This is a down home, Family run restaurant that make terrific pizza. One of the very best in the Tulsa area. Don’t expect fancy restaurant inside, basic table and chair, but great pizza and other foods. I highly recommend it!

We recently moved to Tulsa and have been trying all of the pizza restaurants in town. La Roma was up next on our list and yesterday we went and tried it. My wife, son and I ordered three medium pizzas and three drinks. I was somewhat disappointed with the sodas as they handed me a cup that they filled with soda behind the counter. A normal size cup, but for $ 2 per soda I would have expected refills. The pizzas came and while they were okay, they were nothing special. This is a middle of the road pizza place. Better than some chains, but not memorable.

My husband and I recently tried this place and it was amazing! We ordered a small house salad but it was large enough to split. The homemade dressing was amazing! The owner recommended we half and half an rj’s pizza and pepperoni so we did. The rj’s pizza was amazing!!! It was our favorite for sure. Since it was our first time there the owner gave us complimentary baklava which was delicious. Me and my husband are excited to go back and try more off their menu.

This is my first time coming in! The staff are very friendly! I moved to Tulsa from New York and desperately seeking for a New York style pizza, I’ve tried NY pizza, Marcos, and umberto’s pizza and they all are nasty So I decided to have pizza for today. I see that the ingredients are not fresh, but frozen that’s a big NONO. I ordered pepperoni pizza and it came OMG it was seasoned so heavily with oregano that taste was stuck in my mouth the rest of the afternoon. I only ate half a slice, the taste was unbearable. My husband ordered Greek salad and cabbage roll. The cabbage roll was good just frozen beef I can tell the difference between fresh and frozen stuff. The Greek salad was heavily seasoned with oregano and not enough dressing so he sent it back to exchange it for baklava and it was good! The only thing that was good was the baklava

Hands down the best falafel in Tulsa! Very good food and Katia is very nice!(I’m sorry if I misspelled your name!). I didn’t try the pizza but it smelled awesome. If you like Lebanese food, you need to try this! I will be a regular for sure

Delicious pizza and baklava. Next time I’m trying the hummus and gyro! Two large pizzas fed 6 of us. The customer service was excellent. They welcomed us into their house and made sure we were comfortable.

When you walk in the door, the aroma is wonderful. The pizza is great but I go there for the Lebanese food. It is fabulous! The chicken Schwarma(sp?) is to die for.

My friend and I joke that we aren’t sure what they put in the pepperoni pizza, but it’s hands down the best pepperoni pizza in Tulsa. It’s our therapy. food therapy. Order the hummus to dip your crust in, you won’t regret it!

We stopped at La Roma Pizza during a cross-country a few years ago upon the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel… Oh my God, what a gem! It was a rather quiet Friday night in Tulsa and we had arrived well-past the dinner crowd. We had such personalized service from the owner, a very nice man who ran the place with his family. We thought ‘how can this place be so quiet on a Friday night with food this delicious?’ It was the middle of January though… We had a pizza, hummus and a few other bits and pieces. We also had a nice conversation with the owner, enjoyed our meal immensely, and left with a thoroughly great opinion of the place.

This is the best falafel in Tulsa and it comes with a tahini not a tzatziki, vegan off the menu. Their baba ganoush is also good. Sure it’s a pizza place but, don’t let that deter you. There isn’t a huge selection of vegan options, they have vegan soups sometimes but, it’s sporadic.

Just had Lebanese food but it was great. Shawarma was good. Curry pot pie was good. Cabbage rolls were excellent! Great complex flavor with that cinnamon/nutmeg or whatever it is going on in the background. Got 2 to go for eating at the hotel later on in my road trip.

I’ve been looking for a good mediterranean restaurant in town, and I was really looking forward to trying La Roma’s Lebanese food. I also really want to find a good local, family-owned restaurant to patronize regularly and support the neighborhood. We went to La Roma about 45 minutes before it closed and were the only customers there. I guess I should have read the other Unilocal reviews first because it was not what I expected. The place is an order-at the counter kind of restaurant and seemed to cater much more to pizza than Lebanese food. I don’t mean to be harsh, but the space itself is so badly in need of a makeover – it felt kind of dirty and dingy even though I think it was technically clean. The family who owned the restaurant was camped out at various tables doing«family type» activities, such as homework, paperwork, and bills. I mean, it’s their place and they can do what they want, but this really made me feel like an intruder in someone’s home rather than a paying customer. Very uncomfortable. We ordered shawarma, tabbouleh, and a chicken gyro. Considering the whole family was in the dining room and the only guy in the kitchen was clearly not Lebanese, I am 99% sure that none of our food was freshly made. The tabbouleh was the most disappointing– maybe we got a bad batch or something but it was like 99% parsley. That is NOT how tabbouleh is supposed to be. The shawarma and gyro were OK but not worth going back for. The foam plates and plastic silverware made the whole dining experience feel very cheap. It was also really unclear how you were supposed to get refills on things like water, as there was not a fountain out, and no one came by to check on us. We ate as quickly as possible and left. I have heard the pizza here is good, so maybe I will give that a try sometime via take-out. I also wonder if going less than an hour before closing affected the freshness of the food and our overall experience.

I’m writing this review solely on the pepperoni pizza we had. We didn’t get anything else because we were short on time. The pizza was so tasty and crispy. Not too much sauce or cheese, just perfect. The atmosphere was«mom and pop, Lebanon/Italian» style mix. The music was classic oldies. The staff and owners are so sweet and kind. It’s an order at the counter concept. When you’re short on time you can call In your pizza order and they’ll start cooking it for you, then dine in. I’ve heard the tabouli is fantastically authentic and the hummus is great for dipping the pizza crust in. Will will have to try that next time.

Laroma Pizza is a family owned business that makes everything homemade. The tabouli is the best in town and lots of fresh parsley.. The hummus is really tasty too. The pizza’s are delicious and they use quality ingredients. Also the chicken dinner called Tawook is grilled chicken with a homemade garlic sauce that is delicious and healthy. It comes with a cabbage salad and rice. They make really good falefel too. You order at the counter and it is a very casual atmosphere. It is a great place to place an order to take home. I always get a tabouli and hummus to go for the next day. The family that owns this restaurant is so friendly.

This is a nice little family own and ran pizza restaurant that just so happens to have greek food. We ordered a medium pepperoni and black olive pizza, and also started with a cabbage roll and a spinach pie. The cabbage roll was flavorful, containing more rice than there was meat. The sauce on top was good. Ordered the spinach pie which I thought was going to be spanikopita. Instead it was more of a hot pocket or a small calzone that contained a lemony and savory spinach filling. The pizza itself took awhile to cook and get to the table(about 25 minutes). The crust itself, while nothing overly fancy, was cooked nicely. It was crispy and buttery, almost like a cracker. The sauce is really good and the toppings are plentiful. This place is just down the street from me and I’ll visit again. Definitely not a fancy place. But the owners and the atmosphere are nice.

Very very down home place to eat. I was in here a few weeks ago and you can tell they have a lot of regulars. Discussing a few menu items with a fellow patron while waiting in line I finally decided on the Lasagna, I wasn’t in the mood for pizza really, and it turned out to be really good! It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it still was good. The 5 stars is because the atmosphere if you like family owned places with regulars, La Roma is amazing. The patron I was talking too was just waiting to pay his bill but stuck around and talked to me for 15 minutes about pretty much everything on the menu and what I should get next time I’m in. The service is also amazing. A++ will be going back.

So we came here for dinner tonight based upon reviews here on Unilocal. The group was six of us. The pizza is awesome. The best pizza I have ever eaten? No. The best pizza I have ever eaten in Tulsa? Yes!!! And the Middle Eastern food was equally awesome. We had Gyro’s, Cabbage Rolls, Meat Pies, and much more. And all of it was cooked very well and hand made. Will keep them on the list of places to go back to. Nothing greasy, very nice family run organization with awesome food.
