Every review posted about this place so far is spot-on. A year ago, I’d have given this place five stars. Great lunch with delicious and innovative dishes. Clean place, helpful, and best of all… it was cheap. I would go here once a week to pick up a dish of Butter Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Bourbon Chicken, Mushroom Beef, Eggdrop Soup, Eggrolls, Coconut Chicken or even the exceptional Kung Fu Chicken(with jalepenos… miss this…) And then something happened and some point. It seems the ownership did change hands. Everything was different. The food changed to Chinese/Mexican– which could be amazing and something to really see. Except, it wasn’t. The food appeared to be what you might expect when heating up leftovers from two different places you ate at earlier in the week. I love to experiment and try new things, but the flavors didn’t work. The portions didn’t work. And it all became somehow worse than bland. With so few great places to eat nearby, this is indeed a true loss the the East Tulsa and even east midtown area. I had loved this establishment since the week it opened. Now it is just a memory.

I have been a regular here for a couple of years and there were several dishes that were consistently quite good. Sadly, my most recent visit will be my last as the restaurant has changed hands and it is not the same. Most of what I ordered the last time was tossed, barely eaten. The sign has been appended to read«Chinese and Mexican food,» and while I have not tried any of the Mexican dishes that wasn’t why I went there before. This is a loss to East Tulsa.

Was getting tired of bad Chinese dishes and so I googled and came across Kung Fu Kitchen. The website looked inviting and the menu was easily accessible. I wish that the website would have pictures of the dishes next to the names but that’s the only thing I would add on the website that I can think of. The food was DELISH! I was so surprised with how fresh the vegetables were that I was awed! I haven’t come across a delivery service for Chinese food that had fresh vegetables but like I mentioned, I was Pleasantly Surprised and enjoyed every bit of it. My husband and I ordered a whole bunch of stuff that I can’t even remember. We ordered quite a few of our favorite dishes that we normally would get at any Chinese place and WOW… awesome. I can’t remember all the dishes, but we had the beef and broccoli, shrimp lomein, dumplings, house stir fried rice and a couple more things but I can’t remember. Each one of the dishes were great except for the dumplings. The dumplings were not bad, just had a weird after taste to them. If you have not tried Kung Fu Kitchen and you are in the area they deliver, TRYIT!!! It was worth trying. Even if you don’t live near the area where they deliver, I’m guessing you can go there. Must Try Place. Delivery was prompt and the delivery guy was great. My new favorite Chinese Restaurant!!!
