I have been fishing Lynn Lane for maybe 30 years with probably a minimum of 200 visits. I've caught so many beautiful 3-5 pound spotted and largemouth bass. It absolutely breaks my heart that I can no longer fish there. Anglers are no longer allowed to go down to the water but must remain on top. So basically, no more fishing at Lynn Lane. I realize that a fisherman drowned there, but he must have been intoxicated or something. Maybe we could wear life jackets or sign a waiver in order to be able to fish there.

A great place for a long walk, jog, or bike ride! The track runs 2.6 miles per lap. Fishing is allowed. The path is a powdery gravel path that is mostly smooth but does have a few rough patches. The Reservoir sits atop large embankments so there is a short, steep climb up to the walking path. There are multiple parking lots at various entrance points along the main roads so parking is never really an issue. I always encounter other people out at The Reservoir, but it never seems crowded. There is always various types of wildlife to observe. There is no cost or fee for entrance. This is one of my favorite places to clear my head and spend a little time outdoors. I would suggest going around sunset to experience colorful skies reflecting off the water. I highly recommend it for anyone!
