that are better but yesterday we thought we would give it a try! When we walked it they had one couple ahead of us that we’re waiting for a table so we asked if they had a wait list in the bar and the employee at the front told us to go ahead! They have a «bar room» completely separate from the restaurant and a table in the bar was open so we sat down! The bartender came over and started to rant about us being in line! So I politely asked him if this is bar seating and he wouldn’t answer me, you could tell he was upset and very rude! We weren’t sure what he wanted us to do! I would have gladly moved with a polite explanation! We got up and started to sit at the bar and just decided to leave! We won’t be back! Arizona, Los Cabos and Mi Cocina are better and you won’t get yelled at!

Burrito was very small and dry. Beef loaded with chili powder. Salsa was not good and chip were not homemade. Extremely loud with kids crying everywhere.

Always great food and even better service!!! Queso is the best ever. They also have locations at 101st and Mingo and on Brookside also. I think this is probably the better one but cant go wrong at any of them. I tend to stay at whichever location Gustavo is at, he is the best!!! Always hugs me and my wife and treats us like we are royalty everytime we go in. Great mexican food!!!

The key to this location is that it’s within walking distance for me. I’m not a huge mexican food fan and really have to be in the right mood for it. This place has the standard fair of platters, appetizers and fajitas. The real benefit of this place is the combo menu, 2 or 3 items such as taco, enchilada, tamale, chile relleno. While they have set combos, it’s just as easy to mix and match your own which they are happy to do. Beef dishes are ground beef that is nicely seasoned. Chicken is shredded and braised. Things that are sauced come with a pretty tasty red sauce with meat. You can also upgrade for a minimal fee to their queso which is also good. I usually get a combo that includes two tacos and a tamale. Refried beans are refried beans. Their rice however is fantastic for some reason I cannot describe. Also no complaints about their reasonably priced house margaritas.

This used to be the place of my favorite food. Tonite there was hair in it. UNDER the food. The man came back and yelled at me that it was mine so everyone in the whole restaurant could hear. I will NEVER eat at any Señor Tequila again. I’m so grossed out and embarrassed at being yelled at.

Great food and Margaritas. Randomly drove by this place and decided to stop. I’m glad I did. The server was so friendly and polite and the food arrived promptly. The restaurant wasn’t too loud even though there were a few parties going on. I agree with a previous review that it isn’t authentic Mexican, but it was still quite tasty and everything was fresh. I would definetly make a stop here again if I’m ever in Tulsa! I cannot emphasize how great the customer service was!

Food is typical, but the drinks are good. Occasionally, they sing out loud and get a good laugh. Our order is right most of the time, but not every waiter understands what we are saying.

From out of town and didn’t know any better… Yuk! El Chicos would have been a better option(& that says a lot coming from me). My 3 yr old wouldn’t even touch his food. Maybe if I’d tried the bar?

Vegetarian beans and rice + excellent guacamole is about as much as this vegan girl can hope for. Also, endless chips and salsa? Yes please.

I was visiting a friend in Tulsa and she recommended this restaurant for a good margarita. We arrived at 9:30pm, knowing that they closed at 10pm. We were greeted(if you can call it that) by four waiters(standing around) clearly annoyed by the fact that we arrived 30 minutes before close. We assured them that we were only getting drinks. They rolled their eyes and pointed to a table for us to sit. Our drinks arrived at 9:50 and by 10:05 they were flicking the lights on and off to signal us to leave. We’d barely finished ¼ of our drinks! For the next 15 minutes they continued to signal us by turning lights off and then every server in the restaurant crowded us in nearby booths, some lying down others playing in their cell phones. It was the most uncomfortable restaurant experience! We inhaled our drinks and existed by 10:20. The entire restaurant followed us out. Needless to say, worst margarita in town!

We ordered the queso, fish tacos, combo #4(taco, cheese enchillada and beef enchillada), and margaritas. Prices were reasonable, our dinner came out to be $ 34 before taxes. The food was good, but nothing stood out. Everything was just OK. The drinks however were great. For $ 5, the margaritas were extremely packed with tequila and a good punch. I would definitely be back for the cocktails, but I the food was not quite as «mexican» as I would hope for.

This place has only one good thing going for it and it’s given away in the name. Señor Tequila’s is a bar that serves mexican food. One of their more famous drinks, The Big Mamma, is an experience for sure. A massive margarita served in what looks like a fish bowl is this place’s claim to fame. Besides this drinkt, the place is average. The food itself is pretty awful. It’s only authentic mexican if you have no concept of what mexican food is or what it should taste like. Our queso was generic, like it was heated frito-lay cheese dip. The taco platter was overpriced and bland. Our waiter was sub par and mixed up our order, but I understand these things happen. Honestly this place is only worth a visit if you want to jumpstart a night of drinking or want a big mamma. If not there are way better places to have real mexican food in Tulsa.

i did not enjoy my meal here at all. however, a colleague who knows authentic mexican food thoroughly enjoyed his meal. i thought it took awhile for the food to come out considering it’s mexican food, but what can you do. it’s a so-so place.
