I wanted to give a 4 star review for my experience, but a few things can definitely be improved. First, this place definitely has potential, and I really want them to be successful. Took my wife and kid there for lunch on a Sunday around noon. The menu was a bit limited I think because it was a brunch menu. I wanted a lunch or a dinner menu, but our service lady said it wasn’t available at that time. The food was good, I’m sure if I had a lunch or dinner dish there, it would be fantastic. Unfortunately, I’m usually only available around noon on Sunday. The main thing that kind of threw me off is that the setting/décor wants to be welcoming, but I saw a chef and another service person looked at me in the eyes and walked right by, without a single word. Again, I wish many good things for a restaurant like this, ’cause I think it’s a great concept for Tulsa. I will go to their dinner, when I’m off work on a week night…

I’ve been wanting to travel south to try Crêpe Nanou for awhile now. Fortunately my wife surprised me with a Father’s Day brunch. Highlights: Atmosphere was interesting and relaxed. Regular menu and Father’s Day menu both looked great. The wine list — shared with the adjacent wine bar — looked amazing. Certainly one of the best in OK(and I’m very picky about these things). Unfortunately the previous night’s pool party meant that I had to pass on the wine and the awesome looking Bloody Mary bar. I’ll be back to try both. The wagyu mini crepes were good. I would definitely get them again, but they are rich. One of these is plenty for me. We had the Crêpe Nanou w/over easy egg and the Crêpe Lorraine. Both were excellent. Our son loved his raspberry crêpe with fruit. They have beignets for dessert. I’ll return to try the pot de crème. Waiters were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Negatives: It’s not in midtown.

I seriously adore this place! Love the menu from different kinds of crepes to duck though I can understand how someone could see their menu as limited compared to typical chain restaurants around Tulsa. Personally I find the options just right due to the quality and speciality. I also love the wine selections! I’m all about the wine menu. You don’t find many places like this here in Tulsa & that’s just the honest truth. My mother Gloria is obsessed with this little French restaurant and she has studied French cuisine herself. I mostly go for dinner but I have visited for brunch and was impressed with the options & affordable prices. But I will have to say the music they play does give a more New Orleans feel than French. I see that they perhaps are trying to blend the two themes together?

My bf and I went out for date night. We really enjoyed the food! He got the seafood pasta and I had one of their specials for the day, the duck with Yukon gold potatoes. My bf asked about their seafood special and I think the waiter may have gotten confused and brought me the wrong meal. He was super apologetic and my correct meal was brought out. The seafood pasta was extremely tasty and they definitely had a lot of shrimp and crab in it! The duck was super tender and presented nicely! Oh I forgot to mention the soups. I’m not a fan of tomato soup, but I could definitely eat a bowl of their tomato bisque! My BF ordered it and I tried a taste. I got their French onion soup and couldn’t get enough of it! I like how they used cubed croutons instead of a huge piece that fits the entire bowl like most places, it just makes it easier to eat. We built our own crêpe for dessert and I wish we didn’t share one lol! The wine list was impressive as well! The wait staff was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there! Definitely plan to go back.

Very cute French place, clean. The waiter his name was Alex, wasn’t too friendly, their coffee was amazing! The crepes we ate were a bit dry but the filling was delicious ! Next time I’ll try something else.

This is such a cute place! Love the classy music they play here. I wish they had a little more options on the menu though.

I’ve been trying to go to this place for months; finally for Valentines Weekend I convinced my husband to give it a try. This was last Sunday. We arrived around 1pm. it has the«wait to be seated sign» so we waited in the front. A waiter noticed we were waiting but nothing happened. After over 10 minute wait, I called the resturant to get someone’s attention. The phone rings, a girls emerges… I tell her«that was me calling, we have been waiting for a while».her response was«oh ok. What is the name of the reservation?». I explained we didn’t have one… she had us sit on a table. And what are the chances that about 10 minutes go by and no waiter came by!!! Not even water in the table. At that point we knew we would not enjoy the food so we decided to leave. I will give it a second chance(once I am over the frustration of that visit) and update my review accordingly.

Disclaimer: I’m only giving La Crêpe Nanou 3 stars, but I wouldn’t let that discourage you from trying it. My individual experience here was 3 stars, but I think it’s a restaurant with a lot of potential, and it’s more unique than most places I’ve been in Tulsa. Tbh I’m mostly confused about what this restaurant is supposed to be, exactly. My friend and I were excited to try it after coming home for break and realizing there was finally a crêpe place in Tulsa, so we came at 12:15 on a Sunday morning, expecting to have to wait awhile considering that’s prime brunch time. But we got there and were literally the only customers there throughout our entire experience until right at the end when another group came in. Obviously it’s no fault of the restaurant’s, but the emptiness paired with the soft classical music playing in the background gave us kind of a creepy vibe lol. So anyway, we also didn’t realize it was a white tablecloth restaurant, but the interior is decorated really nicely. It made me feel like I was in one of those little bistros attached to a French museum or something(in a good way). I also probably should have looked at the menu before I came, because I thought this would be an all-crepes type restaurant. But they had tons of «normal food» options, so my friend and I ended up both ordering the grilled cheese + soup and then split a dessert crêpe with nutella, bananas, and white chocolate ganache. The grilled cheese was okay — it was very oily but still did the job. The tomato soup was super creamy and really yummy. I don’t know if I’d necessarily order them again but I was satisfied with the meal. The crêpe itself was delicious! It was displayed beautifully and tasted amazing. I know it’s not what this restaurant was meant to be but I wish La Crêpe Nanou were more of a casual all-crepes kind of place because those crepes are great and if going there didn’t feel like such a formal affair I’d probably go back more often just for a dessert crêpe. But I hope people still check it out because it’s a great new concept for Tulsa and the chefs seemed to really know what they were doing!

In my opinion this is the best place to eat in Tulsa. I chose it for my anniversary meal. My hubby takes me to brunch here for the most amazing crepes and for date night on Friday for mounds of fresh mussels at a $ 7 happy hour price, next door at their wine loft. Chef Travis can do no wrong!!! Come see Allissa, Tori and Christina for amazing customer service and for genuinely good vibes. The atmosphere is amazing both on the restaurant side and the wine loft side has outdoor couches and fireplace.

Not impressed. I had the capellini pasta with chicken and it was awful. The chicken was just boiled chicken and had no flavor. The pasta looked like they opened up a can of stewed tomatoes and artichokes and called it done. I was disappointed because the restaurant seemed really nice in décor and ambiance. My husband had the club sandwich and he enjoyed it but same problem with the bland chicken. The beignets were hard chewy fried bread dough pretending to be beignets. The dessert crepes were pretty good. I’d say stick with the crepes here and avoid the lunch menu. On a side note, service was great.

A treat for Oklahoma! The décor(Deep burgundy with gold details) aligned with comfortable seating makes this a win. Add a great listing and very attentive –not pushy — service and you get a winner. Their salads are superb but the star of the location is their cappuccino. Very worth the trip. No bfast options. Ah! Go next door. The Wine Loft is a hoot!

First timer for Sunday brunch. Ambiance was good. Menu was limited. I had the tomato soup with the grilled cheese. The soup was only ok, the grilled cheese was very good. For main coarse I choose the Crêpe Bourguignonne, beef stew in a crêpe. It was good. My wife had the Croque Nanou. She also thought it was good. The soup and enters were at best warm. They need to be hotter. We shared the Crêpe Nanou for dessert, it was very good. We will give it another try.

I just tried La Crêpe Nanou out for Easter brunch. I was very pleased to get in last minute, and I suspect a lot of people just don’t know they are serving brunch. The place stayed pretty empty the whole time we were there. Overall experience was excellent. I had the Crêpe Lorraine, which was quite good albeit a bit boring. My husband had the duck omelette, which he just loved. We finished the meal off with delicious authentic New Orleans-style beignets. Service was perfect. They also bring out complimentary fresh fruit as a sort of appetizer at brunch. I have never seen this, and although the fruit was mostly underripe melon, it was a nice touch. I think the décor could really use some work. I know I say that in a lot of reviews, but please, independent restaurant owners in Tulsa, HIRE A DESIGNER. I can’t tell if they were going for more France-French or New Orleans-French here. Nevertheless, the vibe is bistro-y and I imagine could be very romantic at night. I’m looking forward to going back for dinner.

This restaurant was amazing. My husband and I ate here for our anniversary because let’s face it there are not a lot of people who don’t like crepes. For dinner I had the steak and pomme frites and my husband had pasta del mar. Basically pasta with seafood. Both meals were great. In fact if I wasn’t allergic to shellfish I might have had his meal. We ordered a crêpe for dessert and some beignets. Both were also really good. We are going back to try the brunch menu because I saw some delightful entrees that sound amazing. Also if you like jazz and French music this place has it playing in the background. Totally romantic!

I really wanted to like La Crêpe Nanou. South Tulsa needs another nice restaurant that’s not a chain. It was hit or miss with our group the evening we went. It seems the crepes are the best choice on the menu. The Steak Frites were so salty as to be almost inedible. There was also a very liberal use of garlic, sometimes to the extreme that needs to be toned down. We may have visited on an off night, so I think it’s worth another try, but this visit did not meet our expectations.

Excellent French onion soup and escargot in puff pastry. Decent wine selection plus you can order off the wine menu from the Wine Loft next door. Had the crab cake crêpe. Waitress suggested a side item with it but the crepes are big! It had two good sized crab cakes inside and toped with a creamy mornay sauce with creamed spinach. Super rich! Desert crepes looked amazing but was too full to try! Good date night place, only thing I would say that was a negative was that the dining area was so brightly lit up. The ambiance and menu seem like it should have a dimmer, more intimate lighting.

The place was empty. Fillet was cooked perfectly. Asperagus was good as well. We were served a small dish of melons and berries and the melon was rind and no where near ripe and tasted like cucumber. Salmon crêpe was not good. Crêpe Monsieur was ok but all were way overpriced for what we got. Beignets were horrible. Hollow pillows of air and were sent back. Banana’s foster not great either mushy unappealing bananas. Cute ambiance though waitress had an attitude when asked if they had a gluten free menu. She said no this is a place with croissants. After further questioning there were a few things gluten free that a celiac can eat. Not sure why the attitude but she came around and was helpful in the end. Don’t think this place is going to make it. Not a great selection, overpriced and well the lack of people on the busiest of Christmas weekends says it all.

Pros: What a lovely restaurant! Walked in and was immediately charmed. Very relaxing and romantic. Greeted promptly, no wait for a table, efficient wait staff, and friendly proprietor. Ambrosia – a cocktail– was very sweet. I liked it and could have had Ambrosia as my dessert. Onion soup. Beignets were good. I’m of the opinion that fried dough with powdered sugar can never be bad. The smoked salmon in my crêpe was very good. Cons: The salmon crêpe was OK, but something was off about it? Maybe it’s because I like my savory crepes covered in rich sauces and the sauce that came with this crêpe was a light summery one. However, it is possible that the chef chose to pair the crêpe with a light sauce because the inside of the crêpe was filled with a creamy herb cheese. Maybe I’ll give it another chance when the weather warms up. The sever offered to get me something else, but since I already ate half of it I declined. I figured the fault was mine, not the crêpe’s.

I had higher hopes for this place. I have been twice now, and there have been very few people here each time. The first night I had thier french onion(which was incredible) and the server(who had trouble opening the wine) recommended the salmon. The salmon had skin on(which I loved) but was waaaayyyyy overcooked. For desert, we had the banana foster crêpe(which was also recommended). The bananas were mush, but the ice cream was great. Went back last week, and the place was still empty. Had to get the french onion soup since it was cold outside, and it hit the spot once again. I ordered the filet which came with bernaise sauce and fries(great). However, you could hear the servers talking the whole meal since the place was so empty. We were told that the banana foster crêpe had been«recreated» so we tried it. It was much better. For the meal, the prices were okay, since the food was pretty good, but with the décor in the place, you’d think we would be «wow’d» by everything. The server could not pronounce the wines nor menu items, as they were in French, and it is no fun dining alone in a restaurant.

We ate here the first week it opened. The restaurant is beautiful and the attached wine bar is a modern, beautiful, comfortable spot. The service was very good. I had the Caesar salad(perfect) with whole anchovies, and then the beouf bourgignone crêpe. The beef dish was very tasty, but could have been a bit hotter, and could have used more of the delicious gravy. The crepes were reminiscent of the crepes we eat during our yearly«pilgrimage» to France… although perhaps a little chewier. My husband had the mussels in crème and the charcuterie plate(all meat — no cheese) and said it was very good. We split a raspberry crêpe for dessert and enjoyed two delicious cocktails(the Nanou martini was great). We live close(half the year) and will be back, and hopefully my next review will take it to 5 starts — I am looking forward to that.

Try the crêpe au crabe, delish! Really neat french cocktails & the dessert crêpes are great with their house made ice cream.
