Finding a good coffee shop can be a tough. So let me go ahead and save you some time. Kaffe Böna is one of my top five favorite places to get coffee. It’s my first time here and was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. From friendly staff to the overall atmosphere, this place is everything you want in a coffee shop. My go to drink anywhere I go is the Frozen Mocha and this one of the best I’ve found in Tulsa so far. So if you are in the area and are hesitant on where to go get coffee, keep on driving by the Starbucks and give Kaffe Böna a try! Highly recommend! Five stars!

I have had the best experience ever time I go here. The staff is super sweet and lovely… so is the coffee! My two favorite drinks from kaffe bona is the 918 coffee and the hot chocolate.

The drinks are alright, but nothing special. If you’re looking to get stuff done, it’s hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great! Other times they blare hard rock music… Not sure who thinks that’s a good idea for a place like this. Overall, it’s an average place.

I ordered two drinks here to have some variety if flavor for my drive home to OKC. Both drinks were made with expert care. My order was taken immediately when I arrived and the staff was very friendly. I will try this place again if I am in the area again.

I’m obsessed with Kaffe Bona and I can’t believe I didn’t appreciate it more when I lived here! The ONLY reason why I’m not giving it 5⁄5 stars is because there’s no drive through and the service is pretty slow. But other than that, dare I say it, Kaffe Bona is probably one of my all-time favorite coffeeshops. What I love about it is that they have almost every single flavor of De Monin syrup, meaning you can get anything from a vanilla latte to a macademia nut mocha to a mint drip coffee. Seriously, every flavor you could ever hope for Kaffe Bona has! The Survivor has been my go-to drink since high school and I still can’t get enough of it. I like to order it blended, but I’ve had it iced and hot and it’s delicious no matter what. It’s basically a coconut and almond mocha and it’s the reason I started drinking coffee in high school. But really all of the Kaffe Bona specialty drinks are great — just order whichever one has flavors that are most appealing to you and I have no doubt you’ll love it! The ambiance is perfection — it’s decorated so eclectically and feels more homey than coffeeshopy. For me, it was the perfect study environment; not too quiet, not too loud, not too comfortable, not too sterile. Kaffe Bona is a true gem, one of the few places in Tulsa I miss!

Delicious specialty drinks and very nice atmosphere. It’s one of the bigger local coffee shops that I’ve been to as well. Even has a computer work station. I had the Hail to the Queen and my husband had the Cowboy. Both were delicious. I wish I lived in the Tulsa area so I could come here often! Love it.

My husband and I finally ventured into Kaffe Bona for lunch. It is a lot bigger and more coffeehouse-ish inside than it looks from the outside. The layout is a bit confusing in terms of where to order, where to get drinks, etc. If you’re looking for a menu, look up above the counter on the side. They made the menu way too large for the space, so you have to stand as far back as possible to see it. We each had a sandwich, and I’m sorry to say but they were both huge disappointments. My husband got the Club, which looked exactly like something you could make at home. It said it came with Swiss cheese, but this was straight-up processed American slices. I had a California sandwich that was OK. The potato bread was really good but the guacamole tasted store-bought. My husband got chips as a side, and he seriously had like 7 mini bags to choose from at the counter, 5 of which were Doritos. I don’t know if the employees just weren’t paying attention to restocking or if they don’t carry many. I got fruit as a side, and it came as a tiny cup – like the kind most places serve condiments in – with – I wish I were kidding – 7 grapes jammed in. 7 grapes. That was my fruit«side.» The meal wasn’t exactly cheap – I think like $ 17 for the 2 of us and only one of us got a soft drink. We left a tip on the credit card receipt at ordering, thinking that the employees bus the tables when you’re done. Nope. It’s all DIY. I hate when places leave tip lines even though they are providing no extra service other than selling you what you have just paid for. We didn’t try any coffee drinks. I tried one of the samples of what I think was brownies(maybe chocolate cake?) on my way out, and it was dry and flavorless. I can see how this place could be a cozy place to study or hang out(and there did appear to be some people doing that), but I’m just not sure it can compete with the Starbucks next door. I believe you have to buy something to get the wi-fi password.

The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is really chill. I was sad to see their hours change some months ago. They now have been closing at 9:30. It was the best place to go to study and grab a snack. The coffee is fairly decent with the one exception of the house coffee. Stay away from the house coffee. I am quite fond of the penguin which on many occasions they have went out of their way to embellish my drink in a glass or mug. RIP late night studying and Settlers of Catan tournaments.

My husband and I just moved to Tulsa from Louisiana, so we haven’t had much time to venture out much… We have ventured to Kaffe Bona twice in the last three months, though, and I ordered the specialty drink Top of the Morning… it is my new favorite drink. A blend of Irish cream and hazelnut. Oh my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I try not to spend money at a bigger, unnamed coffee chain, and I really honestly try to keep my coffee business to local coffee shops. Since we haven’t been able to explore much, this place is my favorite right now. I’ll update once we have explored more.

Poor service. 5 minutes at the counter an not even the slightest acknowledgment. Walked out. Went to Starbucks.

The Christian bookstore coffee shop. It’s a Christian owned company and it’s a great place for students to study, but if you are looking for good coffee, it’s not the place for you. They try pretty hard, they have great employees, but they just miss the overall quality mark.

Update: they are no longer open until midnight, and they’re closed on Sundays. This has led me elsewhere for studying, but I still venture in from time to time. The coffee has gotten better over time, and they can now make French press or pour-over. I would recommend trying it out, just be sure you get there before 9:30pm.

WOW! I never thought this place would become my second home. The baristas are my family the customers are my friends. The drinks taste like God himself created them. This coffee shop has given my life a new meaning. My kitchen at home is decorated to look like Kaffe Bona’s kitchen. I bought a couch to match my favorite Kaffe Bona couch. The wallpaper in my bathroom coordinates perfectly with the wallpaper in the women’s restroom at Kaffe Bona. I am consumed with an undying love for this store. I hope that one day, I can be as great as Kaffe Bona. It’s not just a coffee shop. It’s a lifestyle.

I have been coming here for years and I have to say that everything has gone down hill. I feel like the portions have gotten smaller and everything is very inconsistent. The other day we ordered the chicken salad pie to go and when we got home with it we quickly realized that it wasn’t even filled up with the chicken salad and was mostly just crust and didn’t even come with the carrots garnished on top. My friend also had a sandwich that was completely drenched in mayo, to the point where it was uneatable. It’s gotten to the point that you have lost my business.

I enjoy supporting local businesses; however, I don’t enjoy the inconsistency of my drinks. It was a bit busy… I get it, but I ordered a large size drink… I received a barely medium sized drink… I really like the iced soy chai latte and the grasshopper but it really depends on who’s making it. Sigh. Too bad shades of brown is way too far of a drive. Some baristas are great some are just a disappointment.

Walked from my office at noon on a Wednesday. I was surprised to find a few loiterers but no lunch crowd. Service was unimpressive. Not like they didn’t have time to answer my questions but it was just too much trouble. Seems their priority is leaning on the counter. Food was good but not special. Interior is lovely and comfortable, with free wifi, tvs, and computers for public use. Was looking forward to trying other menu items but I’m just totally underwhelmed. There’s gotta be other nearby places where I can get decent food WITH a smile. And what the heck is wrong with the bacon?

Wanted to go here to support a small business while I was out south. Mistake. Would’ve rather had starbucks. Low quality coofee/tea. Over priced. Unfriendly staff. On the positive side. nice interior. Clean. Half way there!

Free Internet with free computers at a computer bar. This is the perfect spot to sip coffee while workIng on a term paper. Plus this little coffee shop has great sandwiches and soup. Plenty of tables. You can even bring a game to play with friends.
