A must do for brunch. Omg come hungry. If the weather is good, go for a seat on the patio. The view of the gardens is beautiful and thy have umbrellas so you re covered from the sun. The amount of food for 25 $ is astounding! I loved the seafood table. Fresh ½ she’ll oysters, shrimp cocktail, crab legs, stone crab claws, salmon! You can have them make a custom omelet or waffle. The sliced prim rib was juicy and perfectly med rare and tender. They have a breakfast egg casserole, mashed potatoes, bacon, sausage, chicken, tilapia, 10 different salads, lots of fruit and cheese, crackers and dip The dessert table was wonderful! Lots of bite size items, cheese cake, brownies, lemon bars, cannoli, chocolate cake and more. Cookies, bread pudding etc. You get coffee. The orange juice, Bloody Mary s and mimosa s are extra and I can tell you the Bloody Mary s are great with the sweet bacon in it Staff is attentive and everything was fresh. I will go there for celebrations and to impress my out of town guests. Make reservations! This place is pretty small.

This is where I take out of town guests for lunch on weekdays. The food is only so-so, but the scenery is spectacular. Service is attentive. I usually have my guests split a caprese salad with either a club sandwich or burger. Good sweet potato fries, even better waffle fries. Excellent berry jasmine green tea. I’ve always been able to find parking easily. Takes credit cards.

Came here for brunch on me and my husbands anniversary. Beautiful place, food was good, great selection, but did taste like a buffet(that meaning, it didn’t taste fresh as it would made-to-order). We overall enjoyed our time there, service was great as well. When we got our bill we were shocked, seeing that it was $ 30 a person and me being 7 weeks pregnant at the time and sick– I only ate a toddler sized portion of my meal. The gardens were gorgeous… brunch on the patio is a must.

The atmosphere here is why you go. We had been in the past and they tried to seat us in this horrible little conference room off to the side. We politely declined and left. This time, we made sure our reservation was for the main dining room. The main room is beautiful with tons of windows, high ceilings, and a bit of a view of the gardens. I think the atmosphere is where the good ends for me. We went for Sunday brunch at around 1:00 after they had already been open for a few hours. The whole buffet just felt… used. Stuff looked like it had been sitting out a lot, some of the tablecloths were messy, and some items were almost gone. The selection was also odd– like a halfway attempt at Southern breakfast with some bacon and biscuits(but no scrambled eggs, jam, butter, sausage, hashbrowns, etc.), a Mexican enchilada/tamale section, a cold seafood section, and a salad and cheese assortment. Noticeably missing was a bread selection. Like you could get sliced roast beef but there were no rolls. They really need a luxurious bread and jam selection, with, like croissants, toast, french bread, and rolls. The best thing there was the bacon. Everything else was either bland or tasted store-bought. I was excited to see crab claws, but they had absolutely 0 flavor. Plus there was nothing to dip them in. The desserts appeared store bought but tasted OK. Biscuits were clearly the frozen kind you get at the grocery store. Maybe I’m being hard on the Philbrook because we just came back from a vacation where we had the most amazing buffet breakfasts ever. But come on, it’s a $ 25 per person buffet. It should be amazing. Service was mediocre. Sometimes they cleared plates quickly, sometimes not. Our waitress disappeared about halfway through the meal, so we never had a chance to order coffee with our dessert. Go once for the experience.

The first time I tried to eat brunch here in the summer I did not realize how fancy it was– or that you needed a reservation. So, fast forward to the winter, I make a reservation for 1030 for myself and a girlfriend. It was snowing and the garden looked like a winter wonderland. I guess because we had the earliest available reservation, there were not to many people there which was quite nice. We had a gorgeous view of the garden, and fist pick of the buffet. I felt really fancy– like a lady who can just spend her days brunching in old mansions-turned-museums. It was a nice escape from reality. The highlight for both of us was by far the waffles– I’m not sure what they put in the batter but it was delicious– almost reminiscent of a Belgian waffle. There was a great selection of sea food, fruit, vegetables, salads, but the one thing that seemed to be glaringly absent was a toaster and any sort of breads/pastries. We both love lox and it was disappointing that they did not have a good old bagel and smear to go with it. I enjoyed everything I ate except the biscuits and gravy, which were incredibly lackluster. The mimosa’s were good and the endless coffee was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and never let our coffee run out. We really enjoyed are meal and overall experience. This place is so beautiful, but I feel that they just need to add a few more options to make this a truly five-star brunch spot. And for goodness sake, I know this is Oklahoma, but maybe attempt to wear something other than sweet pants and a hoodie to brunch– it’s downright silly to look a hot mess in such a beautiful venue.

In order to treat myself, I decided to try out La Villa for lunch since it’s in my ‘hood. I really couldn’t pass up the Restaurant Week lunch deal of 3 courses for $ 12.95. Too good to be true? I was easily the youngest person there. I even had a lady approach me to tell me how brave I was to eat lunch by myself. Really? I guess I stood out from the ladies-who-lunch crowd. I first had the gazpacho shooter. Miss. Total miss. Not good. At all. Then came the Philbrook Trio which consisted of the tiniest crab cake I’ve ever seen, «half» a chicken breast on spinach with a spoonful of quinoa, and three pita bread slices with another spoonful of curry hummus. I almost laughed out loud at the portions. This time all were edible, the curry humus being the clear winner of the bunch. I could eat that stuff all damn day. I was then told they were completely out of the advertised desserts(Pot de Crème or Cherry Cake) so I could either have a slice of chocolate or carrot cake. Duh, I chose chocolate. This was the clear winner of everything I was served. Sweet God in heaven, please have this waiting for me when I reach the pearly gates(fingers crossed). So good! Save the best for last! Overall, I was really not impressed. I would gladly come back for a glass of wine and some sweets but not for anything else. I seem to be noticing that places participating in Restaurant Week are not prepared for it at all. This goes for other restaurants I’ve been to, not just La Villa. Items are sold out, there is confusion about the menu, food is lackluster in quality. Such a shame.

Had the brunch and it was quite the spread. Everything from traditional breakfast to prime rib. Something for everyone. Service was excellent. Room open and bright with a view of the gardens. Price is above average but well worth it

Oh gosh — the Housewives of Tulsa at its best! Arrived starving at lunch time to find Sunday Brunch in full swing! Everyone dressed to the nines! Love it! Super fun grey hairs everywhere. Everyone spying everyone. Loved it. Staff is funny — many«hostesses» checking on everyone but only two servers. The food was meh… I guess old people like bland food. Wasteful too: a huge display of gulf oysters(yuck) and no one was eating oysters, crab claws and big shrimp too — gluttonous and sad. Very few vegan/vegetable healthy options. The desserts were def old people desserts, petit fours(probably thawed) eh? And the rest just looked like they came from a super market. Surprisingly presentation was weak. I mean it’s ok — maybe on a non-brunch day It’d be cute for lunch.

I was pretty disappointed with the food. We ate their sunday brunch buffet. The venue and service was wonderful, but the buffet was sub par. I’d definitely go back to the museum, but I wouldn’t pay $ 25 for the food again.

And on the Sabbath, the stomach said«Let there be Hunger» and there was Hunger. And Hunger was voracious and insatiable. Seeking salvation from the Hunger, I ventured forth into the world. I traveled for a short distance until i came upon a pair a gargantuan gates. «Lo» I cried, «Hunger has sent me! Open thine gates or Hunger will surely smite me!» The gates were thrown asunder, and I entered. A woman clad in white robes with a golden aura directed me to descend into the bowels of the building and to partake in the harvest of the season. I rounded a corner and a bounty was laid before me. Salmon, oysters on the half shell, peel-n-eat shrimp, fruit salad, regular salad, chicken, fish, steak, mini quiches, bread pudding, cakes, tarts, muffins, an omelet station, and a carving station were all part of our feast. We broke bread in a spacious, sun drenched room with a great view of the grounds. The server was polite and attentive and cleared our platters with alacrity. Upon the conclusion of our feast, the server delivered unto us our bill. We were surprised to see that such a spread only cost us the equivalent of about .25 pieces of silver(about 25 dollars per person). And Hunger, temporarily satisfied, voiced it’s satisfaction by possessing my GI tract and forcing out several loud burps. And it was good.

Best Sunday Brunch Buffet by FAR… Tulsa’s one little kept secret that is freaking amaZING… Has all you can ask for… Prime Rib, any type of fruit, chicken, fish, steak, all the desserts you could imagine, oysters, all sorts of salads, and goodies… Really really has a great atmosphere… One thing about buffets that can be dissapointing… They usually have all this gorgeous food, but none of it tastes any good… Not the case with La Villa… TASTESAMAZING!!!

This is one of the nicer destination restaurants in Tulsa. Very classy and refined. We have eaten Sunday buffet there several times and have always enjoyed the brunch. Make reservations.

I’ve never had the pricey brunch, but I hear it’s a very fancy set-up. The lunch is truly delicious, and worth the trip to the museum. If you tell the front desk you’re there to eat, they do not charge museum admission. A variety of salads and interesting dressing choices makes this one of my favorite light lunches. There’s also a few hearty dishes that I hear are great. Pleasant atmosphere, prices are average, wait time varies.

We love breakfast and brunch, especially Sunday with or without champagne brunch buffet. La Villa restaurant Sunday brunch at Philbrook museum is a nice location with a relaxing view of trees and high ceiling. Sadly, the food is below average. The restaurant serves a buffet style Sunday brunch from 12−2pm on the weekend, $ 22/person. Cold appetizers include salmon, cocktail shrimp, ½ shell oysters, potato salads, cheese and fruits. There is an omelet section, and of course, the usual breakfast items such as sausage, bacon, waffle, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy and potatoes. There are also some non-breakfast items like fish, pork loin and Spanish dishes. There are cakes and muffins as well. We found the omelet, Brie and fruits are palatable, but the rest was disappointing. Sausage and bacon taste fatty, seafood are fresh and the non breakfast items were old and salty. The hubby’s lemonade has a flavor of prominent tap water. My mimosa(orange juice and champagne) which is $ 4.50 and I cannot taste the bubbles, but All OJ! Service is nice, but unfortunately we would not be returning.

This has to be one of the best steals in Tulsa. for $ 22/person brunch there is a great array of quality food including breakfast foods, carving station, salads, cheeses, fruits, deserts and seafood. Love taking out of town guests here. Some stuff is even fresh from their own garden. You gotta check this out.

For $ 22/person, it’s as good as it gets! The variety of options at their Sunday brunch buffet is top notch. Items include: omelet station, scrambled eggs w/veggies, waffles, stuffed french toast w/cream cheese and preserves, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and fresh fruit. Non-breakfast items: oysters on the ½ shell, shrimp cocktail, baked brie w/fruit, an assortment of pasta salads, couscous, pork loin, baked salmon, rice pilaf, chocolate cake, cheesecake, lemon bars, carrot cake and lemon cake w/cream cheese. There were many more dishes available which I am sure I’m forgetting to list. The brunch also comes w/coffee and many juices to choose from. Next time I will have to try the mimosas! The food was prepared and seasoned well. The view inside the museum was sleek, polished and yet still felt warm. The view overlooking the restaurant is a must see! This is a fantastic place to take out of town guests. I was definitely surprised to see something this amazing in Tulsa. Tip: MAKERESERVATIONS!

A very elegant restaurant within the Philbrook Museum of Art & Gardens, they had a nice selection of entrees. The only entrée that really appealed to me, however, they did NOT have. I guess they need to update their menu. It was the coconut shrimp in a sweet mango sauce. Sounds yummy but the chef has made the wrong decision to delete it from their menu! I had a hard time deciding thereafter; I settled on the shrimp scampi in a pasta with marinara sauce. I don’t love marinara but it did in a pinch. My favorite part of this lunch was the crab/lobster bisque soup. Super super tasty; nice and extra hot; a bit of sweetness to it too which was unusual in a good way. I really wanted dessert but had to rush out to another meeting which got pushed up at the last minute. Service was a little slow but forgivable as the wait staff was incredibly friendly.
