Motel 6

The motel needs updating and a super deep cleaning. The pool is falling apart and the smoke alarm was tucked away in a drawer with no batteries.
However, staff was decent and the bathroom and sheets were clean.
My pup was welcome even though she is a pitbull. Even though she is well trained many places turn her away.
For the price and location it’s decent enough to stay when passing thru.

Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. After booking the hotel, the three men who were working at the desk couldn’t figure out how to correct their mistake with my home address. They accused me of identity theft and I spend over 45 minutes on the phone with travelocity. The customer service rep (for travelocity) told me that the address error was on motel 6’s end. Instead of admitting their error, they ignored me and instead carried on the charade of working… Never stay at this hotel! Also while I sat in the lobby waiting for Travelocity to call the front desk, several other customers came in with problems with their rooms. Next time I drive through Tulsa red roof will get the love, not this hot mess of a hotel… And the saga continues motel 6 insists I stayed here! Are you kidding me? Your front desk refused to allow me to stay! How is that a confirmation of a reservation? Time for a phone call… Understand I’m not a happy camper.

I can’t even give this place a star… Between the roaches, ants, stained carpets, ripped sheets, loud music and GUN SHOTS, the worst experience EVER!

Stay away! This was by far one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever stayed at! If it wasn’t for the fact that I had been driving 13 hours and was exhausted I would have left immediately! The sheets were stained, black mold on the walls, it appears that this room was meant to be a party room, which was obviously the case with the burns into the walls and tub. The smell was horrendous, and it seemed like it Had not been cleaned in years! After midnight is when the real fun started, bass music rattled the entire place! Good to know when I left in the morning that all practiced safe sex, because the parking lot was littered with condom wrappers! Never again!

Absolutely disgusting, smelled like mold, dirty carpet, stained bedsheets and carpet, mold on the air vent, air conditioner was inoperative, would not recomend to anyone under any circumstances, and take it from a service member who has slept on the worst places on earth, and that was just the first room, the second one wasn’t much better.
Even if you are meeting your secret lover pls show her some respect and go elsewhere.

This place us terrible! Our sheets were stained, tub looked like someone stored an engine in it, and pretty sure someone died on the carpet. Please see pictures. Do not trust

My non-​smoking room reeks. I had to move the night stand to block off where my cats can crawl under the bed and found ashes and dust. There’s cigarette burns on the tub. Curtains are sheer, allowing light and possible prying eyes to look into the room. I don’t expect much from Motel 6, but I expect my non-​smoking room to be just that. I would not stay here again if they offered me a free room. Hopefully I can catch a few hours sleep before I hit the road tomorrow.
EDIT: no sleep due to horrid smell and noise all night. The woman was rude in the morning. STAY AWAY. I have no idea how two other people rated this dump five stars. Maybe they stayed when it was still a LaQuinta?

This room is great for the low price around $ 60 very up to date king size bed, clean, spacious, flat screen, microwave, mini fridge, my stu with my family was perfect and comfortable so comfortable we didn’t wanna get up the next morning. Would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean nice and relaxing stay.

Rarely would I consider a budget motel to rate 5 stars, but this one definitely does!
Couldn’t find Motel 6 near where i needed to stay for a night, so phoned Super 8. As i approach the Super 8, I noticed a Motel 6 right next door so went to it.
Perfect! King size bed, the softest, yet firm one I’ve ever slept in, with a large desk (rm 124 even had over-​desk shelf) that allowed me to make the room an office from home. WiFi included (not extra).
Super clean, tile bath. Found one light that didn’t work (left side headboard). no problem for me, but when i called to left them know the next day, a repairman showed up within the hour and replaced it (not the light, the whole fixture!)
I understand Motel 6 bought this inn from Red Roof. Clearly, they have renovated it beautifully.
Instead of one night, i stayed there 3 days before heading to Dallas. And that was a mistake. I should have stayed there for 4 days, as the Motel 6 I stayed in Irving TX was a real turkey.
BOTTOM LINE = go out of your way to stay at this very affordable Motel 6 SOUTH in Tulsa.
